Guest Reviews
- Gülce (1/5): Horrific, horrible experience. - Location 5 hours prior to our arrival, they informed us that one of the bathroom is out of order, which was the main reason of our booking as 2 men, 1 woman. We said that its unacceptable, we seek the change of house. They recommended us a house which is 30 mins to our requested location and also that house was half price than we originally booked. We felt with no choice and accepted. Once we arrive, the nightmare started. The bathroom they said out of order was smelling shit. Real shit, no exaggeration. It was the master bathroom i will sleep. The basement was covered with shitty water, i will attach the picture. It was smelling like hell, i started crying and immediately contacted with them. I faced with ignorant attitude by saying that, 150£ will be compensated. %10 of what we paid :) . Hot water was not properly working, we had to take a shower with cold water. There was also heating problem which we spent lots of time with radiator to fix. There was even no place to put our toothbrushes or toothpastes, the towels that they provided were extreme dirty, we could not use. From A-Z, it was horrific experience. Any human being should be subjected with these behaviours.
- Caz (6/5): Shorter than expected due to relocation. - Location was excellent. Clean, tidy, fairly modern facilities. No heating or hot water. No maintenance available all weekend to fix. Had to be relocated. Inconvenient and took up over 5 hours of time should have been at an event.
- Catherine (5/5): Overall we enjoyed the stay., the location was great.A bit of maintenance in the bathroom was required and the bathroom - The location was a great base, so close to Covent Garden tube and the centre. The kitchen area was nice and small lounge was comfortable. Picking up the keys and dropping them off was a distance from the flat. Also the bathroom in the main bedroom was really noisy and the tiled panelling on the basin was broken exposing hardboard. It was scruffy. The bond was really high to stay there ( but it was refunded)
- Ingrid (4/5): - Excellent emplacement.
- Gemma (9/5): -
- Alex (7/5): - Emplacement, superficie Équipements défectueux (télévision, micro-onde)
- Claudiu (7/5): Big apartment in a very good location. BEWARE of fine print! - Excellent location.
Big 2 bedrooms apartment. Small bathrooms.
Little hard communication with the management company. They don't really read or respond to messages on booking. Mostly they send automated messages.
BEWARE of fine print! You have to pay a deposit(800 pounds in our case) and you don't get the instructions to get into the apartment until you pay the deposit! The instructions were sent to us in the morning of check in day! After they release the deposit, we got back 40 pounds less!
The keys are collected about 200m away from the property.
Price! We paid more for this accomodation, that we paid at Hilton in Hawaii or Caesar Palace in Las Vegas!
- Mo (8/5): Weekend in London - The location was perfect. Pretty hefty deposit for what it is. The response time from organisers were slow to okay at times. It would be great if they provided late check out, asked a few times but got ignored.. we would have been happy to pay the extra charge for late check out… if that option was available.

- Gígja (9/5): Great apartment in the perfect location! - Great spacious and bright apartment that fitted us well. Comfy beds. Great location! Easy comunication with the host and easy to acsess the keys.
After reading some of the negative feedbacks we were ready for anything but we did not experience that ourselves. No homeless people in the front and the apartment was on the second floor not the basement. Deposit was easy and came back 2 days later. Little bit weird smell in the apartment, not sure if it was cigarette smell coming in from the port or something. Did not bother us that much since we are not sensitive to that.
- Aysu (10/5): Exceptional - ıt ıs very center , u can walk everywhere.we love ıt so much and with chıld ıt was perfect to stay there .ı ll come back to london ın thıs property definitely
- Laurie (10/5): Exceptional - Location and construction were grest
- Maria (3/5): Arcore PREMIUM is a misnoma. - Location near to Covent Garden The entrance door was down a badly lit alley and to access the key I had to move a builders’ barricade.
We entered the apartment block and contrary to the photos ,discovered that the apartment was in the basement. On the stairs leading to the apartment there was a receptacle containing rat poison!
The apartment was dark and not light filled as the photos showed. All the blinds were down and when we tried to open them we were confronted by close proximity walls in a state of disrepair. On one side the small gap between the living room window and the wall was strewn with refuse.
