- Elīna (10/5): Paldies - Lieliska atrašanās vieta. Patīkams, kluss dzīvojamais rajons, netālu veikals, metro stacija. Saimnieki laipni, atsaucīgi. Naktsmītnē viss vajadzīgais palikšanai. Diviem cilvēkiem ok, taču, ja plānojat palikt vairāk kā 2, tad jārēķinās ar ļoti lielu šaurību. Uzskatu, ka naktsmītne piemērota maksimums 2 cilvēkiem.
Paldies Saimniekiem. Mums bija brīnišķīgas brīvdienas Londonā. Iesaku pārskatīt tīrības jautājumu, īpaši virtuvē. Skapjos ļoti daudz lieku priekšmetu, piemēram pannas, katli, krūzes. Iesaku atstāt nenolietotās, funkcionālās lietas, pārējo izvākt (pannas ir jāizmet). Visi trauki pirms lietošanas bija jāpārmazā. Tiešām 50% priekšmetu no virtuves būtu jāizvāc.

- Ralf (10/5): - A cosy little flat nice for one or two people. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped . Plenty of sockets to connect your phone tablet and laptop. The shower had good hot water to shower with.
I liked that you could sit outside on the terrace.
Would stay there again. The water in the shower drained very slowly. One has to be careful not to flood the bathroom (not a very big problem). The sink was very small, which made it difficult to wash and brush your teeth.
Everything else was lovely.
- Mel (9/5): Fabulous, pleasant, convenient, really happy! - Clean throughout, really comfortable beds. Lots of helpful things like hairdryer, plenty of linen, well equipped kitchen. Great to have our own entrance and we came and went as we pleased. About 2 mins from the Co-op and 3 mins from the underground. Brilliant! Not really any windows apart from at the back door but so pleasant inside that I didn't really mind.
- vielma (8/5): Bien pero podria ser mejor - La ubicacion y facil acceso al metro Que en la descripcion decia q tenia television satelital lo cual no es cierto, solo se puede ver netflix
- Carole (8/5): - It was lovely and warm with plenty of hot water for showers and washing.
The bed was comfortable with appropriate linens, towels etc.
The location was very convenient - close to buses and a tube station.
There was a large array of basic kitchen equipment plus some basic supplies.
The lighting was good, as was the skylight over the kitchen area. That the only natural light source was a glass door leading to the patio but there were no windows that could be opened.

- Nataliya (8/5): Very good location. - The location is great. Good for the money. The room is very small. There are no windows in the room where you sleep. There is not enough space to store a suitcase and carry-on luggage.
- samantha (8/5): - Great location, compact space but has everything you need.
- Gerd (8/5): Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder - War nahe an unserem Zielort Relativ klein
- Naci (8/5): -
- Zsolt (8/5): -
- Marcin (8/5): Comfy for a quick stay - Narrow apartment (like a train car) but comfortable enough and very well equipped, close to the metro station and grocery Dark during the day (one ceiling "window"), problematic WiFi
- Elisa (8/5): -
- Caspar (10/5): - Hat alles, was man braucht
- Antje (10/5): Pleasant hideaway in Ealing - Very pleasant and friendly accommodation. Before you stop at the Co-op for groceries, check what is already in the cupboards for you. Plenty of kitchen equipment. We were delighted to have a microwave for our porridge. Comfortable beds. There is enough heating available for chilly nights, which we really appreciated. The bedroom and toilet are separated by the kitchen area and accordion doors rather than solid doors, but the toilet flushes quietly, so nighttime use won't disturb your travel companion. Our impression was that the hosts really tried to think of everything to make their guests happy! A good place to stay!

- Letizia Anna (10/5): Host is sweet and lovely. The studio was perfect when we arrived and we had no problems whatsoever - Very well positioned. The underground is walk distance and there’s a supermarket almost straight out of the house. The studio is clean and tidy. The host is lovely and helped us even when the shower had some problems. It was perfect overall. Would stay here again.

- Christele (10/5): A little nest in the city - Staying at Jay's and his Mum's is like staying at home. They are so kind and helpful. It is not our first time and it will not be our last. We like everything, the place, the district, the nearby tube station, the little coop if you need something but what makes the place special is Jay and his lovely family.
- Geoff (9/5): - Has everything needed for a short stay and better than a hotel box room. Co-op supermarket plus fish & chips/couple of restaurants 5 mins walk. Recommend 👍
- Annamaria (10/5): - This place has the best location, only 2 minutes from the nearest tube station. There's also a retail park just a few minutes away with many restaurants and a cinema. The area is very suburbia like, and I felt safe getting around even in the middle of the night. The kitchen is very well stocked, with everything you probably need for a short stay.
