She had great food recommendations and made my stay a highlight of my trip. The apartment is spacious and adorable with plenty to entertain anyone staying in. Claudia hat sich sehr liebevoll um uns gekümmert und mit Adressen von guten Restaurants versorgt. Von unserer Dachterrasse hatten wir einen einmalig schönen Blick zum Vesuv und auf Napoli.

Apartment is large and equipped in a very personal note, very cosy. Interestingly, at night, when staying on terrace is so peaceful and quiet while being in the of the city. Claudia, the owner is very helpful and available to advise regarding anything you may see and eat in Naples and surrounding area. Nothing to comment. Maybe the slow elevator, but is a big thing that there is elevators, considering the age of the city and its buildings.

• Carsten Foghsgaard (10/5): Fantastic rooftop terrace and a beautiful well-functioning apartment - This is simply a fantastic place and we will for sure come back. The rooftop terrace is astoning and you can see ALL of Naples to Vesuvio, the sea to the many beautiful churches. The apartment is in the Historic Centre, so close to the lively city but still very quiet and calm. The AC in the apartment is working perfect, the kitchen is well-equiped and everything just works. Claudia is a fantastic host, easy and very responsive communication. WE LOVED IT!!!! Loved everything!!!

It is right in the middle of the Historic Center. The church bells ring at different times during the day and early evening. From the terrace you can see the local area, churches, the sea, life basically, and of course Mount Vesuvious . All simply stunning.

The apartment has a great roof terrace from where we had a brilliant view over the city to watch the fireworks which was amazing. Naples goes absolutely bonkers during NYE. The apartment itself has everything you need. A really comfy bed, a good shower and good heating / airconditioning. Claudia, the owner, is the greatest host. She gave great recommendations, made reservations for us for the best restaurants (lunch and dinner) in town, arranged taxis and even an appointment at the barber. She was the best. Really recommend this place.

The apartment is clean and Claudia’s communication was amazing and so helpful. The location was perfect and I loved the roof terrazza, it was my favorite part. Sitting up there to enjoy morning coffee or coming home in the evening to relax under the night sky will be held as a beautiful memory always.

The rooftop terrace was outstanding! Dining table and chairs, loungers, views of Versuvius, the sea and Naples from a high vantage point. The apartment, including the kitchen, was very well equipped. Claudia had thought of everything. Nothing! As it says in the description though, maybe not suitable for anyone who couldn’t use the spiral staircase which leads to the rooftop terrace.

A bit dusty (but it is Naples so not unexpected), poor quality toiletries, shower is older so a bit mouldy, towels not great.

• Gábor (10/5): A legjobb nápolyi apartman - The apartment is on the 4 floor (there is a lift), beautifully furnished, with spacious rooms. From every window you can see the city, the sea, Vesuvius. There is a very nice reading gallery, tastefully furnished. And the best thing is the roof terrace with magnificent view of everything! You can see over the rooftops of Naples in all directions, like looking at a map. An extraordinary experience! The roof terrace is about 70 sqm and has a barbecue, sunbed, parasol, dining table and sink. Claudia was waiting in the apartment and told everything about the apartment and the area (where to eat real Italian food, where to go and when, etc.). Very friendly and nice! We had to check out early, but Claudia was very attentive to this too: she called a taxi and kept in touch even in the wee hours of the morning to make sure everything was going well, special thanks to her!
• Madeleine78 (10/5): Home away from home! - The title of the ad says it all: A WONDERFUL PENTHOUSE IN NAPLES! I have had a wonderful one week stay in Naples with my mother, visiting Naples & Amalfi Coast! The apartment was a true gem! Very beautiful, elegant, spacious, clean, sunny and equiped with everything you need. We were greeted by Claudia, our host, who welcomed us with open arms and little traditional gifts that were a very nice touch. We kept in contact with her during our entire stay, she was always available recommending restaurants, local delicacies, booking us taxi...all we had to do was ask! When we left she came to say good bye... A very sweet gesture and we felt like staying at a friend's house. I would also like to mention that the apartment is very well situated, in the old part of the city, close to the train station and the port. Reached by walking. And last but not least: THE TERRACE! Big, decorated with plants and the Vesuvio in full splendor in front of you! What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this wonderful place to everybody! Just check out the photos! We liked everything!

The roof terrace is huge, and has panoramic views across the old city, and out across the Bay of Naples. Clear views of Vesuvius to the left and Capri to the right. It was a pleasure to watch boats in the distance arriving and departing from the docks.

