• G. (3/5): - It was clean and the host were very friendly. The parking space was pretty nice but the road to the apartment is very small. Beds were too small to sleep (I'm 1m90). We were with 5 people but only two double beds (but actually not big enough for 2 persons) and one single foldable military type (but to small even for my friend, that is 1m79). The bathroom is not, would you except of a general apartment. It is a simple bathtub with no possibility to hang the showerhead. At one point it was raining, and the water came inside through the front door.

• petra (1/5): Not recommended for solo female traveller! - Location - proximity to beach Room was not as advertised, booked and paid for. Room was far smaller, had no TV and no proper window, no balcony or terrace. When stepping out of the front door I literally stepped onto the street. When I questioned this, I was abused by the host via WhatsApp and threatened to be kicked out. I escalated this to customer service as I did not feel safe.
• shtauber (6/5): - Nice view to the sea, ok location if you don’t mind of walking some stairs. The room is a bit small for 3 people. The WiFi wasn’t working well (poor connection). I couldn’t do my work call from the apartment so I needed to go to a restaurant. This was very disappointing.

• Finlay (9/5): - We had an amazing stay at Dina House. The location is great, only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The hosts are very lovely and recommended a boat tour for our group as well. The air con is great for the living room, but doesn’t work too well for the bedrooms. To be fair, it was 41 degrees when we stayed here one night.

• Donat (4/5): Zu teuer für den Standard - Der Kühlschrank war sehr Kalt für die Getränke. Die Aussicht war super. Die Mutter war eine sehr nette und herzliche Dame. Die Wohnung ist gross genug. Zufahrt war sehr eng (nicht ihre Schuld). Uns wurde von Vorhinein gesagt, falls was kaputt gehen würde, müssten wir das bezahlen. Die Art und Weise, wie der Sohn das aber gesagt hat, war eher bedrohlich. Wir haben uns deshalb in den ersten Stunden überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt damit. Die ganze Einrichtung ist sehr alt und zum Teil spröde. Es könnte jederzeit kaputt gehen. Der Sohn meinte auch, dass wir ja niemand hier übernachten lassen dürften und falls er es merken würde, wir mehr bezahlen müssten für die Nacht. Man fühlt sich so ziemlich beobachtet. Das Bad hatte ein paar sehr eklig aussehnde Flecken. Man darf das benutzte Toilettenpapier nicht herunterspülen. Die Betten waren ziemlich hart und ungemütlich (Lose Bretter als Rost und eine eher dünne Matratze) Klimaanlage gibt es nur im Wohnzimmer (eher schwach), somit ist es in den Zimmern in der Nacht ziemlich warm. Der Hang vom Strand zur Wohnung ist sehr steil. Allgemein hat es nicht dem Standart entsprochen für über 100€/Nacht.

Propre même si salle de bain vétuste Propose une place de parking non négligeable Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur mer. Ce qui n’a pas été le cas à notre arrivée. Nous avons juste voulu le mentionner à l’hôte qui a été de suite agressif à nous dire qu’on pouvait partir si on voulait (ce qui n’était pas la question). Papier toilette à mettre dans la poubelle. Pas d’articles de toilettes Pas d’eau chaude le matin Clim qui fait beaucoup de bruit Hôte pressé d’être payé dès l’arrivée, pas eu le temps de sortir toutes les valises.

• Aja (7/5): Goed maar ben bewust van de uitdaging om er te komen. Dit staat niet duidelijk vermeld. - Het heeft een Mooi uitzicht Het is hoog op de ‘ helling’ Je kunt het zelf denk ik niet vinden. Er is geen internet verbinding als je niets extra s afsluit. Je moet een goede chauffeur zijn. Je rijdt door smalle steegjes om er te komen. Als je hiervan houdt prima. Eigenaar heeft goed geholpen en opgevangen.

I've seen other reviews that said the location is not as close to the beach as described - but this is not true. There is a public set of stairs when you turn right out of the property (which don't show up on Google maps) that take you directly to the promenade No real complaints! I just would've found some cutlery and plates useful.

