• Martinovic (10/5): Odlican apartman! - Apartman je fantastican, moderno sredjen i opremljen. Domacin je ljubazan. Lokacija je idealna za potpuni dozivljan grada. Izdvojila bih terasu, najbolja je!
• Alan (8/5): Lovely place in a lively and energetic urban neighborhood - Lots of space. Well appointed and stocked kitchenette. We loved the patio and spent a lot of time there over coffee and a glass of wine in the afternoon Sometimes a bit noisy from neighbors. And though forewarned, the three flights of stairs were tiring (we are in our 70s)

• Sophie (8/5): Très bien dans l'ensemble - Accueil excellent de Vito, grande terrasse, appartement spacieux, calme. Lit confortable. Salle d'eau avec savon, champoing et tout le nécessaire. Cuisine avec huile vinaigre poivre sel....etc Le metro et des petits commerces à 2 pas. C'est très pratique. Ne convient pas à tout le monde: 2 grands étages à monter à pieds. Manque d'une autre couverture pour le lit. Pas de télévision, ni de micro-onde, ni de partie congélateur, ni de four, ni de lave vaisselle. Ce n'est pas grave si on part en visites du matin au soir et qu'on mange au resto. Cela peut gêner après 4/5 jours.

• Laura (10/5): - The appartment is comperatively close to the centre, Metro station, it has fully equipped kitchen, which is very important for staying with children, it has a good conditioner which is crucual in a hot Italian summer. Very friendly and helpful host. Friendly, personal and helpful reception.

• Diana (10/5): Fab location apartment,with an amazing outside space. - For sun lovers ,the all day sun on the terrace is a big bonus in Naples,as there isn't a nice city beach to sunbathe.The location of the apartment is at the top of Toledo.It is a very easy walk down this main shopping street,which eventually leads to the sea front.Look in the boutiques at the top,near the apatment,things get more expensive as you progress down.Just a 2 min.walk from the apartment is the Metro,lots of coffee shops(Bar Materdei was our favourite,the young lads serving in there were good fun) ,a fantastic Salami/cheese and bread shop(which also sold fresh milk for my cup of tea)and a famous Pizza Restaurant 'Starita',just a couple of minutes walk. Maybe a sun lounger on the terrace would be good.

• Darrell (9/5): Great place, minor drawbacks - Vito, the host, met us on arrival, after a brief conversation that he needed us to meet later in the day. He was very helpful in getting our luggage up to the flat (3rd floor walk-up, NO lift in the building). Vito's place is spacious, pretty well situated and he is a very good communicator. You cannot beat the location in Materdei because you are in the HEART of day to day life for people in the area. It's a short walk up to the nearest Metro, and one of the most famous pizzerias is literally around the corner! Vito provided us with lots of local information (metro lines, sights, must visit places), and he had maps for guests to carry along. The kitchen set up, while small, was adequate. The BEST feature of the place is the terrace. We enjoyed our coffee out there daily. And once we got our laundry wash on (by hand) there were two drying racks to stand up on the terrace. The neighbors in the building are nice, and they really don't make too much noise (**note that this stay was in the days proceeding the national championship games in which Napoli took the title). The bathroom is also nicely situated. Shower drain was only a bit slow but AMPLE hot water. And with Vito's help, we had a taxi awaiting our departure, on time and right outside the door. The black out shades are also a HUGE boon for sleeping in near total darkness, and relative quiet. There is a rechargeable dust buster in lieu of an actual vacuum cleaner (bearing in mind that I am a neat freak-Diana), and a mop but no cleaning solution in the apartment was found. Many thanks Vito! Minor issues: while surface clean, none of the pots and pans were actually clean. There was a PERSISTENT odor of sewer gas, which is part and parcel for the age of the buildings. We knew there was no lift but the 3 sets of stairs made for a daily trek up and down. Lastly, while nicely decorated (beautiful art work, lights, etc.) the bed is very lumpy and uncomfortable, plus it smelled like the last occupants. I did take the covers off and allow them to air outside in the sunshine, which improved them slightly. Not deal breakers but just things to be aware of, and plan accordingly. We opened up the apartment several times a day to help mitigate the sewer odors, and the airflow made quick work of the funk. More cleaning equipment (another sponge, products for the various surfaces) would be nice.
• Dragan (10/5): Exceptional - If you're looking for a cosy and comfortable flat in Naples, look no further! This flat is the perfect place to stay while exploring the city. The location is just steps away from the bustling streets of Naples. The flat is clean, well-maintained, and has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The terrace is fabulous, but due to rainy days in January, we did not get to use it as much. The host is friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this flat for anyone looking for a great stay in Naples!
• Igor (10/5): A cozy place to stay for a small family, conveniently placed in a central neighbourhood with an authentic genius loci - It is a modern looking apartment in an old Napolitan building, with a great terrace, and our small family have enjoyed a week stay in February. The host was very professional and friendly, welcomed us at the agreed time and was giving us useful tips for our first visit to Napoli. Close to metro so easy to reach all points that are further away from the city centre, while the central neighbourhoods are at a walking distance. The place was a bit chilly during the exceptionally low temperatures for Napoli during our stay but nothing too bad, there’s a heater in the main room and bathroom.
• Bernarda (10/5): Everything was great appartment, location and the host - Appartment Materdei Terrace was very spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Location is good in a very peaceful street, easily walk to the main attractions. Vito is very nice person, he gave us a great overview of the city upon our arrival with many suggestions what to see, where to eat, etc. He also sent us some helpful messages during our stay in Naples. We could evan stay a little bit longer, we could check out at 2 p.m. We realy had pleasant stay!
