• Pauline (4/5): I enjoyed Naples and having a property to be able to relax in but I don’t think I would rebook this place in the future. - I liked the balcony that overlooked the city and the washing machine so I could do laundry. The AC worked wonderfully. It gave a very historic charm. The host was super communicative and helped with providing directions and videos to reach the accommodation. When we had trouble with the washing machine, someone came to help. The location was farther from the metros than I had assumed. Montesanto station is a steep hike up to the property and some of the roads on the map don’t exist. Some of the electrical outlets were either not working or exposed. The bathroom is very outdated and had many rusted areas. The toilet seemed fine but the seat was not properly secured. The bed was fine but you could tell that it probably has seen better days. The couch seemed very worn because the surface of the armrests were sunken in and peeling.

• Victor (8/5): - Appartement en mezzanine très agréable et parfait pour 3 personnes : un lit en haut et un canapé-lit en bas, tout était confortable. La salle de bain est suffisante et fonctionnelle. Les hôtes sont réactifs et disponibles, tout s’est très bien passé. Petit conseil pour les voyageurs : prévoyez de bonnes chaussures, on marche beaucoup à Naples et l’appartement est un peu en hauteur par rapport au centre historique et au quartier espagnol, avec quelques montées à faire. Mais dans l’ensemble, l’emplacement reste très pratique. Très bon séjour, je recommande !

• Carter (10/5): - La disponibilità della padrona di casa e la sua gentilezza ci hanno colpiti. La casa era super ordinata e pulita, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Inoltre anche la posizione é comoda a 10 minuti massimo dal centro. Consigliata, noi torneremo sicuramente!
• Alexia (2/5): - The location just above Quartieri Spagnoli. The interior dates from the early 1980s and is very run down. There is a smell of humidity in the apartment. Arrival instructions were that someone would meet me on location. I indicated my arrival time 4 hours before, confirmed 30 minutes before and upon arrival there was no one there to meet me and I was illegally parked at a bus stop (parking is a rarity in Naples). I called the owner, wrote texts (in Italian) - no one answered and it wasn't until I contacted Booking.com that I got a text with the entrance codes and code to the box with the key. All in all, I waited a good hour before being able to get into the property.

• Demichele (6/5): - l appartamento era conforme alle foto, era presente l aria condizionata e tutto sommato eravamo vicino al centro. il divano letto è piuttosto scomodo ma il vero problrma è stata la scarsa reperibilità della proprietaria che ci ha reso le cose difficili all'arrivo. Premetto che il nostro arrivo era programmato per le 17 e che per vari motivi siamo arrivati intorno alle 15. Detto ciò, rimane comunque abbastanza assurdo che la proprietaria di casa non riesca a rispondere alle continue telefonate e messaggi da parte degli ospiti se non prima delle 23 di quello stesso giorno. All'arivo siamo riusciti ad entrare solo grazie a due signori che, conoscendo la struttura, ci hanno aiutato ad arrivare alla porta della casa, facendoci superare il primo portone esterno. Arrivati di fronte alla porta però, ci accorgiamo che le chiavi per entrare erano all'interno di una cassetta di sicurezza di cui non sapevamo il codice in quanto non ci era stato fornito; ancora una volta solo grazie all'aiuto di una terza persona siamo riusciti ad entrare. il tutto ci è costato tempo che avremmo potuto dedicare ad altro; sotto quest'aspetto c'è da migliorare.

• Fern (4/5): Disappointing - Good location close to napoli centre via the cable car 5 mins away, comfortable apartment, host is helpful and friendly. Kitchen wasnt very well equipt, not suitable for those who want to self cater but ok for the odd basic meal. Shower was not very clean, with hair when we arrived, and had mould. Rats on the balcony in the evening. Fee for towels and linens, ive never been anywhere before that charges for towels and bed linen.

• Konstantinos (10/5): Really good value for money accomodation if you like walking - Communication with the host was excellent and the house was really good value for the price, with a fully equipped kitchen (even though in Napoli there's no need to cook unless you really like to). The location was amazing as well considering the cost and if you like walking and to explore the small streets and markets when you go down the stairs. Extra charge for the linen, however that was clearly communicated by the hosts beforehand.

