- Li Lian (10/5): - Very convenient location. Feels safe. Room feels very modern, clean and new. The host is incredibly gracious and kind. There can some noises from the road sometimes but there are ear plugs provided.

- James (8/5): Good stay, thanks - Location, host
- Sean (10/5): Thanks for a great stay - It like a home from home. All amenities available in a convenient location with great restaurants near by. I didn’t find it sooner
- Sophie (10/5): Amazing, would stay again! - Lovely location and building, clean and we were met personally by the owner. Nothing! All superb.
- Elisa Fantino (10/5): -
- Vineta (10/5): Beautiful Shoreditch studio - Nice cozy studio apartment, great location in Shoreditch, surrounded by nice restaurants, shops, markets. Easy access to central London by buss, or nice walk.
Comfortable bed, powerful shower, small, but well functioning kitchen with everything you need.
I loved the detailed description by host about the apartment and places where to go for food and shopping- we followed the instructions and were very happy about Chrissy’s shopping path- it was like a game for us, we saw nice vintage shops, got lots of beautiful stuff in markets, and eat great food! It was very nice way to explore the area and realise how nice is London outside the routine tourist places.
Thank you so much! We would definitely stay again in this studio!!! One night out of 3 was a little bit noisy (street), but earplugs, provided by host, were very useful!
Thank you!!!

- Alister (9/5): Great location, good price and friendly host! - Bigger than it looks with kitchen and a good sized shower. Very friendly host who recommended a good restaurant locally. Nothing to report

- Jessica (8/5): Extremely comfortable beds, great location! - Very comfortable and lovely additional surprises like the tea bags and spare plugs. These things make a big difference! Very easy check in. Beds were amazing and comfortable. Location was great. Just a tad noisy with the upstairs apartment and the outside environment but that’s to be expected. Ear plugs worked a treat
- Sadie-Jane (10/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): - this property is in the perfect location! it is exactly as pictured. very stylish and comfortable. we had everything we needed!
- Peter (10/5): Great place to stay in the authentic Shoreditch neighbourhood - The apartment is centrally located in the Shoreditch district and has good bus connections in all directions. The subway station is about a 15-minute walk away. The fully furnished apartment leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to the well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, etc., it also has a washing machine.
The host, Chrissy, is extremely easygoing and has lots of great tips for her guests.
The neighborhood itself is very diverse, with countless restaurants, cafés, and shopping opportunities.
This isn't a negative point, but it's important to know that the apartment is on the ground floor and that chatting people walk by at night. Since the windows aren't particularly well insulated, you can hear this. However, there are earplugs in the room that you can use if needed. It didn't bother us much. This small drawback is made up for by the charm of this little house.

- carolyn (9/5): Cute comfortable room in great location - Clean, comfortable, great shower, fully equipped kitchen, very friendly and helpful owner. Noisy during the night
- Hillman (10/5): Great stay, good location, marvelous host. - Very convenient to the place where I was meeting friends - Smokestak. The rate was advertised at GBP 117 and it changed to GBP 154. A bit of a bait and switch.
The shutters need to be able fasten shut.
- Joseph (10/5): Great find. Will definitely try to stay there again when I'm next in London - Great location, very clean and very cute Nothing
- Anne (8/5): - Great central location, yet pretty quiet and tucked away.
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Lovely wee flat off the main road, so peaceful at night. Beautifully furnished and everything we needed for a weekend in London. Location was close to the underground so easy access across the city.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Nikola (10/5): Comfy apartment which fulfilled our needs :) - Very welcoming host! Rain shower. Dimmable lights. Sockets for USB/USB-C and EU adapters Advice for people booking:
- If you are a light sleeper, make sure to put on provided ear plugs. Occassional noise from passers-by at night.
- Bring some slippers if you can't manage a little bit of a colder floor in socks/barefoot, since the floor gets somewhat cold at night.
- Dovile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ines (10/5): Exceptional - It's perfectly located, 15 walking minutes from Liverpool Station and close to tons of bars, restaurants and stores, but still rather quiet.
Nice little apartment with great shower, small kitchen including washing machine.
I would stay here again anytime, highly recommended!
- Annette (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location for sightseeing. You really will be living a London life while here. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Best shower of anywhere we've stayed in 4months of travel. Nicely styled. Superb owner who actually meets you when you checkin. Chrissy has put together a super handy list of tips for places to visit, eat, drink, and general logistics info. Handy basics for cooking are in the kitchen, and excellent coffee. Don't expect to get much sleep here. Although tucked away in a fabulous spot, this ground floor converted warehouse is in a spot where any outdoor conversations echo loud and they happen well after midnight. If you like your sleep time dark, you'll need an eyemask as the shutters which double as curtains don't block the streetlights.
- Claire (9/5): Everything feels so good. Cozy. retro. On-spot. Artistic. - It is bigger than what is shown in picture
Chrissy is very welcoming and helpful
I love the decoration and taste of the room! The bedding is very fine and feels so nice. Love this warming lovely place! Water from shower heads are not stable and not the best showering experience.
- Claire (9/5): Very nice and cosy studio, well located in East london. Chrissy was very reactive and accommodating -