- Daniel (8/5): Perfect for what we needed! Thanks! - The property had everything we could have needed. The host communicated excellently and made sure we were comfortable. The tube station was just a couple of minutes walk away. If you want somewhere to set up base and sleep with the ability make your own food for a short break in the capital then this is ideal. It’s not 5 star luxury but that’s not what it’s meant to be, it’s a very affordable place to stay in London. It did get quite warm in the property but as I said there is everything you need and more in there so the fan on the wall helped.
- Dora (10/5): Exceptional - I've spent 10 days in this apartment and I really enjoyed it. Everything was exactly as on the photos, the bed was comfy, there was more than enough space for my clothes in the wardrobe, there were extra towels and duvets, there are electric heaters in the room, TV, hair dryer, iron, etc. The kitchen is also fully equipped, there are water cooker, portable hob, toaster, microwave oven and even a small electric oven in the cabinet.
I was travelling alone and felt perfectly safe the whole time, it's a lovely residential area, and just a few minutes walk from the Piccadily line that brings you to central London.
Jay, the host, was very helpful and polite, if I needed anything extra, I could've just asked him.
I really recommend this studio for everyone who enjoys waking up to birdsong and doesn't mind taking the tube to get to the busy centrum.
- Graeme (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Janos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Vida (9/5): Superb - Apartment has everything you need, rooms are clean, quiet place. Close to metro station. The host is very kind and helpful.
- Ondrej (7/5): Good - 5 minutes from the tube station Bad lightening
- Maheen (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (10/5): Highly recommend! - Great place! Apartment has everything you need, can’t wait to book this place again! The owners next door are absolutely lovely, great location as well, a really nice residential area, for once I actually felt safe in London! No windows
- Alen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): Great value for the price in London - Great location in a quiet area. The host, Jay is very kind and helpful - although we have not met in person, he provided all the information about how to get into the studio etc. The studio itself seems to be transformed from a garage, but all the necessary equipment is there: the room is comfortable for 2 people, small kitchen area with a shower at the end. I think it worth for the price. It was clean and cozy, towels also provided. The only constructive feedback in my mind is that the insulation of the front door could be improved. As you can hear the traffic from the street almost directly. Fortunately as it is really a nice and calm part of the city, after ~11pm there is very limited traffic. Although earplugs are recommended if somebody is sensitive to sounds.
- Said (8/5): Very good - Well, I booked for 3 nights and it was suitable and good value. Rooms are clean yet small for 4 ppl but one can manage that, but overall, it was nice. The room was clean, kitchen, bathroom, and tea, and coffee are provided. Good value for money on London.
Not to forget! Public transport is really close about 5-8m walk.
- Dywayne (9/5): Superb -
- Tanvir (9/5): Superb -
- Berdo (8/5): Separate apartment in a silent street - Close to metro station, restaurants, supermarkets. Well-equipped, separate apartment in a silent street. It was very cold in the apartment at night.
- Sarah (1/5): Expensive safety risk - Linen was clean.
Easy walking distance from tube station. Doors are only able to be opened by a key from inside. As per other reviews, front door key is tricky. This means, given there are no windows, in the event of a fire - this place would be a death trap. This would be particularly dire at full capacity. If you see the photos of all four beds set up, they completely block the front exit. There was no indication of any other safety features (e.g. fire alarm, evacuation plan etc) to balance out these fire hazards - which if you research fire safety standards of short term rentals in the UK, is a breach.
Also construction workmanship is sub-standard... quite surprised nobody mentioned the roof in the kitchen (see photos below) which does not meet appropriate building material of roofing for an enclosed space... literally clear perspex stuck together with sticky tape.
The photos you see in the listing aren't inaccurate but they do omit a number of issues.
Unfortunately, Booking.com is happy to ignore the actual safety standards of accommodation as long as it is getting reasonable reviews from customers. Given I wasn't comfortable staying somewhere with little care for due diligence, and did not receive a full refund, it was a very expensive way of learning:
A) Booking.com has no credible quality assurance processes
B) most people are oblivious to risks until they are in trouble
C) be extremely wary of privately owned accommodation on this site.
Also pay attention to the responses property managers post to negative reviews. The content and the tone speaks volumes. I can assure you, that you can find reasonable and safe accommodation closer to the centre of London for a similar price. No, it may not have a kitchen but I would rather pay a couple of £ more a day on food and stay somewhere that has clearer safety compliance.
- Felix (9/5): We found Jay's apartment to be ideal for our needs. Its close proximity to town and the nearby train -
- Shahzad (7/5): Good -
- Giulia (7/5): Good if you are an accomodating person - Close to the subway, the host was responsive. Never seen a sink as part of the water...it was not an apartment or a studio, just a box adjusted as it.
- Lance (7/5): Good - The location was excellent.
Within walking distance of 2 tube stations. It would have been nice to have a "standard" bathroom sink.
- Danielle (9/5): Great place to stay in London - Fantastic location, just a very short walk to the Piccadilly line underground. Makes it so easy to get anywhere you want in London.
