Guest Reviews
- Victoria (10/5): Confortável e agradável - Beautiful house, close to nature, next to the shopping mall, complete with kitchen utensils, towels and sheets available, everything very clean. What I liked most was the room that I nicknamed the “glass room”, it’s next to the living room, I took a light reflector, while listening to the sound of the rain and admiring it through the window.💖
- Balazs (9/5): - Nagyon jól felszerelt, gépesített, világos, felújított lakás. 2 WC, 2 fürdő, 6 embernek is kényelmes, de akkor a képen látható nappali hálószobává van alakítva. Konyhában le lehet ülni étkezni.
Nyugodt, biztonságos környék. Kisbolt 200m, óriás bevásárlóközpont és metróállomás 5 perc séta. A 7. ember felfújható gumimatracon kellett aludjon, mert a konyhában lévő kihúzható kanapé alkalmatlan volt alvásra. Max 6 főig ajánlom.
- Amy (8/5): Good for a short stay where you are out most of day and budget is important. - The location was in an accessible area that was close to many different districts for easy access to the underground transit system and local sightseeing. Close to Kensington Palace and Notting Hill. Lots to see and do in the area. Lots of LIME bikes close by, which we used a lot. The area itself is a bit distressed with bars on windows and many older, large multi-unit apartments close together however adjacent to high-end, exclusive sections within the next few blocks. Not knowing the city at all, I wasn't sure what to expect. Recommend walking in groups and not alone later at night. I was on a budget - and this location worked for my budget. Photos are online are misleading, unit has different furnishings and more, lower-end, worn furnishings than photos show. No real couch to sit on, we had 5 and felt small and cramped in person. Beds were ok for a shorter stay

- Mirko (9/5): - Appartamento molto comodo e in ottima posizione
- Monika (10/5): -

- Eriona (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Furkan (10/5): Perfect stay for two families with little children - We felt like we were staying in a friend's flat rather than a booked place. All the appliances were working, the flat itself was spacious, even though we were 4 adults and 2 children, we didn't feel crammed. The location was good, it's close to Shepherd's Bush and Holland Park stations, there are many parks nearby for children, and it's within walking distance to Portobello Market. The small sofa in the living room/kitchen area was uncomfortable, and there were few sitting options besides the chairs.
- Anne (8/5): I would highly recommend this apt & would love for our family to stay there if we are back in London! - Ian was very accommodating and allowed us to drop off our bags prior to check-in and also kept them for a couple of hours on date of departure, Ian was very responsive with all correspondence. The location of the apt was very convenient for public transport and shops. It was very bright, clean, quiet, warm and well equipped with toiletries and cleaning materials which was ideal for a short stay. The extra bathroom was a bonus for a family of five adults. The seating in the living area is small but as we were mostly there mornings and late evenings it was fine. A good sized sofa bed in the bed/living area might be an idea but the extra partitioned bedroom was a real bonus so we gladly put up with the small living area!
- Rebecca (9/5): Fantastic - we would definitely stay again! - The property was really well equipped with hairdryers, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher including detergents and soaps (also teas and coffees, sugar and salt etc) so we didn’t have to go to extra expense to buy these things. The coffee machine was a bonus - Dolce Gusto - pods for sale in the co-op but if I’d known the make before I’d have taken some decaff ones with me. The beds were clean and comfortable and apartment would easily sleep six. The apartment was warm and easy to control the temperature. The neighbourhood was lovely with a stranger asking if they could help us find the apartment (turned out he lived opposite). The proximity to Westfield shopping centre was great (not my first choice but my daughter loves shopping and we were celebrating her birthday so perfect for that). The walk to both Latimer Road and shepherds Bush tube stations was easy and getting around London was fine. The area is pretty quiet for London and felt safe. There is a wee cafe around the corner (the Embassy cafe) which does amazing food and coffee and the staff were lovely. We also ordered take-out from Kathmandu Indian restaurant which was absolutely delicious. The communication with Ian was perfect - very clear and supportive but unobtrusive. I’m sure if there’s been any problems he would have addressed them quickly. If anything there is a little too much furniture but that is being picky! There were 5 of us staying so we rearranged the kitchen/living room a little and opened the partition to make it more sociable.
- Curtis (8/5): Very good -
- Chantal (8/5): Great value for money - The apartment is very nice and comfortable, especially if you’re travelling as a group. The location is good even though it’s a bit off the centre. Some of the rooms and the terrace were a bit messy and the cleaning should be a little improved, especially in the bathroom.
- Deidre (5/5): Disappointing apartment - The location was great No lounge chairs for more than 2 to sit in.
Inconvenienced and promised a partial refund that has not arrived.
Time taken by owner to get back to me on issues.
Bathroom cleanliness not up to standard expected.
No dishwasher tablets.
