• Charlotte (6/5): Good location, but stay marred by unclean arrival and no internet. - The apartment was in a good location and the beds were comfortable, though not outstanding. The living room and kitchen were pleasant and functional. However, there were several serious issues that made our stay difficult. When we arrived, the apartment had not been cleaned and we were asked to leave for several hours. This happened right in the middle of carnival, when more than two million people were on the streets — so after dragging our luggage through the crowds, we had nowhere to go and ended up stuck among drunk partygoers until the apartment was ready. On top of that, there was no internet at all for the three nights we stayed. Smaller details also added to the frustration: the coffee machine only used very specific pods that couldn’t be bought locally, and the showerhead needed cleaning. Overall, while the apartment itself had potential, the lack of cleanliness on arrival, no internet, and the poorly timed inconvenience during carnival made the experience very disappointing.

• Geraldine (10/5): A cozy, clean and modern Apartment - The interior decorations are modern and have a prestige feel. The apartment is fully equipped even come with hair curler and dehumidifier. Location is super convenient too. Tube station, supermarket, restaurants and the bustling Portobello market are just minutes away . My family enjoy staying here for two night. I strongly recommend this apartment to those who visit London. None

It had everything we needed and it was a great location to get around London, with easy access to transport links, eateries, Portobello Market and grocery stores. We had great communication from Deniz. The Turkish restaurant downstairs was great, as was the local pub, The Elgin. We had a wonderful stay! It was all great. The stairs could be challenging if you had mobility issues, particularly with luggage; however we didn't find it a problem.

• Joanne (8/5): All in all a good time away - Apartment is a few minutes walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station, so ideally situated for getting into central London. Portobello Road is a short walk from the apartment and you can easily walk to Notting Hill. Minimal noise from the busy road outside. We did find the apartment quite cold, and used a small portable electric heater to warm up the lounge on one of the evenings. Some of the radiators didn’t get hot, could need bleeding. Curtains in the lounge can’t be pulled properly, one of our party slept in the lounge and it didn’t really bother her but it might bother some people, as the buildings opposite mean people can see across and into the apartment. Could also benefit from a couple of lamps in the twin bedroom and a non slip mat in the shower as we did find the shower base very slippy and had to use a towel so we didn’t have any accidents. As mentioned by some people, there are steps up to the apartment, not good when carrying luggage up and down, need to be careful.

Also awesome Turkish restaurant underneath the apartment. Stairs are very steep and apartment up 4 flights of stairs so difficult to carry large bags.

• Anne (8/5): Great place for short visit. Location excellent - Location was great. Reasonable size apartment Kitchen was well equipped. Stairs difficult with large bags however we were aware of this when booking as apartment is on 2nd floor. A second set of keys would be handy.

• Julieta (10/5): Family of 5 - The apartament was wonderful, super clean, has all the amenities, check-in was very easy, beds were confortable, water pressure was great, we had no issues and had a lovely stay! Deniz was always super responsive. Great location, close to underground and busses, pubs and restaurants and just a step away from Portobello Road. This is not within the host's control I'm sure, but I'm super sensitive to noises and if there are people in the upper floor you will hear every step, unfortunately for us, during our 3 night stay it seemed that people were tap dancing all night long..

Well-equipped and comfortable, we loved the character of the apartment and the ability to explore the immediate neighborhood, as well as London in general from this location. Plenty of great options for food and public transportation right at the doorstep. Communication and check-in was straightforward. We understood in advance that there were steps involved in accessing the apartment, but some may find that a challenge to staying here.

• Julie (8/5): The accommodation, was perfectly adequate for our stay. My son and his partner, would book it again. I wouldnt, stay the - The location was good, close to the underground, great selection of eateries within walking distance. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The 46 stairs to reach it! The bathroom sink, took absolutely ages to drain, no shower mat, making the walk in shower lethal. Scaffolding outside, with exterior work going on (necessary I know), but the curtains in the living room, didn’t fully close, so early morning tea had to be taken with an audience!