There is a supermarket about a minute walk and a few restaurants.
Jay always responded to messages and made us feel very welcome.
I think you'd struggle to find better value for a London stay. There was no water pressure in the shower, this could be a London thing and not necessarily anything to do with the property.
Wifi didn't work a lot for us.
- Hossain (10/5): Exceptional - The backyard
- Raphaël (10/5): We loved Jay's mini studio, it was a great experience ! - Everything was available in the small studio to have a nice stay : microwave, towels, terace... Jay was very friendly, ready to provide advices to visit London. Such a lovely garden !
- Rachel (10/5): Cosy, quiet and comfortable stay - The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Lovely quiet area to stay at and very close to the tube station. Added bonus of being able to sit in the garden There wasn’t anything to complain about.
- Sophie (10/5): Cozy and perfect! - The property was just what me and my friend needed while we was in London for a few days! It’s the perfect size, the beds were comfy and everything was spotless when we arrived!
It’s within a 5 minute walk to an underground station, as well as other shops and restaurants in the area. The location is amazing! Can’t fault the property at all!
- Tami (10/5): Home away from Home - Jay, the owner, has built a home extension. Fully self-contained with complete privacy. His studio-size home can sleep up to four people. It has all the amenities necessary to enjoy a cozy stay. I got so comfortable; I didn’t want to leave :)) You, too will love it! Literally no complaints.
- Inga (7/5): Good if you are traveling on a budget - The host was responsive and easy to reach by e-mail - explained everything. If you are looking to travel on a budget then this is definitely a good choice considering the accommodation prices in London. Although the place is far from the center, it is close to the metro stop. It must be taken into account that the place itself is a house extension/garage adapted for living. Therefore, there is not much space, but everything you need is there - a bedroom right outside the front door, a small kitchenette with everything you need and a small toilet/shower room. It was very nice to have heaters as the weather was chilly in London. Also good that there were towel dryers in the shower room. This is a good place if you are not going to stay in the room much, but just spend the night as we did. We would have liked the room to have a window. There are also some improvements needed as the shower has been fixed with tape, the glass ceiling in the kitchen needs to be cleaned and the upper surfaces need to be dusted as well, the dividing sliding doors are also already worn out. It didn't bother us much, but it was very noisy at night when it rained because it hit the roof.
- Tony (7/5): Adequate at the price and good if you wish to be completely independent. - Self contained separate entrance. As a converted garage it was rather narrow and the two single couch like beds had foam mattresses, not that comfortable for relaxing, the TV was difficult to operate. Attempts to contact owners were abortive, the advertised number rang out and an email was unanswered. Although tea and coffee was provided, there was no milk, maybe an oversight.
- Julien (9/5): Superb -
- Saika (10/5): Excellent stay with great privacy and comfort in a suburban setting in London. - The place was amazing! The room was spick-and-span. Everything I needed was there! The location was very close to the Park Loyal station, which was convenient. The room smelled nice with a hot shower and exquisite lighting. Nothing. I cannot complain anything about this property. If anything, the WiFi connection was spotty and unreliable.
- Tomas (8/5): Very good - I dont think you can find a better deal in London for the price .. Location is a little out of the centre, but still close to the Underground, so its not such a big deal. The place is a little small, but cozy and there is pretty much everything you would need for a short term stay. Neighborhood is calm. It wasnt very clean.
- Linda (10/5): A great place to stay! - All was good. The location is very convenient, and the host was very nice. I liked everything
- Talhah (8/5): Enjoyable and comfortable - Cosy, well taken care of NA
- Patrícia (8/5): Fantastic - The studio is very confortable and clean and it has got all you need for cooking, sheets, heater... As well as, the neigbourhood is very quiet and it's possible to rest and relax. Thank you so much and see you soon!
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional - I've been 3 months in this studio and I felt totally at home! Jay and his mother Su are super sweet and available for everything you need. The studio is super comfortable and close to the Piccadilly tube station of park royal. Very close to a market, restaurants, off license. The place is very quiet and safe.
Thank you again Su! Hope to see you soon ❤️
- Djc0436 (3/5): Misleading advert. This is a garage. - It was cheap and available. - The advert is misleading.
- This is a poorley converted garage.
- The conversion has been done on a budget and not by a professional. There is no way this has been signed off by a building inspector for the purpose it is being used.
- On a hot day it is like a green house with the roofing over the kitchen made of clear plastic.
- There are no windows that open.
- The electric wiring is questionable specifically with the use of extention cables.
- It doesn't feel very secure.
- Nanda (9/5): Superb - Jay (the host) is really nice eventhough i didnt meet him in person. Location is perfeeeccctt! To london centre and wembley stadium 👍👍👍👍👍👍
- Ali (9/5): Superb - Very nice area, park royal station is around 30 mins by London tube from central London through Piccadilly line. The facilities are just want you might need for a short stay. The backside garden is a bonus! .
