The propery is not very well kept curtains rail hanging off the wall. Windows cracked bed missing slats and uncomfortable. There waa also a moldy lasagna in the microwave.

• LAURA (4/5): Seul l’emplacement vaut le coup - L’appartement est très bien situé, à côté du métro, resto, bar, café pas loin. Pas de bruit la nuit. La lumière du couloir est resté allumé toute la nuit, la porte d’entrée est vitré donc dormir avec la lumière en plein visage ce n’est pas agréable. Personne nous a répondu pour régler ce problème. Les ustensiles de cuisine était sale, une casserole rongée par la sauce tomate. Le tapis de douche était bien vieux. Le chauffage impossible de l’éteindre. L’escalier était envahi par une odeur désagréable. Les lits ne sont pas confortable. Nous avons trouvé cela cher pour l’appartement en question.

• Anebi (1/5): Unconducive and unsafe accommodation. - The Mayfair Flat accommodation was in a terrible state, it stinks right from the entrance door through the stairs and everywhere in the rooms. The furniture are so old and dusty, quite untidy setup. The curtain blinds falling from the hold, mould on the stairs and even cobwebs by the entrance door. Also online says it's a 1 bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed, that's not the case, it's 2 separate rooms, 1 is supposed to be the living area and has a double old fashion bed in it and the second room has similar old fashion bed and both rooms stink, more especially the room with the bathroom. The bathroom and the entire place looks like they haven't been cleaned for months as dust has settled on the TV and wooden surfaces and the windows. The stairs is steep and quite a safety hazard to everyone as it's tiny and steeps with a lot stored on the stairs on every floor. Truth be said, this property shouldn't be listed on Booking.com. Everything about it, from the entrance of the stairs was a terrible smell right into the rooms and bathroom. The setup was a total off with dusty iron and hair drying lying fallow on the supposed tv stair It was unsafe and unconducive to stay in. I left the flat to look for another accommodation that night as I felt unsafe and quite unhygienic to lay on the bed nor use the bathroom.

• David (4/5): Buena ubicación, pero necesita mejorar limpieza y mantenimiento - El apartamento cuenta con una ubicación excelente, muy céntrica y a pocos minutos de prácticamente cualquier punto de interés. La zona es muy bonita, con calles agradables, gran variedad de restaurantes y lugares cercanos como Green Park, además de buenas conexiones de transporte público (autobuses y metro). La atención también fue positiva: el señor que nos atendió telefónicamente fue muy amable, y la recogida de llaves se realiza en el restaurante del mismo edificio, donde el camarero también fue muy atento. Como punto a favor adicional, el apartamento dispone de lavadora, lo cual resulta muy práctico durante la estancia. En cuanto a los aspectos negativos, considero que hay varios puntos importantes a mejorar. Durante la noche sufrí picaduras de chinches, despertando con más de 20 picaduras (adjunto imágenes), por lo que sería necesario realizar una desinfección adecuada, especialmente en ropa de cama y mantas. El baño, aunque funcional, presenta una distribución poco cómoda: la lavadora está situada justo frente al plato de ducha, lo que dificulta entrar y salir sin golpearse. Además, la ducha no cuenta con soporte para la manguera, obligando a sostenerla manualmente. En la cocina, la limpieza podría mejorar considerablemente. La tostadora estaba en muy mal estado, y tanto los utensilios como el microondas presentaban un nivel de suciedad notable. En resumen, repetiría la estancia únicamente si se solucionan estos aspectos, ya que el apartamento tiene mucho potencial y con un poco más de cuidado y mantenimiento podría ofrecer una experiencia mucho más satisfactoria.

A lot of broken window panes, broken blinds, ripped dirty throw pillows, flat pillows. Staircase is very dirty, carpet very outdated and a LOT of junk on the landings. Bedroom has no light. Someone has to come to fix electrical problem. It's not the bulb that is the problem, but electrical. Staircase switch is not working.