Nice location to enjoy Portobello Road. Great restaurants and pubs near by. Close to subway to travel to other locals in London! Nothing. Travelled with elderly mother 83. Had many stairs to reach apartment. Be mindful if you have mobility issues.
• Pam (9/5): Excellent accommodation - would highly recommmend! - Great location for exploring Portobello, Notting Hill, Holland Park and with Ladbroke Grove tube station and a major bus stop 5 mins walk from the apartment, London is literally on your doorstep! The apartment was very clean, tidy and comfortable and the kitchen equipped with all you need for light bites and breakfast. There is a supermarket, takeaways, restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes from the apartment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment and communication with Deniz was easy and prompt! As the flat is on the second floor, there are 7 flights of stairs to climb so if you have heavy bags, this is not ideal. The table top ironing board was hard to use and I would recommend bringing ear plugs for both bedrooms. It would have been great to also have lamps in each of the bedrooms too!

My daughter slept on the settee in the living area, and despite other reviews, the curtains do close with a little effort. Thank you, Deniz. There's nothing to dislike!

• Pui (9/5): Fantastic flat - Fabulous flat in a great location. Really clean, very well thought out with great facilities. It was a very comfortable place to stay and I would highly recommend it. The pillows were too big and high for me but I realise that's a very personal thing.

• Adina (9/5): Great, I would totally recomand - The apartment was very clean, modern and comfy. One of the bedroom’s widows couldn’t be closed properly so there was a little bit cold during the night.
• Cassandra (9/5): Beautifully presented flat close to many amenities. - The location was fantastic, in a nice area very close to the tube as well as pubs, supermarkets, restaurants and fast food shops. The flat was impeccably clean with great facilities and fitted our family of 5 really well, although the fold out bed wouldn’t suit a child much bigger than our average-sized 12 year old. The only problem we came across was there was no toaster, so we made do with a sandwich press for breakfasts instead.

• David (10/5): Fabulous comfortable stay. - Contemporary spacious clean apartment in a location of our choice. All the facilities you need for a single or multiple night stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom modern with fabulous walk in shower. The host communicated promptly with entry advice on arrival, and departure instructions, and a personal touch with a 'thank you' card to welcome guests. She also left some nibbles, milk and water. We thank you Deniz for making our stay enjoyable. Convenient location for all public transport links. Not a problem for my family, but the apartment is on the second floor up several flights of stairs, which may restrict some people?
• Emma (10/5): Loved the flat and location. Very clean and close to supermarkets and public transport. Communication from the host was - Location to the tube and bus routes. Two separate bedrooms which meant we had a comfortable stay as a family of four Small thing really; towel rails would of been helpful.

Portobello Road around the corner. Very nicely decorated with all amenities. Host was responsive prior for any questions. We were very lucky the property was available early on the day we arrived. If not we could have left luggage in stairwell which would have also been fine. Little touches like some chips, cookies and milk upon arrival were also great. Beds were comfortable and apartment was very clean. We were a family of 5 with 3 adult children so the 5th person would have used rollaway bed. Some hooks for towels would have been great on the back of doors in bedroom and bathroom for towels and clothes. There was no power point in bathroom for hair dryer. These are all minor as overall it was excellent and we could not rate highly enough.

• Robert (10/5): 100% perfect accommodation travelling with 2 adults a 3 kids under 10 years old - Fantastic location, cleanliness was amazing - seemed brand new, Deniz is a great communicator which made everything very easy If I'm being super critical - no air conditioning and no power outlets in the bath room. But a learning from our trip is that this was the case in every single accommodation though out the UK and France

Nothing about the property itself. The communal hall was being decorated & there was a very strong smell from the wood filler. It was dealt with very quickly & effectively & no further issues.

Would love somewhere to hang towels, like hooks on the doors. Would also love some softer lighting in the kitchen and bedrooms, like floor lamps.

• Lorna (7/5): Slightly disappointing - Lovely apartment with quality furnishings Entrance areas let it down. No bed set up for 5th guest and no sheet available so our son had to sleep on the sofa. Church bells rang for long time at midnight. Welcome pack was a bag of Mini Cheddars and a bag of crisps, but no milk etc and we found some tea bags that seemingly had been left by previous occupants. We’ve waited to stay at this property for over a year but sadly will not be returning.