The apartment was clean, warm and well equipped. Claudia, the owner, was very welcoming and really helpful. Claudia regularly checked that we were okay and helped us with recommendations and advice. The apartment is in the old town, and close by are a number of wonderful churches. The cathedral, the Duomo di Napoli, was also close by and stunning inside. There were also a number of really lively streets and it had a real italian feel to it. Claudia recommended some great restaurants. The pizzas were were really good and far better than the ones at home. We visited Pompeii, which was amazing, and we had a great day. It was also very easy to get to, as the train station is only 10 mins away from the apartment. Overall the trip was wonderful and we felt at home in the apartment as soon as we arrived. • Jeffrey (10/5): A wonderful sanctuary in the middle of Naples - There were many things to like, or love, about a wonderful penthouse in Naples. It is located perfectly for exploring the Centro Storico on foot. Via dei Tribunale, Spaccanapoli, Duomo are all about a ten to twelve minute walk, Napoli Centrale is fifteen minutes walking. Duomo and Museo are the nearest Metro stops, each about 10-12 minutes. The owner, Claudia, is fantastic! She was very communicative before our stay, and met us at the property to give us the tour. There is an excellent and functional kitchen, a cozy/comfortable living room (where we happily spent a rainy afternoon), a good bathroom, and a bedroom with a very comfortable bed and storage space. Claudia also explained how to use the heating system, which worked very well for us the few times we used it. Then…she took us up the spiral staircase going from the kitchen to the rooftop terrace. It is amazing, 360 degree views, to Vomero, Capidomonte, Vesuvius right there, Napoli sprawling in front of you, and behind you a church dome and bell tower less than a stone’s throw away from the terrace. It’s a “you’ve got to see it to believe it” kind of view/experience. Truly awe inspiring, and…remarkably quiet for all that’s happening below. So…yes it was a wonderful experience at the wonderful penthouse, and I highly recommend staying there! Thank you so much, Claudia. We loved meeting you and staying in your place. You helped make our trip extra-special! It’s not really about the property, but I wish there were a closer Metro stop. If you can’t do stairs, navigating the spiral staircase to the rooftop would be an issue. None of this affects my rating, though.

We liked the location as it was walking distance to restaurants, shops & historical sites. The apartment was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The washing machine was a real plus. The rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city was a highlight!

There is an amazing rooftop balcony you have all to yourself and you get a great view of Naples and Mt Vesuvius. Claudia is a great hostess and gave us great recommendations for local cafes, restaurants, and things to see. The air conditioning was perfect and the kitchen had everything you could need. So much better than staying in a hotel! Not a thing. Wish we had stayed longer.

There is a supermarket nearby and churches - The apartment is spacious with high ceilings and with a well equipped kitchen. Having the essentials like tea and coffee, some snacks and bottled water upon arrival makes such a difference when travellers are exhausted! The furnishings are of a superb quality and the apartment has beautiful views from every window as it is situated on the fourth floor of a very old building with a lift. The roof terrace is fabulous with spectacular views of the city and the bay of Naples. It has a beautiful tiled table and sun loungers. The air conditioning is a welcome relief from the heat of the city in summer time. Staying an apartment like this gives the traveller a feel for what life is like in the city. The apartment is well designed and the beds are very comfortable. The property has a distinct feeling of serenity and calm. We were greeted by the owner who is extremely helpful with local restaurant recommendations nearby. I have stayed in many apartments through Booking.com in Italy over the years and this is definitely one of the top places I have found.
• Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - A comfortable, tastefully decorated apartment in a great part of Napoli. The terrace is magnificent! It is right at the edge of the old town and we could walk everywhere or take the metro. Despite the central location, it is very quiet in the apartment. We appreciated the aircondition...since we had to cook some nights, we really liked that the kitchen is really well equipped. If you see that this apartment is available, book it! There could not be a bezter choice.

A beautiful apartment with a beautiful terrace where you have all of Naples and the Vesuvio at the palm of your hand. The accommodation is very spacious and clean. There is air conditioning. • Pamela (10/5): True to it’s name, this really is a ‘wonderful penthouse appartment’! - The location was just perfect, easy to get to so many places and Claudia made the stay even better, with really helpful suggestions and advice. The roof terrace really was a slice of heaven and so beautiful to sit there in the evening with a glass of wine, looking over the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius or people watching in Naples! Nothing, just great. As with any large city, you have to keep your wits about you when you are out and about, particularly on the circumversuviae, but as long as you are sensible, it was a great way to get about.