• Nahida (3/5): I will never recommend to anyone. - The best part of our stay was the location. The staff were helpful, and we really appreciated their support. We contacted the owner for an early check-in and, fortunately, were able to reach him via WhatsApp. He kindly allowed us to check in early—thank you so much for that! Unfortunately, the condition of the property was very disappointing. We honestly don’t know how the building is still considering as hotel, as it is in urgent need of renovation. The beds were in poor condition- one was nearly broken, and another had a mattress that sagged significantly in the middle. One mattress didn’t even fit properly, with parts of it missing. Staying there with a toddler was extremely uncomfortable. We even considered changing hotels, but the booking was non-refundable. Sadly, we would not recommend this place to anyone. It felt like a waste of money.

Located on the same street are some pubs restaurants and a convince shop which we where able to leave our luggage for a small cost after checkout till late in the afternoon (our flight back home was at 21:00). Ο χωρος σε γενικες γραμμες μπορει να ηταν καθαρος αλλα υπηρχαν σημεια που ηταν πενταβρωμικα, οπως οι πορτες , το τζαμι του ντους και αλλες λεπτομερειες που φαινονται και δινουν την αισθηση ελλειψης καθαριοτητας. Θα μπορουσε να ειναι καλη λυση για διαμονη στο κεντρο για λιγα βραδια μονο για εναν υπνο, αλλα επισης υπαρχει σοβαρο προβλημα ηχομονωσης. Τα παραθυρα ειναι παλια και καποια τζαμια ειναι σπασμενα, συνεπως ολο το βραδυ ακουγοταν τρομερη φασαρια από εξω. Ισως βοηθησει η χρηση ωτοασπίδων, αλλα αυτο δεν ειναι λυση. Επισης αν και οχι τοσο σοβαρο, υπαρχει πολυ ασχημη μυρωδια φαγητου κατα την εισοδο στην πολυκατοικια.

• Franco (4/5): Never again - I appreciated the quick response from the property team—they fixed the heating and hot water promptly. The linen and towels were also very clean and frosty white. The apartment wasn’t cleaned well, not all cutlery to make meals, the mattresses were uncomfortable, and the shower glass looked neglected. The entrance door felt insecure, and there were no basic cleaning tools. Even the building’s main areas looked dusty and untidy .

Escalera de acceso con moqueta con muy mal olor y humedad. Ropa de cambio de sábanas acopiada en los rellanos de la escalera que impedían el tránsito. Se ven cucarachas grandes y negras al entrar. Puertas de acceso al edificio y al apartamento muy inseguras. Apartamento con elementos rotos: ventanas que no abren, caldera pierde agua, no funciona extractor de cuarto de baño, tampoco algunos enchufes. Suciedad en alfombra salón, armario donde se oculta la caldera (tal vez no funciones en modo calefacción), interiores de armarios cocina, cucarachas pequeñas y marrones y manchas de humedad en el cuarto de baño. Sin utensilios de cocina básicos tales como tenedores, vasos de agua, platos hondos, sartén o cazo.

Stay: from 16/10 to 23/10 We are sending this complaint at booking not only because we are requesting a refund, but also to prevent other guests from experiencing the same problems we had. The apartment cost us €935, a very high price, but we chose it because it included a kitchen, thinking it would be worth it. Unfortunately, the kitchen was completely unusable: the only two pots were covered in burnt-on dirt, the dishes and utensils were left out and full of dust from previous guests, the kettle and toaster were rusty and dirty, and the fridge had never been defrosted.
Because of this, we had to buy ready-made food or spend additional money eating out. The second major issue concerned the bedroom.
In front of our door there was a bright LED light from the stairwell that we couldn’t switch off. Since the door was made of glass, a lot of light entered the room at night, making it almost fully illuminated. In addition, the bedroom window did not close properly, so not only was it cold, but all the noise came in — people at the bar in the evening and roadworks starting from 6 a.m.
There was also a boiler right next to the bed, constantly making loud noises day and night.
Because of the light, cold, and noise, it was impossible to sleep. One day we were so exhausted that we didn’t even go out and tried to rest during the afternoon. Another major problem was discovering that the washing machine did not work. We had counted on using it and didn’t bring many clothes, so we were forced not to do any laundry and in some cases had to wear dirty clothes again.
These three issues were extremely serious for us, especially considering the high price we paid. For this reason, we are requesting a refund.