People are nice, wifi was good. Linen and towels were not included in the price so we had to buy it separately, there is a lack of ventilation and toilet seat in the bathroom…shower could be a lot cleaner…

• Dunster (8/5): Very good, would recomend!! - Location was good, all in all, its a good little apartment, everything you need plus a big balcony. Good location to local shops & 10 mins walk to either of 2 metro stations. Getting the keys, advised a time but no-one was there to meet us or answer the phone the 3 times i called, had to get someone else to point us in direction of the apartment (even though there were in the region of about 50+) language barrier posed a problem at point of handing over the keys. We do feel that the property could do with more electrical sockets (or at least ensure the ones that are there work as opposed to be taped over) & also a toilet seat is needed, although that might be a british need/point of view as we did notice that 90% of Naples toilets dont have toilet seats??

By far, the best place that we spent during our 10 nights in Italy. We plan on booking this apartment on our next trip to Italy. In your booking please mention that there is a cable car up from the rail station. My wife and I followed Google Maps, which does not show elevation. Halfway up the mountain, with backpacks, the cable car passed parallel to us. Even though we had a great laugh and finished the climb we never revisited those steps. LOL
• Alicia (10/5): Wonderful place to explore Napoli. - Beautiful apartment, great starting point to explore naples. Wonderful views just outside the front door, but you are high up in the city so be prepared for a climb home from the centre! We really enjoyed our stay and the host was so helpful.

• Liana (8/5): Feedback about flat - Host was nice with good communication and location is not so far from metro station (8-10 mins by feet) There was a smell in the apartment, especially in the bedroom, the smell of dampness or some unpleasant smell, as well as the wardrobes that opened in the kitchen, they also had the smell of dampness in the bathroom there was a straight mold in curtains and in general, when you touch a objects, you feel that they are dirty in grease or mold. About check in also there was instruction that host will meet you, but you cant enter the house if you dont have a key, or you dont know surname or phone number and if you dont have internet, so check in is also was complicated. And when I wrote first to host that I felt smell and ask to improve condition, host said that its not true there is no smell, then said that maybe its google translation fault she didnt mean that 🙄
• Arjan (8/5): Decent casa napolitana! - The communication and check in and out was very easy. We were greeted by the parents of the owner and they were so welcoming. When we requested for food recommendations, they brought us their homemade pasta. That was very sweet. House was good for a family of 3 such as us and we can recommend it. Bed was a bit hard.
• Panagiotis (7/5): Good - The room was clean. There was always hot water available. Kitchen fully equiped even if we did not use it. The bed was comfortable. The area felt safe and going from the house to the metro station was easy. Going from the metro to the house was an uphill battle (Literally uphill because you had to walk and climb lots of stairs). In general the location was pretty bad and nothing was relatively close to it.The bathroom flush had a problem and we had to fix it on our own or else we couldn't use it or sleep because of the dripping water noise. The check-in was difficult because the owner left us with her mother who was not sleeping english at all and despite trying her best we had problems communicating.
• Joel (8/5): Good value accommodation - The location has good proximity to 2 metro stations, which can quickly get you into central or to Garibaldi. Temperature controlled accommodation was very clean and tidy. Though there is some noise, it is to be expected in a city like Napoli. Bed comfortable. A little difficult to find and meet the host. Many of the entrances look the same at the building and we struggled not being Italian speakers. The host did work to resolve this though and we were able to be greeted. €20 charge for linen was a suprise as did not see this listed on booking.com, overall this was still good value though.
• Lewis (5/5): Passable - The host was very polite and friendly and quick to reply to communications. She met us late on New Year's Eve to give us the key and surprised us with wine and homemade snacks. The apartment was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well and the shower was powerful and hot. Some areas were very dirty, particularly the kitchen and fridge. The fridge was very stained and a bad smelling brown gelatinous fluid had pooled in some of the trays. It needed to be cleaned down by us before use. The rest of the kitchen was also very grubby. The cleaning cloths and tea towels had not been washed from their previous use. The washing machine was not working and filled with dirty gray waste water when we tried to use it. The toilet also had problems. The plastic flush mechanism had previously been snapped and was just balancing precariously so as soon as we tried to use it, it just fell off. It also had a problem with the tank refill and would sometimes water would just drain endlessly until I took it apart and repaired it. There were ongoing building works blocking the stairwell and one day the lift broke down so we were stuck. It has the potential to be a very nice apartment with a proper clean and repair of a few issues.