The carpets throughout were stained. The kitchen work tops were stained. In one bedroom there was a bare ceiling light , neither bulb nor shade. The shower in the bathroom did not work properly. There were no instructions to manage the heating.
When I queried this with the company I was told that the price of the booking was commensurate with the location of the apartment!
It was not made clear from the website of ARCORE that a deposit of £800 was required to secure our stay even although the fee was paid in full. No one was available either when we arrived nor when we left to verify how we found the apartment and how we left it.
I understand that although it took my bank minutes to pay this sum it will take the company ARCORE approximately fourteen days.
Also extremely disappointed that Booking . Com have so far avoided replying to my complaints emails.
- Alexandra (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lundmark (2/5): Very poor - Location was good with walking distance to many sights Extremely bad service, responsiveness and help when having a need for support. Situated in the basement under a pub makes it noisy and also an alley where homeless people sleep. NO INTERNET (WiFi) and bad reception for mobile.
- Gillian (3/5): Disappointing - I met with the House Keeper who had little English
she gave us a key as we dropped off our luggage
we returned to the apartment at 3.30
No one came to check us in or show us how to use any of the equipment ( ie Microwave etc)
The Apartment was freezing
Wifi did not work initially
Rang the Office to help with the Heating
Had to go outside as there was no coverage
One of the Staff came by and put the Heating on while we were out at a show and when we returned the place was nice and warm
With regards to the hot water , showering was difficult as the water ran hot then cold mostly cold
The Water Tank in one of the Bedroom kept firing during the night from about 3 to 4 am
this made it hard to sleep
Also got a note re the refuge ( excess) to dispose of it
I did ask where were we suppose to put it, i didnt see an communal bins
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - What a fantastic hidden property in a quiet street but a busy area. The staff were super helpful, always important when it's later and you're just tired! Really great property, only challenge is the muted noise of the theatre but it stops at bedtime so lovely peace and quiet afterwards
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Location for central london attractions was excellent
- Julie (9/5): Lovely for a short break - Beautiful apartment , good location Nice & clean but did have a few mice droppings!
- Guanglong (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bethany (10/5): Very close to Covent Garden well appointed, clean, modern apartment - Very good standard. Lovely design.
- Sonya (9/5): Comfortable and convenient - Great location for walking with lots of places to eat nearby. Despite its city location, bedrooms are very quiet.
- Clive (6/5): Location only just about justified cost and downsides - Can’t get a better location Key handover process wasn’t great and we were asked for $1000 security deposit.
After we unpacked got a message to say someone was going to come and pick up laundry. No time specified. Main room bedding was 2 unmatched mattresses on floor level base pushed together. Heating broke down to either red hot or off
- Henry (4/5): No hot water tarnished an otherwise lovely flat. - Location was great, very clean. Was advertised as two double beds but was actually one double room and one twin room. We had no hot water for the duration of the stay. The owner said it would be fixed, sent someone, but didn’t check the issue had been resolved. I ended up fixing it myself with a YouTube tutorial, and the owner would not refund us any money and was non-responsive when asked about the situation again.
- Laurie (9/5): Superb -
- Konstantin (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location! Very helpful team. Good facilities
- Robbie (10/5): Great apartment, great location! - The apartment was amazing, with street views of Drury Lane. 7 minutes walk from Covent Garden Market. There are steep steps up to the apartment from the street. They were a little difficult for my mother.
- Nigel (8/5): Very good -
- Tina (9/5): great accommodation and would definitely stay there again! - fantastic location for shopping, entertainment and transportation. was a good sized apartment and very comfortable.
- Maureen (9/5): Superb -
- Gaynor (7/5): Good - Greeter was very pleasant and patient.
Great location.
Great cafe ,wineshop, bar and corner shop all on the same road.
Very clean and this was our second stay.
We will be back next year as the positives out way the negative. The main bedroom needs a new mattress.
We had to sleep on another duvet as the springs hurt.We woke up miserable.
The very, very strong smell of pot in the shared stairwell was unpleasant.
At 2am we had a girl on the buzzer asking to get in for 15mins a little unnerving.
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Hayden (8/5): Very good -