La ducha estaba sucia y no trabaja, los colchones están viejos, el suelo está todo roto y la cocina muy sucia. En la habitación hay una puerta que se abre un poco pero no se sabe a donde da. • dlcglobal (5/5): Very convenient stay for 3 nights in Mayfair nearby our conference but only OK for a short-term stay - For the location - in Mayfair 500m from Berkley Square and right next door to some great restaurants and pubs - the flat is great and we basically only used it for somewhere to sleep. The flat is spacious and light with 2 double beds so suitable for 4 adults. The whole flat should be completely refurbished but there was hot water for the shower and sinks, the fridge was cold and, although the flat generally was a bit tired and shabby, the bed clothes were fresh and clean and the beds were comfortable. So the flat is in a great location and perfectly OK provided you only need somewhere to sleep for a few days. Toaster and kettle work. Did not try the microwave. Pros: Basic but comfortable and clean beds. Hot water. Cold fridge. Location in Mayfair with plenty of great pubs and restaurants nearby. Price, given location. Perfect for a short stay where you only need somewhere to sleep. In absolute terms, it needs a strip out and refurbishment. Some of the electrical sockets don't work and there were no plugs in either of the sinks, although the hosts did provide us one when we asked, along with a multi extension socket. The carpets in the entrance hall and stairs are very old, worn and dirty: there is a bit of a damp smell when you come in the front door to the building and the entire carpet needs replacing. There are 2 old electric hobs which didn't work when we arrived but the hosts fixed that. However, you won't be doing any cooking here since there are no cooking utensils or pans, just some plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery. The floor is tongue-and-groove but there are some gaps here and there where the planks have slipped: this, too, needs replacing as does the rug in the kitchen / diner. Cons: Old and shabby and needs refurb plus new carpets and rugs. Some electric sockets don't work. Washing machine does not work. No good for longer-term stay to actually live in. Washing machine didn't work. Carpets and rugs need replacing. Apartment needs overall refurbishment. So 4/10 for the actual flat plus another 1/10 for the location/price.
• Doriana De Lise (4/5): Basta poco per migliorare - La posizione tranquilla e la vicinanza al centro, in 10 minuti a piedi attraversando Green Park si arriva a Buckingham Palace. Supermercato Tesco a un minuto e ristoranti vari sotto casa. Una puzza terribile dal bagno. La pulizia scadente, ma soprattutto la cucina, composta da due fornelli, non funzionante. Solo il microonde era ok, ce la siamo cavata con quello. Quanto alla TV non siamo riusciti a sintonizzare alcun canale. Queste cose quando si viaggia con bambini sono fondamentali, ma soprattutto se sono elencate tra i servizi mi aspetto di trovarle funzionanti.

TODO UN HORROR, sucio mal oliente, con bolsas al intentar acceder, olor a comida, cucarachas, vajilla llena de residuos, ducha con suciedad, muebles rotos, cortinas rotas, paredes y suelo sucio. La puerta de entrada no cerraba. El acceso fatal, no indican dónde recoger las llaves está en un callejón que no encuentras. No me gustó nada. Nada que ver con las fotografías. No se puede utilizar la cocina, no cumple las normas de sanidad. Suciedad por todos lados, sobre todo n cocina y baño.