By far the greatest attraction is the fabulous, huge roof terrace with stunning views, but the location is also great for the old town and all major attractions are reachable on foot. The apartment feels very much like a home and although located next to a vibrant area, it is secure and quiet. Claudia, the host, is simply lovely and very helpful. If we return to Naples we would definitely stay here again. Nothing - it was all great!
• Erika (10/5): Super comfortable and spacious with spectacular views!! - We were met by warm host Claudia, she was proactive in the days before our arrival to make sure our check in went smoothly. Speaks excellent english and was very thorough showing us all of the features of the apartment and what to do, where to eat etc.. Even gave us a sweet welcome gift! Stunning apartment with very high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, spacious, amazing views from every room and of course spectacular huge rooftop deck-the building is higher than most around. Superb views of Mt Vesuvius. Nice snacks and makings for coffee provided. AC worked great, very comfy bed and pillows (best on our 2 week trip) . Shower smallish but worked fine. Claudia helped book our taxi to the airport (which is close, 15-20 minutes away) and even walked us to pick up spot. Memorable property and great value! Really nothing, but make sure you do your research on where you want to go in advance, as you need to walk a few blocks to get to any restaurants and cafés and shopping
• Thorn (10/5): Stay here!! Great rooftop views, great A/C for summer, the most helpful host! - Our stay at the penthouse was amazing, I highly recommend staying here! We stayed for 2 nights in early July, coming from New York, before going to a wedding in Capri. Very adorable building (it's on a bit of a hill/steps coming from the train but nothing unmanageable), the decor is all very cute, the bed was comfy and the A/C was great given it was super hot in Italy during our stay. The host Claudia gave us great recommendations (Dal Presidente pizza was one of my favorite meals of our 12 days traveling in Italy!). Having an elevator in the building was great given we had lots of luggage. The rooftop views are great, I would stay here again just for the roof (pictures don't do it justice). It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the historic district and a 30-40 minute walk to the ferry, or a quick 10-20 minute cab ride. Everything was great about our stay - can't find anything to say we didn't like! The only thing I could think to say is it is an older building so keys can be a little tricky, and the location is tucked away in a small street so taxis can have trouble getting to near the front door (it's possible, just not super easy)!
• Neringa (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice Appartements and the owner is super kind. Central location, everything is near and reachable by foot. Claudia was very helpful in every situation. Was a big pleasure to stay at clean, beautiful appartaments with great view from top terace to city and Vesuvius. Best recommendations and Grazie! Nothing at all.

• Teri (10/5): Amazing terrace views of Naples and a comfy central apartment - Claudia was an amazing host - met us to explain how everything worked, left us lots of treats and even gave us a welcome gift. She recommended some great local eating places and organised our leaving taxi. All above and beyond! The apartment was lovely and homely, had everything you needed and had an awesome top deck where there were the best views of the city to be had. Close to everything you need and very secure. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Naples. Nothing!
• Laurie (9/5): Fantastic view, great location, superior AC, walk to train - great location in heart of historic district, fantastic view, very helpful owner, nicely equipped kitchen, great AC, secure location, always felt safe, easy access to Pompeii and Herculaneum, walk to Napoli Centrali (Garibaldi) some tiny bugs as no screens but minor issue, loved opening the windows to hear the city.

Giving us tips of what to see. we were right in the heart of Naples! Bonus to have a washing machine after travelling for three weeks.

The bed is the best so comfortable. extra bonus the working lift and the private roof top Terrace great views over Naples 300 deg views. the terrace has table chairs bar b que. Claudia was an excellent host, looked after our every need and request. The apartment is fully equipped and very homely. highly recommend and would definitely stay again. • Timothy (10/5): Exceptional - I can't think of a better location in the historical district. The flat is located about three minutes' walk from Via Tribunali with all its restaurants and local flavour, another couple minutes' stroll to the Duomo, ten minutes from Underground Naples (two different sites), 7 minutes from Januarius (fabulous restaurant), 20 minutes to the MANN museum (a must), twenty minutes to Garibaldi train station, and authentic local life starts right at the building's front gate. We walked EVERYWHERE except to Herculaneum and Pompeii day trips for which we took trains. Despite being right there where the action is, the flat is located on a very quiet street, and the flat itself is quit quiet. The terrace is everything you could want, and we used it daily despite the unusually cold and windy weather - the views were just too good not to. The owner, Claudia, is very available and kind, and communication with her has been pleasant and prompt from our very first questions via Booking.Com. We hated to leave, and we'd love to return. This is the flat you want. Everything was wonderful.

• Amandine (10/5): There is no better place to stay to experience Naples! - The penthouse is ideally located within the historical centre . During the day , we were submerged in its beating heart:alternating museums , churches and amazing food . At night , we relaxed on the terrasse with breathtaking 360 views of the sea , mont Vesuvius , Capodimonte , Vomero and countless churches ‘domes . We slept like logs in the confortable beds . The owner goes above and beyond with recommendations so that it is possible to live as locals . The building where the penthouse is is grand and secure . The decoration in the penthouse is tasteful .

• Paul (10/5): Everything was amazing . - It was unforgettable experience. Perfect location, very safe environment, host was absolutely amazing, she gave nice tips wich were very useful. Panoramic view from the terrace and we can’t imagine better place then Claudias penthouse. Highly recommend would stay there again. We could see sunrise, sunset, Vesuvio and Capri.
• Rob (9/5): Helpful host of a well situated apartment which had a very spacious but homely feel to it - The huge roof terrace was the main attraction - amazing view of Vesuvius and surroundings, two comfy loungers, big table, sink, umbrella, clothes dryer. But inside was lovely too. We loved the high ceilings, good air con, vintage furnishings and well-stocked kitchen with breakfast bar (so handy to have Kitchen roll, cling film etc) Our host was very efficient and super friendly, even booking a cab for us on departure. The apartment also felt really secure. Although the property is on the edge/within of the old town we preferred eating up on the terrace both nights - the old town was very busy and a bit too 'full on' for us... but all in all a perfect base for visiting Pompei and Versuvias.