What stood out the most was the great communication from the hosts as well as their commitment to ensuring our stay was 10/10. Great location to public transportation and restaurants nearby. Chrissy was very helpful in providing us instructions on how to best get to the apartment from the airport as we had not been to London before. The owners went above and beyond to provide us with a great experience vacationing in London. N/A
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, cosy flat in the centre of Shoreditch but tucked away so it's peaceful and quiet. The host was friendly and communicative, the flat is beautifully kitted out and attractive. I've been before and I'd love to stay again.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kieran (9/5): Superb -
- Mumtaz (8/5): We stayed for 10 days and it was wonderful. - Chrissy, the owner of the apartment, is truly the best. She’s kind, helpful and did her very best to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. She was easy to contact and she gave us lots of suggestions about the best places to go and see. She was always available and it was reassuring that she and her partner live upstairs. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, clean and has everything you need and more. The location is is perfect, it’s in the middle of buzzing Shoreditch. We love to go back! We felt the bed is a bit small.
- Geeta (9/5): Superb - Location was great, lots of restaurants around. Studio was very comfortable with all the amenities you need You can hear everything from the floor above.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cosy little bolt hole, great location, really comfortable, everything you need for a short break. Great shower, spotlessly clean and cute furnishings. Hosts Chrissy and Rupert are lovely- friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. We would definitely return. Nothing!
- Jes (8/5): Lovely, Cozy Stay in Shoreditch - I loved the cozy feel, and decor. It had everything we needed ☺️ I pretty much like everything! Personally, and this is just a very personal preference, I would have been perfect if the mattress was firmer, but that’s my preference.
- Ralitsa (9/5): We had a lovely time in Chrissy and Rupert’s apartment. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They even managed to e - We loved our stay in the apartment. It was very well equipped and had everything (and even more) we could possibly want. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in (soft, but not too much) and the duvet felt like a hug. Really appreciated that there were pillows to choose from.
The kitchen was very well equipped. We only used the kettle to make tea, and the fridge to store some soft drinks, however, it had everything to prep a meal.
The weather was a bit cold, and luckily there was an extra heater to adjust the temperature to our liking. The apartment is located in a relatively quiet street, in a central location with a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. And even though this is for sure a benefit, keep in mind that drunk and loud people still pass by. As mentioned in the listing - the property is not very well isolated from outside noises. This however is pretty standard for London houses.
A small thing that we noticed was that the shower handle was a bit loose. It wasn’t really an issue, however, we worried we might break it. So just something to have a look at :)
- Jan-hendrik (9/5): A wonderful stay - I would love to come again - The apartment is very well located. Shops, restaurants, pubs, bars and public transport - all in close proximity. Sometimes a bit noisy.
- Jackson (10/5): Perfect stay in Shoreditch. - The shower was fantastic, and the hosts were generous and thoughtful.
- Gemma (9/5): Great little spot in London, highly recommend and the hosts were so accomodating - Cute studio in the centre of Shoreditch Noise from neighbours to the side and above which can’t be helped with wooden floors by moving late into the night and early morning.
- Pierre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clarence (10/5): Chrissy was a fabulous host ensuring I had everything I needed and that my stay was comfortable -
- Shunko (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant location in the heart of Shoreditch, plus was only around a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street station. Host was really helpful and great communication. Apartment was exactly what we were after for our 3 day stay. Would definitely recommend. Nothing in particular.
- Dina (7/5): Great host and close to amnesty - WiFi was awful for work. Kept buffering. No TV or chair to sit. When you are there for a week the bed is not comfortable
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - Super central and fairly quiet for the neighborhood
- Zein (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rita (9/5): Chrissy is an amazing host and accommodative. Love the interior and facilities provided. Location is perfect and I can’t - Everything about the property is excellent. The creaking sound of the wooden floor from above when there’s movement.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (9/5): Superb -
- Jodie (8/5): Great little apartment - The shower flooded and could do with some TLC
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (10/5): short but sweet - the location is 10/10 and the host could not have been more helpful.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A Gem in Shoreditch - Within walking distance (minutes) of major tourist spots (Columbia Rd Flower Market, Brick Lane), fabulous design& vintage shops, dinning and public transport.
The comfort ( great shower, washing machine, lightning) and cleanliness of the studio .
The access to an amazing host who gave us the best list of local places to eat and things to experience. Nothing