• David (7/5): Good - It was clean and tidy, with a nice view over the bay, near to bar's, restaurants, and most amenities, beach was near, and boat trips galore. It was hard to get into, and a lot of steps, so if you have health issues, you might find it hard, water never seemed hot, and it was noisy, but all in all a nice place

• Laylao (10/5): Perfect hosts! - Perfectly located close to the town and beaches, with just a short walk down some steps. What made the accommodation stand out though, were the hosts. Dina is a wonderful, kind hearted beautiful person who will do anything for you. And her son Tolis just went above and beyond on too many occasions to list to ensure that we had the best stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they treated us like family. Two of the nicest people we could have hoped to meet on our holiday and both will be in our hearts forever. I could not recommend Dina House enough if you want perfect hosts in Himare. Parking was a little difficult but Tolis happily helped park our car and did a great job, so don't let it put you off.

• Seth (10/5): Incredibly friendly owners make you feel at home. - Dina House is in a great location with perfectly comfortable rooms (good mattress and AC) for a beach stay. I really enjoyed talking to Dina and her son. They were both incredibly friendly and I felt like I was just hanging out with a friend rather than speaking to hotel staff. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Himarë. Privacy curtain could be a little more opaque (more so for keeping the sun out if you’re sleeping in) but that’s a minor gripe rather than a complaint.

Had an extremely comfortable stay would really recommend anyone coming to Himare to stay here, situated on the street just behind the main area in Himare. Parking is a little difficult if you have a car as the street to enter is only 1 way. However the host is able to park/drive the car out for you

DOS is high. but there is a staircase that leads to the sea. in one minute you will reach the sea, but the climb is a little difficult. for example, for overweight people or those who have problems with their legs. I didn't have any problems. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. the room is very clean, recently renovated

• Gl749 (1/5): Never again! - "When we came to the place, once inside (and after paying for 2 nights to the owner), the place stinks intensely (I suspect that it is 2-nonenal). It is unbearable - I wrote to booking at 4:30 in the middle of the night that we won't stay here the 2nd night. We did indeed leave the 2nd day. The owner didn't want to return the money for the 2nd night. I complained to booking.com, and the 2nd night disappeared from my reservation. But the money for the second night was not returned to us. This guy is a thief and a liar, so be aware. (When we arrived he was drilling in a room below us, then promising that the drilling was over. The next morning the drilling - super loud - restarted at 10:30. However, while this was super annoying, the smell was a much more serious problem.) The owner lied about the noise of drilling and the apartment had an intense, nauseating smell of 2-nonenal. He canceled our second night (on our request because of the smell and the noise) but kept the money we paid, even after the 2nd night was officially cancelled in our reservation.

• Delphine (10/5): Perfect accomodation for two days ! - Really clean and new. Comfortable bed. Fridge with freezer. Beautiful view from the terrace to the sea and beautiful garden. Owners really friendly and perfect welcoming ! Access to/from beach : GPS doesn't know there is direct staircase and propose you a long way by the streets... It's 300m from beach by the stairs. Nothing !

• Tomas (8/5): Very good - The location is very good. Quiet while close to the coast and center. The host was very nice and helpful. Beautiful view of the sea. The apartment is pretty big. Bed was comfortable. Be prepared for the feeling like you're living in someone's own apartment rather than holiday apartment. Parking was provided alright on the street, but it's only for adventurous drivers used to driving in very narrow streets. The street is dead-end, but many cars come there by mistake and drive around your parked car where just few centimeters decide about potential scratch. Washing machine shown on the picture could not be used. Kitchen was advertised but practically not provided, because water tap was broken and stove could not be used. This was big disappointment even though owner promised to fix it soon for other guests. However he totally refused giving even small discount for this inconsistency between advertised and actually provided equipment.

• Peter (8/5): Very good - The location is superb. You can walk down to the beach easily. The centre is around the corner. The Italian restaurant in front of the appartement does good breakfast. The appartement is simple but good. Nice seats outside, even with a view. The place is also not expensive. The owner is really friendly and helpfull. Really thin walls. Which normally isn't a problem, except when you have extremely loud Italian neighbours who like to talk (scream) at 2:30 in the night and 08:30 in the morning.

• Deva (10/5): Great price - Very good and welcoming hosts, and the price was excellent. The center was near, a walking distance of 3-4 minutes down the stairs, beautiful view! The road to the Dina house was being under construction and it wasn't finished, but with the help of the host it was easy to find.