• Lorenza (7/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento per due settimane. Tra gli aspetti positivi segnalo la posizione molto centrale, in una bella piazzetta con ristoranti e locali attorno. Il prezzo è decisamente economico rispetto alla media londinese e lo spazio interno è ampio, caratteristica non sempre facile da trovare in città. Ci sono però anche diversi aspetti negativi da considerare: l’ingresso del palazzo era spesso sporco e con cattivi odori provenienti dai ristoranti circostanti; la pulizia interna era appena sufficiente (comunque in linea con lo standard medio inglese); il pavimento presentava parti dissestate; la lavatrice non era funzionante; inoltre c’era parecchio rumore fino a tardi la sera e già dal mattino presto, oltre a un forte inquinamento luminoso proveniente sia dalle scale condominiali sia dall’esterno. Va comunque riconosciuto che il locatore è intervenuto nei primi giorni sostituendo l’aspirazione del bagno che non funzionava e fornendo il necessario per le pulizie. Inoltre, dopo una trattativa tramite Booking, ha riconosciuto un rimborso per il problema della lavatrice. In conclusione, l’appartamento può essere una soluzione economica e comoda per chi vuole stare in centro, ma è bene arrivare preparati a qualche disagio. Consiglio di portare una mascherina per dormire meglio la notte e magari tappi per orecchi se vi da noia il rumore.
• David (5/5): - La ubicación es excelente. A pocos minutos del palacio Buckingham. Cerca de Piccadilly Circus. Necesita reforma en general y mejorar la seguridad de la entrada. Las sábanas estuvieron limpias pero no usamos la ducha debido a su estado. Tampoco los utensilios de la cocina.
• Antonio (1/5): Se que lo vais a reservar por el precio, pero no compensa… - Prácticamente nada En general todo. Para empezar nos toco ir a recoger las llaves del apartamento a un hotel que estaba a unos 25 min en transporte público del alojamiento. Y luego la limpieza brillaba por su ausencia. Las camadas incómodas a más no poder, te clavabas hierros del colchón, literalmente al tumbarte. La ducha y la cocina bastante sucias… ni una tostada nos pudimos hacer porque estaba todo sucio… Enfin bastante desagradable la estancia allí la verdad
• Alcalde (5/5): Excelente ubicación, el resto deja que desear - En la parte de las escaleras para entrar al departamento había mucho olor desagradable, y departamento no está en muy buenas condiciones. Sin embargo, la ubicación es inmejorable. Y por ese precio, volvería a ir La limpieza de las escaleras, y las condiciones del departamento en general.

• Barbara (6/5): Aufgrund der Lage und des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und dem Zeitraum für London würde ich jederzeit dort wieder buchen - Die Lage war hervorragend, unheimlich zentral, zu allen wirklich wichtigen Dingen, gut laufbar zum Buckingham Palace und auch Oxford Street. In der Straße sind mehrere Lokale, es ist immer was los, was eher attraktiv als störend war. Die Ausstattung war okay, wenn man dort nur schlafen möchte. Die Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte auf jeden Fall deutlich sauberer sein, Betten, Bettwäsche und Bad, waren aber okay
• Linda (8/5): Excellent location, central to city and handy to Hyde Park. - Being able to collect keys from a local place was convinient. It was a busy bustling street below with restaurants and bars and it was Saturday night, so it was noisy upstairs from that. But we went out to dine too.

• Nicola (7/5): A good budget option in a great location - This flat is in a great location, 7 minute walk to Hyde Park, so anyone attending an event there should give it consideration. I thought the price charged was fantastic for central London. The accommodation was loads bigger than I expected as well and the staff helpful and accommodating with early check in request. To be fair, we weren't expecting the accommodation to be luxurious because of the price. Furnishings and cooking facilities are aged and basic and our shower had a broken holder, but the water was piping hot with good flow and the sheets and towels appeared well laundered. Access stairs are steep and a bit grubby, so won't be for everyone. It is more 'backpacker' than prestige, but as a safe place for a couple of nights in a really good spot I think it's a fair option.

• Mike (5/5): Good location. - Good location surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. Close to Green Park station and bus stops. Reasonable price for Mayfair. Poor maintenance of the apartment. Dark bathroom with failed lights. Need to get a new cleaner.

