• Ellie (1/5): A joke - Please no one stay at this property, messaged them on the morning of the stay for check in information, to be told that due to a booking the day prior my booking is no longer available baring in mind I’ve already paid to stay at the property. Told me they would refund me. Haven’t seen this money since or had a reply from them at all. They avoided all calls/ messages after and left us stranded in London. So no I wouldn’t want anyone else to be put in this situation. Taken £280 from us, I would definitely avoid at all costs.

• Hayley (8/5): Perfect location and views - We had an issue with our check in, instructions were not clear on how to check in initially and because of a previous guest late stay we could not get into the apartment when needed. This would not be a problem if we did not have reservations to attend however host was helpful, allowed us into property whilst it was being cleaned. The apartment was cleaned thoroughly and in a perfect location with great views. My only observation would be that there is a lot of wear and tear on the furniture, the kitchen and the laminate flooring particularly.

• Jessikah (10/5): Can't wait to come back here! - This is our 3rd stay at this superb apartment and we will be returning. Very comfortable, clean spacious apartment with stunning views. There was nothing we didn't like, we have always have a great time when staying in this apartment.
• Björg (8/5): In general nice but could be perfect if few things where fixed. - The location was good, quiet and nice area with train station next door. So it was easy to get around the city. The apparent was nice and clean and a great view over the city. The beds very comfortable. But there were many things broken and need maintenance. there were no nightstands and a lamp next to bed. Also some. Equipment needed for kitchen. But over all very good place. Broken shower, broken doorknob’s no lamps and nightstands next to bad, broken chairs and furnitures. Also no towels to dry hands in bathroom and no dish towels or tags to clean.

• Jodene (1/5): Disappointed as the property was not fit for purpose. - The location of the property was the only positive. Very conveniently located close to a DLR station. The property not clean and we did not feel comfortable. We booked for 4 adults and 1 child. My daughter had to sleep on a couch with a pillow inner inside one of my dresses (no bedding, other than a pillow and duvet inner was provided). A total of 4 towels were provided (no tea towels, hand towels, etc.). Beware, they only provide toilet paper, nothing else! The property is in serious need of a refurb and doesn’t look like the photos. There were flies throughout the property. We had booked for 3 nights but left after 1 as we did not feel that the property was fit for purpose. I contacted the owner/manager but the WhatsApp response was deleted before I was able to read it. Definitely do not recommend.
• Wayne (1/5): In poor decorative order and poor facilities and pictures are out of date as they do not represent what you’re actually - The view at night Unfortunately, the property is dated with all the furnishings are either very old or broken first off the address given on Booking.com isn’t the address that you end up at and it took nearly 2 hours to find the apartment on arrival once arrived and as soon as we entered the apartment we found lots of defects starting with smoke detectors, bleeping, and lots of the fixtures and fittings broken or not working such as lamps, lights, parts of the kitchen units, missing floors, worn out and furniture, very old and dated not in the best decorative order I know Internet password given or available I need to iron some clothes, but no ironing board. The water pressure and hot water is limited to poor And if you wanted a peaceful night sleep, that’s very hard due to the noise of the train running right outside the apartment the planes landing at city Airport, and the traffic from the main roads outside all can be heard we left the apartment and on our return, we found the fob For the main door not to work and had to make contact with the host to get the access code which letter standing outside for sometime as a whole. I rate accommodation the apartment and facilities very poor and the pictures and information describing the apartment are out of date.

• Nicky (6/5): Could be so much better. - The location is brilliant and the views were totally breathtaking! It’s a nice flat but it could with a couple of tweaks be amazing! The property is tired and the furniture is basic and not comfortable. Some furniture needs painting or removing, bedding is stained and old, the beds are very hard, the bathrooms don’t have any ventilation and get very hot, on top of that on arrival the address on the booking is not where the flat is, the guy in that property said this happens often and it’s the next building along! Whilst booking I asked via the message system if we could check in between 12 and 1, I heard nothing at all, after 4 days I messaged back and said don’t worry we’ll come at 3pm, again I heard nothing at all, until the evening before we travelled down to London saying we could check in between 12 and 1pm. So we head over to be greeted with the fact we were not at the right address, very concerned this was a con, I called the number on the booking, left a few messages, when a guy called Mohamed called me back, he said I had checked in at the wrong time, I obviously explained, he claimed no one would check in at that time, he did apologise and eventually after one and half hours we did get to see the flat which was still being cleaned. I heard nothing more from Mohamed, but we did have somewhere to stay.

