Guest Reviews
- Jānis (7/5): -
- Marin (9/5): - perfect for those that need to attend an event at ExCel London, just 20min on foot. There are three different rooms, which makes it great option for a family or group of friends it was exactly as in the photos and matched what others had commented
- Vadims (9/5): -
- Dominik (7/5): A spacious and pleasant place - It's super spacious with a lot of rooms and a big living room and kitchen, that's a huge plus!
It's also really well-equipped so it's suitable for long trips. You have a bathroom and a separate toilet too, there's a washing machine with a dryer option, fully equipped kitchen, etc. Great for bigger families or groups of friends.
The curtains block out light well.
There's a well-equipped store nearby and a bus stop but overall, it's far from the city center and it takes some time to get there, you need to transfer to a metro.
Communication with the owner was very nice and smooth. Curtains in one room were falling off but the plus is that they are dark and you can sleep well if the light outside bothers you. The building is quite old so it can get very loud - floor and stair creaked very loudly and can wake you up if you're already asleep. If you're travelling with a baby up to 2, it's good to take your own mattress because the one provided is a simple, very hard pad for a portable travel cot. Luckily, we were informed and could pack a baby mattress.
The garden looked like it hadn't been mowed in a long time. It's a shame we couldn't sit there and make use of it.
- TeodoraDr (8/5): - The house is very spacious, with one full bathroom and another smaller one. Nice residential area. 20 min till the subway station, 5 till the bus.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eoin (3/5): Best avoided, very dated and lifeless -
- Stefanie (8/5): Decent clean house for group stay - Very suitable place for a group, it was a whole house, it was clean, there were 5 or 6 sleeping places (separate beds), just what we needed for our group. In the end I went alone because our event got cancelled. There was also a generous well equipped kitchen, and a garden, not really maintained but good enough for sitting outside. The area isn’t too exciting but that’s ok, you can’t have it all and buses stop there all the time. There is one shower, well that’s enough I think! Good value for money. Can’t really complain! I think it was pretty good. In London it’s hard to find accommodation for a group of five or six with parking space!
- Jaap (8/5): Friendly host, great location - Great host, quickly replies to any questions.
Nice garden with a picknick table outside to play games Curtains did not block out all the light, so we woke up early. But that was all good for our schedule :)
- Ceri (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional - Realy nice house, clean, greatly equiped. Just one bathroom, but two toilets.
- Catherine (7/5): Good -
- Esztella (6/5): Okay but expected more - It was indeed spacious and well-equipped. In (long) walking distance from ExCel. Check-in was very smooth. The floor was creaking really bad. Beds were not comfortable. Not too clean.
- Thom (8/5): Very good -
- Adhieu (10/5): Great stay, great hosts and good location. - Great property. Exactly as described. Hosts were very good as well, communicated with us and gave us check-in instructions that were straight forward. There’s nothing we did not like.
- Lubomir (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (9/5): Spacious, Clean & Comfortable - Clean & comfortable Everything you needed for your stay Good location Garden was a little overgrown Didn't affect our stay
- Iara (9/5): Nice and clean - House is spacious, well cleaned and fully equipped. Good to sleepover, especially if you're going to Excel only a few minutes away. It would be nice to have the garden clean and tidy. BBQ grill would be an advantage as well.
- Milos (7/5): Good - Nice ttpical London house
Clean
Equiped kitchen Extremely soft matresses. As soft as I felt down of the bed regularly
The waste drain has burst, after flushing toilet you could see the water with "other liquids" leaking in the garden
- Bahman (10/5): Very good property - The house was super clean and good smell , the kitchen was full of equipment that you need to cook , the refrigerator was clean and if you cook you can open the door at kitchen ( backyard ) the Wifi supper strong , all the rooms was having fan but the weather was super good that we did not use it , the other thing that was very convenient to us is the location which was very accessible to DLR excel ( 15 minutes walk) at the night was very quiet or any noise , and also the neighbors around the house are very lovely , especially the neighbor at house 70 greet us with smile (at the right side of the property)we defiantly come back to this place on our next trip to London , thanks a lot
- Alex (7/5): Closed to London, perfect if you want go out site seeing all day and then come back at night. - It was a 30 minute trip to central London via bus and tube. It had own kitchen and laundry. Every room had its own tv.