- Shehrazaan (6/5): For our first stay in London it was pleasant and the location of the property is very good. - The location was ideal. Close to amenities and public transport The place wasn’t as advertised. We booked specifically because it was supposed to have 2 bathrooms and there was on one useable bathroom. Not very clean. Poorly maintained.
- Mikołaj (8/5): good apartment - Very nice. Clean, pleasant, relatively quiet. Approximately 10 minutes to the nearest metro station. Equipment - everything you need. The laundry in the dryer was slightly under-dried - I think it was spare sheets (we dried them :). I advise you to close the windows before going out. while we were away we had a visit from a squirrel :)
- Khawlah (5/5): Acceptable - Good price to have flat with 3 bedrooms in london, the access was clear and easy The flat in third floor, no elevator, there is gas smell all the time in the neighborhood, the certains in bedrooms Do not block the sun's light.
- Jessica (7/5): Good - Great location, good facilities. Good instructions to get in. Perfect for the group of 6. Pictures made it look bigger than it was, the room with the leather couch actually became the 3rd bedroom. Balcony was a bit rugged.
- Dirk (8/5): Great for a long weekend in the city - Good for 6 people, good furniture , 8 minutes walk to tube, safe area Bathrooms were not cleaned properly
- Chonnur (8/5): Good stay for a family of 6 - Property was at a great location. Good value for money Cutlery was not kept clean
- Ramli (9/5): Superb -
- Rand (9/5): Superb - Host hospitality, cleanness of the unit, and location is close to essential needs and transportation. No elevator, early checkout time
- Shawn (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (6/5): Pleasant - The apt had enough room for everyone and good appliances plenty of crockery. When we arrived the apt had not been cleaned we did get it sorted but it meant we had to stay out of the apt for 3hrs whilst it was cleaned and some light bulbs replaced. The front bedroom never got warm radiator was not working there was a little heater but it didnt really warm the room up. The mattresses were a little soft for everyone. The area was not very good should not be advertised as Notting Hill it is Shepherds Bush
- Anonymous (9/5): Warm, bright and cozy apartments with a beautiful view and large windows - spacious, bright and practical for living the floors could have been cleaner
- Ieva (4/5): All in all, I cannot recommend this apartment, as the level of cleaniness is really important for me, and in this case i - Not much to like about the apartment. The location was good for reaching Central London by bus or tube, Westfield 10min away, few small grocery stores nearby, you can reach beautiful Notting Hill by foot. The owner was responding to our messages, but it did not help, just before the last night, 10.30pm he brought us a heater, so at least we slept the last night quite well, although the wind was still blowing through the 'closed windows'. When we entered, it looked like it wasn't cleaned at all. It was disgusting. Dust was all over the tables, lamps, night tables, etc. The guest information book had mold on the pages. The beds had hair all over. The sinks had unknown stuff inside the metal drainage. The toilet had chemicals poured on it, but still looked very dirty. Everything needs refurbishing, part of the chairs are broken, the tap in the bathroom is broken, water in the shower is not draining down properly. Cupboard in the kitchen are full of stuff, who knows how long the food has stayed there, full of repair materials, paint, brushes, etc. The worst parts were sleeping in the room near the kitchen, which has windows all around, it was freezing, you had to sleep with proper clothes on. The radiators in that room and the kitchen were not working, winds were blowing through the windows, even though they were closed. Also the part where the owner entered the apartment without asking if we are OK with it, the night before us leaving, at 10.30pm, he brought a heater, we said we'll come downstairs to take it, he came right in the apartment, walked to the bedroom with shoes on, put the bag with the heater right on our bedsheets, started checking the radiators, put stuff in his closets for the cleaners, changed the guest book. It was uncomfortable and unexpected, mostly because no one even asked if we are good with it at 10.30pm.
- Tal (7/5): Great location. The owner need to improve - Location. Nice and large apartment. Appliances are from top brands. Check in was scheduled to 1600. We informed of early arrival and asked to leave laugagge. No one was at the apartment. There was a problem with cleaning but we were not informed. We were allowed to leave luggage at 1500. Cleaning was complete at 1915. I expected to be informed of the problem. I could have adjusted my plans.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Naomi (8/5): A well equipped apartment - A big apartment fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, kitchen facilities. 2 toilets and bathrooms. There is a porch. The supermarket is nearby. Good wifi. There are desks in every living room, closets. The neighborhood is quiet. Very close the Westfield mall. Third floor - hard with suitcases as there is no elevator
Tube is a 10 minute walk
Neighborhood a bit dirty
Sofa in the living room was very small
Tv did not work
Not enough light in the kitchen
Bathroom window was impossible to close
In order to keep the doors open you need to use a blocker, that's annoying
The host sent us an old code to enter the apartment and we had to wait for him to answer until we could get in. We were with small children and it was not a nice feeling to wait near the closed door.
