Guest Reviews
- Krzysztof (2/5): A ridiculously expensive dirty flat managed by an unhelpful landlord totally not worth its price - Quiet and rather peaceful surroundings. A well-equipped kitchen. The flat was big enough.
Literally one of my worst travelling experience, especially given how much money I had to spend on the whole thing.
To all the owners out there - the fact that you have written about something does not mean that I have to be happy about it or, more importantly, that I have no right to criticise that.
So the landlord has come up with a great idea of collecting the keys from a nearby shop (which, by the way, is within 8 min walking distance). The problem is - the shop closes at 10 P.M. If your plane is delayed, just as mine was due to the weather conditions, you have no chance to collect your keys and get to the apartment. And no, the owner IS NOT helpful at all. Even though he himself declares in a message that if a guest is planning to come after 10 P.M. he will try to somehow adjust. This time he probably was out of town so I received zero help from him. Since I had no intention to spend a night at the airport I had to reserve another room in the last minute. If you think the owner felt that he should give me a discount then no, he had no intension whatsoever to do so and showed no remorse. So even though I had paid for two nights I actually was able to spend only one night in the apartment (but for the price of two of course). Also, by extension, there is a problem when leaving the apartment. If the shop is closed at that time you are supposed to leave the keys in some box. Unfortunately the instructions were not precise. When collecting the keys I asked the shop assistant to show me where this box is. He did not even know what I am talking about. We both went ouitside and could not see it anywhere.
The owner was also unhelpful when I asked him about a socket adapter. He told me to look for it in a box that was full of garbage (disgusting) and since it was not there he said that it is not his problem. My phone discharged and I had no way to ask him where this box for the keys was located. I had to leave them on the threshold.
As to the flat, it is in fact quite spacious. It is dirty though. The towel was old and disgusting. Most importantly - by bed sheets were covered with someone else's hair. I decided not to even sleep in it and had to sleep on a couch. Yeah - super comfy.
The toilet's lid was loose and was dirty too.
I had to use a few tea towels to clean up the table.
This is something gross and unacceptable.
- Dena (6/5): Quiet and well located flat. - The location was great. Lots of restaurants in area. Good access to tube and busses. Flat was quiet. Various appliances weren't working properly, such as the fridge and bedside lamps. There was no plug for bath.
- Kezhuan (8/5): Very good -
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Athina (10/5): Exceptional - The stairs down to the bedroom
- Monika (10/5): Great place to stay, on a lovely quiet street. Close to transport and shops, and has all the facilities you could ask fo -
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - Easy access to local transport.
- Patricia (6/5): Long - Problems to open the exterior Lock and the WIFI was no good enough .
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): Relaxing study in safe surroundings. Plenty to do in local area and each access to underground. - Everything apart from the cold showers, although they were quite refreshing. I note other people commented on this, maybe we’re doing something wrong 🤔 Nothing
- Louis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - We loved this flat. The host was very quick to help us get the heating working right away. Really responsive. The pick up location for the key was a short walk away - our parents couldn't walk so far so it was good that we were there to help them get it.
- Serova (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natheepat (4/5): -no return to this place anymore - -time limit for hot shower
-toilet does’t close
-collect and drop key in different location
-I can’t drop the key because the shop not open on operate time (don’t know cause)
- Megan (9/5): Superb - The kitchen. It was fully stocked with pots and pans-- exactly what I needed. Nothing immediately comes to mind.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Qianun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): i really enjoyed my stay! I will definitely book it again. - It is clean, well decorated, great location. the hot water was only available 30 min in tkt morning and 30 min in the evening and I was not notified about it in advance
- Bernadette (8/5): Very good - The flat is really comfortable and has lots of light and the windows are double glazed and the kitchen has everything you need. Very quiet and safe street. Very close to buses and tubes that get you to the west end in 30 minutes max. Ideal for 3 people. There’s plenty of good shops within a 5-10 minute walk (e.g m&s) and good pubs. We assumed that there would be constant hot water, there wasn’t so we had to ask for instructions on how to have hot water. If the host had left/given indications that there was a timer control water heating instructions that would have avoided some cold showers.
The shop where we had to leave the keys was closed (probably due to the holidays) so we had to return to the apartment to leave the keys inside. Luckily we were not in a rush - the shop is near the station.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -

- González (9/5): Superb -
- Alessandro (9/5): Superb - Spacious flat close to the tube. Bathroom is a bit old
- Donia (10/5): Exceptional - the flat is very cozy and pleasant!
Its proximity to transport while being quiet is really a plus! The owner is really friendly and responsive. We will be happy to return :)
- Morgan (10/5): very nice apartment - very clean, easy of use, comfortable & location was perfect No complaints
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Knut (9/5): Light and comfortable flat in nice area. - Despite a bus garage close by, no disturbing traffic in this very quiet street. Right on Northern Line in "Arsenal land", and the Tufnell Park area is very cosy. Also, just a short walk up to Archway for those looking for authentic Irish pubs, nor is it too far to walk down to Camden Town through Kentish Town. Nice bedroom with a comfortable double bed a few steps down, and a sleeping coach/sofa in the living room. Kitchen with fridge and necessary facilities. Some may want to live closer to the action of central Big City London, but after walking the streets of London for a whole day, this is a good retreat. Without having to change train you are right down at Tottenham Court Road in a few minutes...