Parking spot. Beds were uncomfortable and there were no supermarkets nearby, only mini markets.
Not the most vibrant area.
- Daniela (8/5): quite nice - Washing maschine or dishwasher was available. Adding an extra person was uncomplicated. The area had very good connection (3 bus lines) to the tube station (Custom House), bus service very regular. Pretty quiet neighborhood. Lots of spices / kitchen stuff available. Big fridge with freezer. Additional toilet downstairs, upstairs there was a bath room with shower and bathtub there could have been a small extra towel per person available, each or us (7) had just a shower towel, but no small one for hand drying. The jalousies had a tricky technique to keep them up. some of us found the mattresses a little to soft. The key lock at the entrance was tricky, because not always all numbers were visible to key in the code. It took a few tries.
- Giovanna (7/5): Good -
- Vanessa (5/5): Passable - I would not stay again or recommend this place.
The entrance was smelly, there was no curtain in the bathtub so the water would be all over the floor... Location is far from london touristy spots...
The owner is not flexible at all in regards to check-in and check-out time, if you overstay checkout time 10am (which we didn't) but he let us know...he charges £150 per hour - I dont believe even a place in Kensington would charge that much.
- The garden looks *absolutely* nothing like in the photo, its overgrown and looks bad.
Btw if you are in a big group keep in mind that there is only one shower/bathtub in the house and its on 2nd floor.
- David (10/5): Easy of access to the DLR and the Excel Docklands - No Breakfast but the location and access for the Excel Docklands was perfect for us, during the exhibition N/A
- Sebastian (7/5): Good - the couch is broken soo we can’t sleep properly on it, the last night the hot water stop working and we can’t use the heater and we can’t take a shower.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - The house was perfect, it had everything we needed, the check in/check out process went smoothly, we will come back for sure next year!
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely big rooms , 3 large bedrooms , large kitchen with everything we needed , walking distance to excel centre , and prince regent station with fantastic links to central London , good communication and parking onsite , Everything was great ,
- Francisco (6/5): Not what we expected but still did the job - The place was very clean, the location was good, 15 minutes walking distance from a DLR station and the Excel conventions center. Also parking the car in front of the property was very handy. To be honest, this place looked much, much better in the pictures than in real life. Apart form that, The main issue I would say was the bathroom toilet which started leaking from the bottom since day one. At first we thought it was just water but then realized it was more than water... Also, I found it really annoying having to go up and down the stairs from the kitchen to the dinning table. Maybe having a small dinning table in the kitchen wouldn't hurt. Same for the master bedroom, having to go up and down the stairs to use the bathroom.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Akhil (8/5): Very good -
- Samantha (5/5): average - convenient location damp and no personal touch
- Wael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlie (6/5): Was pleasant, but neighbour noise kept us up till 2 am. - It wasn’t too far from the location needed. The sitting room was lovely, and the kitchen was pretty nice. Chairs were all comfortable. You could hear the neighbours pretty much the entire time, be it talking or walking/running. There were only three mugs, so if someone uses two mugs, or have more then three guests, won’t be enough for everyone. And can be hard to reach the top shelf, unless you’re tall.
- Roberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (2/5): never will back here - good location if you have conference in London excel - that’s all … i truly don’t recommend this place
it looks quite good on the pictures
but in reality is old house
it wasn’t clean, the beds was very old and stinky
contact with the owner is polite, but in the “English version”if you know what I mean
we wanted extended our stay (before we came there) in the end 2 days before holidays we get email that it’s not possible - but we were assured that everything was ok with our reservation for the past few weeks …
in the end we stay “homeless” in London with small kids
they call it “misunderstanding” I call it fraud
we get possibilities to stay In different place - outside tho London… and we didn’t get ANY compensation for it…
at the beginning they promise to pay for taxi etc - nothing like this happened
I don’t recommend this place
for sure will never come back
- Tamica (7/5): Good -
