• L (7/5): Prima locatie die met vernieuwing nog beter kan worden - De locatie was fijn, contact met David goed en snel. Keuken en badkamer prima. Slaapkamer ruim. De blinds Voor de ramen gingen met geen mogelijkheid dicht. En te hoog om handmatig te doen. Daardoor was het niet donker te krijgen. De bank in woonkamer wel erg hard om 4 nachten met 2 op te slapen. En per bed 1 smal dekbed was niet fijn als ze met 4 losse volwassenen bent. Met 2 stellen waarschijnlijk geen probleem.

• Vittoria (8/5): super consigliato! - Per gli standard di Londra la struttura era pulita. Posizione eccellente e non mancava niente, Eravamo in 4 ed era comunque spazioso e come da foto! Veramente ottimo :), consiglio! Unica pecca è che non tutte le oscuranti si tiravano giù, ma non abbiamo tanto forzato le tende (quindi magari eravamo solo noi che non riuscivamo ahah). Le finestre poco insonorizzate, ma sinceramente, una volta a letto si dorme bene e tranquilli!

• Varsha (9/5): Comfortable place at a convenient location. - The beds were really comfortable and the location was great, there is not much more one can ask for a one night stay in London. It was really easy to check in and check out. David was very clear with his instructions. The place was clean and tidy. Thank you for your hospitality, David. A small thing but I couldn't close the bedroom door due to the jutting carpet.

• Elia (8/5): Great location, responsive host! - Great location! Host was quick to respond and fix door issue. He also provided helpful information about the neighbourhood and getting around London. Easy to walk or catch transit. The fridge had a smell. Saw a mouse, I appreciate it's an old building but may want to fill some cracks with steel wool, specifically in the corner of the kitchen. Shower head could be improved.

• Sebastian (4/5): Unbearably loud and fully overpriced. - The location was great. The apartment is well suited for couple of guys wanna have a splash over London. Other than that the apartment is ill suited to stay there as it is unbearably loud. It feels like you’d literally sit on the street and Theobalds street is just heavy traffic. Besides, lots of the equipment is broken and the internet is malfunctioning… overall and for this price I’d strongly recommend “hands off”!

• Aine (7/5): Bet price we could find but too far from transport, too noisy, too many drunks and shabby interior - The microwave in the kitchen was a bonus especially for heating leftovers. The description for getting into the proper was very thorough and well laid out compared to the other apartments we stayed at on holiday. There was a good breakfast cafe nearby. Food was good waitstaff was very rude. The Korean restaurant next door is fantastic. The stairs were really bad. Very narrow and even though we were warned it was harrowing coming down the dates with heavy suitcases. If it weren’t for the railing my husband would have fallen down the stairs. The place is badly slapped together. The bathroom is small and the shower was very dirty. Everything is crooked and squeaky but I assume that’s to be expected from the age of the building. The bars downstairs and nearby are extremely loud and the street noise is crazy most of the night. Ear plugs are a 100% must have. The bed in the best was comfortable but the pull out couch is not. My young kids even complained at how uncomfortable it was. The constant clapping of the manhole cover on the street as it is driven over is loud and annoying. This place was the least expensive we could find and it was also very far away from any reliable transport. Most travel required a 10-14 minute walk from the apartment to the metro or correct bus stop. We spent a fortune on cabs and apparently May 26th is not a good day to be in London if you want to catch a cab or public transport as the roads are closed for bicycle racing. It was a nightmare to get to anything that day. The host seems great but the apartment is not posh by any means. That said, it worked for us and we all had earplugs to get us some quiet. Side note: the restaurant to the right of the entry door was crawling with drunks and people partying. The whole door jam was covered with beer glasses and bottles as well as broken glass all over the sidewalk when we came home the first night at around 8pm. It was weird to step over the glass and bottles and to ask the drunk people to step away from the door so we could out in the code and try to shut it behind us. The door is also not green anymore so you will be looking for a black door upon entry.

• Fernanda (10/5): Bright days at sunny corner! - The stay was very pleasant and the host was very kind and helpful. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean. We had no problems with the internet! The location is excellent, making it possible to take several walking tours around the region. The proximity to the metro station also helps a lot.

It was easy to self-check in and he was very accommodating to allow us to arrive early after our long flight. We stayed for 8 nights and it was very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and the sleeper couch very comfortable. The apartment is very well situated. I would definitely come back. Nothing. It was all great.
• Kay (9/5): Superb - The apartment was lovely, clean, well equipped and very central location wise. I thought the tea and coffee was a nice touch. The shower was a good size and overall the noise levels were relatively low for central London. I would certainly stay again. Nothing - except for the steep and narrow staircase! Wouldn't be very easy with a pushchair or huge amounts of luggage but as long as you're prepared for it then it shouldn't be an issue.

• Jerrycatlover (9/5): decent flat in the centre of London. - the location is perfect, it's closed to the city centre and all the attractions. there are many shops, supermarkets, restaurants located in walking distance. it's close to bus stops and Holborn tube station too. the flat is a little bit small then expected. the decoration can be dressed better e.g. gaps between the floor and skirting, worn out tea table, dated basin, door knobs are quite stiff.

• Carlos (9/5): Bigger than in pictures - It's bigger than it looks in pictures and the furniture looks very new. The sofa bed is very comfortable. Straightforward automatic check in and check out. The welcome pack that the host sent was very helpful. The apartment above us was being refurbished for some of the time we were here. We were out when they were working but the hallway was quite dirty when they were done and it was unnerving to see several contractors come in and out of the building.
• Paige (10/5): It's very sunny indeed - I arrived at 3am due to flight delays. David's check in instructions were very clear so I had no problem. Phew! The apartment itself is nice with a huge bedroom. I think its the same size as the living room. And the apartment is indeed very "sunny". It would have been great to have kitchen towels, not just paper towels.