- Johannes (9/5): Superb -
- Marika (7/5): Good - Very well equipped apartment and the accessability was good. Great service and contact with the host. The cleaning wasn't sufficient.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Stephanie (8/5): perfect for family vacation in London - lovely large apartment, perfect for large family.
we enjoyed the facilities around as large mall with restaurants or access to the subway.
front of a nice park that give you quiet time on the balcony. bathroom but old - located 3 floors no elevator
- De (9/5): Great spacious and comfortable apartment for families - Spacious 3-bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood, the rooms very comfortable, kitchen appliances also seemed new. there were several a public playgrounds nearby for the kids. We really liked our stay here Dinner table was small for our family of 6, and one of the bathrooms needs maintenance, but overall everything was fine
- Sai (7/5): It is okay for young couples - The owner is very responsive and clear with instructions. The property is very close to Westfield which has everything and various options for food. The park next to property is also good for young kids. We’ve paid premium price for our stay during Easter weekend. Well, London is roaring with expensive prices that week so we got for somewhat okayish price although higher than usual. Upon reaching to the property we got to know “The access to property is only through stairs”. It’s on 3rd floor which was a bit difficult to climb with young family and an elder person after a long day of walking around visiting places. But atleast we could leave the pram near stairs with no issues as entry door has code lock. I wish this was mentioned in the description.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (6/5): Pleasant - No Lounge area! Small sofa for family of four not really practical and the space for it too!
Mattress in second bedroom on a slant!
Hairs round sofa on the floor and bathroom not clean around shower screen
- Husain (10/5): best apartment ever - the full facility apartment and the location and really the quick response from the owner IAN he is really so nice man and let us to check in early also he was so helpful and informative regard any thing needed in the apartment nothing
- Manurung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruno (7/5): clean confortable cosy place - The owner flexibility. He allowed us to check in earlier. The location was not the best. but this is our fault we should have checked.
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Dario (7/5): Good -
- Vikki (8/5): This place was very nice in a great location with a VERY responsive host which is equally important - We arrived in London before the check-in time. Ian allowed us to drop our bags while the cleaners were cleaning so we could get out to explore. She let us in so we didn't learn then, that the code we had for the lock box didn't work. When we arrived back at 10pm and couldn't get in, we were concerned we couldn't get ahold of anyone - it was after 10pm. Ian answered our call right away and gave us a new code which worked.
The beds were super comfortable. I often times have trouble sleeping away from home but I slept great the whole time. The apartment is SO QUIET - from room to room, but also from outside noise. Even with windows open the outside is pretty quiet at night but once you close the windows, you don't hear anything at all.
The host provided fans in each room. I use one for white noise at night so this was GREAT for me!
This location is great - super close to public transit (once we figured out how to decipher public transit that is) It is quite a distance to tourist hotspot areas of London; Tower of London, the Abbey, The Shard, etc. This was great for once we got back and had the peace and quiet, but it made for long commutes each day. If I had it to do over, I'd spend longer days in the touristy area, packing a bit more each each day which would have allowed us to stay in the Nottinghill area to explore things closer to home.
The walking paths behind the unit, take you over to the mall in less than 5-10minutes. The White City uses the path to the right (as you look at the mall) and the Shepherds Bush station is out to the left - literally faster to walk there than to ride the busses over. Both paths have pedestrian footpaths over the roads.
There wasn't really anything "bad" about the apartment itself - just a couple things I would suggest the renters have in mind upon arrival - but that's it. This was a great place to stay!! **The lockbox code in our email did not match the code on the box which is why we had problems getting in. We should have checked the code when we dropped our bags.
**The tub in the main bathroom is very deep and a bit difficult to get in/out of - especially whet it's wet. It's a great tub... just be extra mindful.
**The area outside isn't well lit and there were a couple stones near the front door that need to be replaced - they have collapsed which created a hole one could step in if they didn't see it in the dark.
**This is a preference thing - I would prefer a multi-cup coffee maker rather than the individual pod/cup brewers - it's more convenient when travelling with multiple coffee-drinkers, BUT MAINLY - we did run out of the pods that were supplied and had difficulty finding them in the plain flavor as they weren't sold in the little stores nearby. We had to go to the bigger stores which made it an event. Not a huge deal, just know you might want to stock-up on the flavors you like when you pass the Waitrose at the mall.
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Faisal (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): Good location, good value per money - they let us leave the baggage at the property earlier as our check in was only at 3pm. the photos shows a bigger living room, but part of the living room is one bedroom. So it’s a 3 bedrooms apartment with a really small living room/kitchen, it’s no problem but it would be good to have an idea of it through the photos before. The shower of one of the toilets doesn’t work very well, the water goes from hot to cold all the time.