• Emma (8/5): Super view of the O2! - The view was incredible! The accommodation was comfortable, but basic. Had booked for 5 guests, and had to ask owner for bedding to make up the sofa bed, but he responded very quickly & brought the bedding over within a few minutes. (Still only had 4 towels though) Tiny table in the dining area was barely big enough for 2 or 3 people to sit around. And no tea towel to dry the dishes. Although the kitchen was reasonably well equiped. The apartment was definitely smaller than I expected, it looks bigger on the photos, but for a couple of nights no problem.

Wonderful view of The O2 arena Slightly better communication from The host. I messaged about the heating as it was on and it was too hot in the apartment. No reply and we went out for the day. When we returned we can only presume someone had been in and sorted as we experienced no further problems and the terrace doors were open on our return. No wine glasses in the kitchen

The apartment needs to be redecorated with new sofas and new curtains. The bed linen should be white and the carpet needs a good cleaning.

• Shane (10/5): Great stay for seeing a show at the O2 Arena with a wonderful view for post show chill and sleep. - Brilliant location if you’re a seeing a show at the o2 Arena, 5 min Uber ride away from the venue, great view of the river and the arena to wind down with drinks after the show and not too city centre where you can get a good night sleep. Not a bad point at all but nothing catered for food wise but that is to be absolutely expected from a room where you provide your own. (So not really a bad point at all, just a heads up if you were expecting it)

There is a local shop which is open from early to late which was really helpful. Having Canary Wharf & the city so close by made the stay feel more lively as theres so many things to do, visit and attend! The place seemed like it had a recent renovation as the amenities were top tier and was smelled very refreshing. wish i’d booked it for longer! views are not to be missed

• Zena (5/5): Fab location, but tired decor in need of a good clean. - Good location. Easy to find, close to the DLR station. Quiet with no disturbances from neighbouring apartments. Lovely views. Very tired, the tap in the en-suite was broken, the shower risers didn’t hold the shower head properly. It needed a deep clean, as light switches, windows etc were dirty. The bedding smelt strange, a bit like stale beer. Smells from neighbours smoking drugs came in through the open doors. There was a broken plant pot in one bedroom that had just been turned around. Not a full set of crockery or glassware. No tea towels, dishwasher tablets available. No welcome basket for milk , tea etc.

Also it was clean, had a very damp smell, I was out most of the time but if I was to of stayed in longer I pay have complained about the cleanliness. Host was really helpful and if I mentioned it at the time of our stay he probably would have got the cleaner in to clean.

Communication with the owner ahead of the stay was very slow and not straightforward (we tried to understand the parking situation). It would have also been good to have pro-active instructions as to where to go to receive the keys rather than having to ask for it. Cleanliness overall was good, however we found some used towels in the cupboards

• Nadine (4/5): Had high expectations for this stay but was unfortunately let down - Liked the view. That was the best part of the bnb and the location was ok because it's less than a 2 minute walk away from the DLR so fairly easy to get around. Host kindly let my friend into the home two hours early. But unfortunately place was not up to a "holiday home" standard. Cleanliness was an issue -- as soon as myself and my guest walked into the flat we noticed dirt on the walls, grime on the floorboards, shower stains on the shower walls and one of the showers was clogged so whilst showering we ended up standing in our own dirt. I contacted the host and they were very responsive and sent someone out to try to fix the situation but that shouldn't have happened to begin with. When contacted the host claimed that there was a party the night before but the dirt marks and grime couldn't have come from one group party/stay. It looked like dirt that had accumulated over weeks/months. One of the shower temperature controllers was broken so we were out of a shower due to it only releasing cold water. Host has agreed to give a partial refund due to this inconvenience. The couch in the en suite was broken and leaning to the side. All in all I appreciate the host's timely responses and willingness to salvage the situation but this home isn't in a fit state to be booked out. He says he has cleaners but they're not doing a great job as the place looks like it needs a deep clean. Also was missing basic things like oven gloves, almost burnt myself a couple of times trying to get food out with takeaway boxes. The place has SO MUCH potential to be a lux stay. Host just needs to get the place cleaned from top to bottom and maintain it better. New bedsheets/decor to spruce up the place would also help too. If you don't care to spend too much time indoors and are big on views then this place could be for you. But if you like air bnb quality homes not sure this would measure up.
• Julien (8/5): A nice long weekend in London with the buddies - Perfect spot in London, not too expensive considering that London is usually pretty expensive overall. Good communication with our host, we got 5h delay on our flight but there was still someone waiting for us when we arrived to give us the keys. The apartment is quite big, and the view from the 18th floor is just awesome. The beds are really small for tall people like us and the mattresses are not very comfortable. In one of the 2 showers, it was difficult to get some hot water. One tap was also half broken in one of the two bathrooms.
• Bun (7/5): the apartment is awesome!!! But••• - beautiful views and lovely breeze -the apartment is not clean, -noise from the plane and sky train until 1am, -the shower bath doesn’t supply hot water.