• Paul (1/5): Laid towel on pillow and bed, slept in my cloths, could not bare the thought of getting in the bed. YUCK - Nothing 1: Laundry and cleaning materials stored in each level of landing up the stairs casing a fire and escape risk. 2: smelt bad 3: dirty 4: bed broken, floor broken, 5: entrance door to flat was internal door, not fire compliant. 6: entrance door was glass and the stairwell lights could not be turned off so light pollution all night long. 7: tea bags looked like they had been kept in someone’s pocket. 8: walk and light switches very dirty
• Vikki (1/5): Avoid this place - The location is the only good thing about it The first thing was the smell that hit you as you open the main door downstairs. I had a trolley with me and can imagine most people have a case but 3 flights of stairs and each stairwell being blocked by linen bales was ridiculous. I had to empty my trolley as too heavy to get over the linen and go up the 3 flights several times. The hygiene of the flat was terrible. The sheets were clean but that was the best thing. I know it was a budget venue but cleanliness costs nothing

• Alex (1/5): Horrible place! - The only thing positive is the location. **PLEASE READ!!** Please read this review before booking, and read other reviews as well. They say they have 3 stars, and they should have minus to be honest. The employee is a liar and kept blaming someone else when it was actually him doing everything, the stairway to the apartment smell horrible! There was a big bag of dirty laundry sitting there and they just moved away because I told them I would put out in the street! The door lock doesn’t provide any sense of security at all(broken and screwed together), floor is going apart and is dangerous, toilet seat was cracked and could brake anytime, bathroom smelled like a public toilet, holder for the shower is been broken for months, the bed is so unconfortable that is nearly the same as sleeping on the floor! The lack of cleaning was clear as the moon, really really poor! Windows, floors, sinks, shower, everything in really poor cleaning state, wash machine broken in all 3 apartments they have, there is hoover as they state there is. I would never ever stay or recomend this place to anyone! Specially if is a family with small children or someone that have any kind of allergies or respiratory problems. It was such a poor and below quality that I am in contact with booking.com to try getting a refund! In the end the property said I didn’t complain, and I had proof I had written countless times to them and 2 different employes, so they just lie! This is such a bad behaviour and respect with customer that I dare to say this property owners are very close to scaming people to take their money! I would think twice before booking this place.
• Lynda (3/5): Inadequate - Location was excellent. Many bars and restaurants close by. Short walk across Green Park to Buckingham Palace. Bedding and towels were excellent. Bed was OK. The condition of the rooms was below adequate. The flat was grubby, the kettle was unusable as it was rusted up inside. The shower tray was stained brown. The sink area was very grubby. The whole flat could do with a spruce up. The steps to the room were very steep and narrow. The stair carpet was old, grubby and dirty. There were items stored on each stair landing, making it difficult to carry up suitcases. Not up to Booking.com normal standards.
• Adams (3/5): Dirty flat. Great location. Low priced - Location was great. Above a fab restaurant. Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable. Complimentary tea (not that I'd use their mugs) shampoo and soap. Overwhelming stench of rotting something? Flats on the 1st floor. We had to run up two flights of stairs holding our breath, was actually sick from the smell in the building. Toilet rolls holding up windows, we shoved the chairs in there to let more air in/let smells out. All cutlery in the cupboard had food on them. All skirting needed bleaching, floors needed mopping, dust collections under bed in the bedroom. Walls need washing down, everything sticky other than the bedding. The shower goes hot and cold.The lock to the flat doesn't feel very safe, mum and I put a table in front of it and shut ourselves in the front room for the night. Kitchen mixer tap just runs warm so we didnt drink the water. Great location, low priced for a reason. We got so drunk just so we could deal with it 😂
• Robert (9/5): Convenient flat near Buckingham Palace - The location was amazing. The flat was very comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed. The staff were very accommodating with checking in. The water pressure was great and there was always hot water. The bathroom lighting was a little too dim. The light above the mirror didn't work. The hanger for the shower handle was broken.
• Glyn (2/5): Absolutely filthy - Location amazing, but the smell from the restaurant under flat was disgusting This flat was absolutely filthy!!! The smell waking up the dirty stairs was like nothing I have ever experienced. The beds were so uncomfortable, the toilet and shower was a complete disaster this place should never be allowed to be rented to human beings!!!
• Claire (5/5): You pay for what you get. This is a superb location and you would normally pay 5 x this price to stay here. I knew there - Great location. Whilst sheets clean, rest of place did not feel like it was. Hallway had a terrible smell and a saw a cockroach one night.