- Dina (10/5): Excellent communication, no stress and a feeling of being safe! - I travelled on my own to London and I was thrilled to find out the host lived above. Nothing was too much trouble for Chrissy and she looked after my every need. Communication was excellent. A very safe location. There was nothing I didnt like!
- Jasmine (10/5): Perfect location and lovely host - Amazing location, lovely cozy room and comfy bed, loved the shower, and the host (who lives in the apartment upstairs) was so lovely and accommodating. Would highly recommend.
- Yeonju (10/5): well-equipped and cosy - The location is amazing and Chrissy was really helpful and friendly.
I will stay here again for sure! nothing
- Anita (10/5): We had a great stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again before too long. - Chrissy was very easy to contact and very helpful in fitting in with our arrival time. The apartment was well designed and very cosy with a heater that we adjusted to suit ourselves. There was a good selection of teas and coffee in the kitchen. The bed, bedding, towels were very good quality. There is so much to do in and near Shoreditch it was an excellent base. Kitchen was very well designed and made excellent use of the space - the only (very minor) issue was that it was cold in there but as long as we kept the door closed and just nipped in as necessary/put an extra layer on it was fine. In fact, it was only because the rest of the apartment was so toasty that we really noticed it! :)
- Michel (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location! Our host was excellent and everything was perfect!
- Guy (10/5): Fantastic little studio in the best spot in town - Chrissy's place was wonderful! First and foremost, the location is insane. Right in the heart of Shoreditch and on the edge of Hackney, probably the coolest two areas of London, If you love great coffee, food, shops, street art—this is perfect for you.
The studio itself was great, much larger and nicer than the tiny hotel room you'd get for the same price. Good lighting (both from windows and lights), awesome shower, queen bed (note! UK queen—narrower than American queen), no TV cause who needs it when you're mostly out walking around. Easy to get to by bus and train around town.
Chrissy herself was so lovely, friendly, funny and helpful. We were there during a very cold December and that was our warm cozy home for a week. The bed is too soft for my liking, and made my back a bit crampy.
- Eleni (9/5): Superb -
- Yrv1 (10/5): Hope to return! - Amazing host.
Amazing location. The neighborhood itself has a great vibe and superb local restaurants. Very easy access to anywhere else in the city.
The studio has anything you would need for stays of any length. The washer/dryer and the great toiletries were a very nice bonus. The place was clean, roomy and comfortable.
The host has a list of recommended places to go for food and shopping in the neighborhood and basically we would recomment staying as long as you can and crossing off the places on this list one by one... Nothing
- Russell (9/5): Great location and a cool place to stay just off hipster central. - Fantastic location ; the place had a nice vibe to it. Host made me feel welcome and at home. Nothing
- Brett (9/5): Perfect for the solo visitor who wants to explore this lively district - Excellent location in the buzzing Shoreditch heartland, yet tucked away down a quiet lane. A ton of trendy bars and cafes a short walk away. Super friendly and helpful owner upstairs.
- יואב (9/5): Superb -
- Pandeyamit (9/5): Superb - One of the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The hospitality and the communication from the host was super helpful and friendly. Location! Well. It is a studio apartment, so you know you arw getting into a small space. Living room+bedroom is big enough. Kitchen is small. I felt like there should be curtains on the windows.
- Erin (10/5): Great stay - would return any time. - Location was amazing for walking around. Tons of shops and amazing restaurants! Very lively. Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shari (9/5): Superb - The apartment is located in a central, well connected area that allows you even to avoid to take the subway if you are keen on walking. It is well furnished, with lots of supermarkets in the nearby.
Very good value for money, considering London Cost of living.
Very nice and welcoming hosts. The only main thing is that you can clearly listen all the noises from the apartment above where the hosts live in but it's the price to pay to stay in such a nice building, that contributes a lot to the Londoners experience. And probably if you get caught by the hustle and bustle of the city, I will so much tired that you will fell asleep immediately you go to bed!
Moreover, I read about other complaints about the noisy neighborhood but we found the apartment in a quite street, even during the weekend the noise from the surroundings was marginal, near to absent.
- Tessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (8/5): great apartment and friendly host, but noisy all night - The apartment was great, it had everything it needed and the location was great, right in the middle of Shoreditch. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
The shower was awesome and the property was clean. it’s worth noting this is a ground floor apartment so people are walking right past the windows. I was a little unfortunate on the night I stayed there (a Saturday night, was busy in Shoreditch) there was a small nightclub or party literally next door which went on until 6am. The owner was very kind and gave me some great earplugs to use which worked well but unfortunately didn’t drown out the bass noise.
the floor in the above apartment is very squeaky! wasn’t a problem for me at night though.
It was also very hot that night, perhaps having a fan available would be good for hot nights.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
