Guest Reviews
- Alexis (1/5): Terrible - Host asked for ID via WhatsApp which was not standard practice.
Room had been double booked and was told until I called before booking as I had not received final details re code for room. Despite calling in the morning about ID the property owner did not tell me my room had been double booked.
Stayed in a room that was not the one booked
Above a pub that played loud music until very late. Such as shame as I had booked to see a show as a gift for my mother the next day and wanted to be rested.
Entrance to the property unkempt
Poor communication from property owner. Did not provide details or tell me my room had been double booked.
Despite double booking room no refund offered and have not acknowledge they out us above a pub that meant we were unable to sleep until early hours of the morning.
I have a joint condition and had to climb a steep ladder up to a mezzanine which was not ideal.i had planned in advance the room due to mine and my mother's requirements. So the change in room was far from ideal.

- Thandazile (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Lorraine (1/5): Terrible beds, dirty and broken switches, blinds and appliances - Location only It was terrible- very soft beds that dipped, filthy blinds, dangerous and broken sockets
- Nat (9/5): Good -
- Smiltė (4/5): Not worth the money - Only good location This property was absolutely not what we expected and saw in the photos. First of all, it was not cleaned properly, kitchen utilities are all dirty, carpet is also dirty. We feel like we were scammed because things we expected to get here were just broken and not working: microwave, stove were not working. Wifi wasn’t working. Bathroom sink and shower would always clog and the hot water in the shower would run out after 5minutes. The room was cold and noisy, you could hear everything what’s happening in the building and outside. You could see holes in doors, walls, door handle was broken. The room had a really bad smell coming from the bathroom. Overall, we expected more from this booking, it wasn’t cozy to sleep here thinking what else could be dirty or broken. And to add, after using kettle, fire alarm turned on, it was switched off quite fast but nobody came to turn it on to work. Prior our trip it was really difficult to get in touch with the property, only after booking.com was involved they answered.
- Sheridan (3/5): Disappointed with the reality of the room compared to the photos. Good location. - Location is very good. Bathroom is also very good. After paying for two beds, we were told at very short notice that the single bed would be replaced with a futon that was as hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable sleep for the third person in our room.
- Andre (1/5): Bad -
- Moises (1/5): Dump - Relatively close to public transport (about a 10-minute walk) The flat was dirty, there was a hair in my bed. The fridge was turned off and full of water. The shower didn’t work properly and the water was cold. Mattresses were very uncomfortable. The check in is at 4, which is already very late, and they made us wait in the rain for 30 minutes because they hadn’t sent the locker password. Stay away from this slime hole.
- Leshoan (8/5): Very good -
- Jessica (8/5): Great value - The location was excellent! Very close to a train station. Really liked how quick the response was from the host. It was very small however that is expected for the location.
- Aamani (4/5): Disappointing - -clogged sink
- heater not working
- congested room
- Kent (6/5): Pleasant - If you’re looking for a good value in lodging, than this place might fit the bill, but you will have to sacrifice a few things. My stay was for 2 weeks and this unit was very reasonable priced. The unit was clean and looked good, but is on the smaller side. Pictures online make it seem bigger than it is. The kitchenette is small, but stocked with the basics. The noise levels from the construction site across the street are quite loud and bothersome. There is also a food distribution warehouse across the street that has trucks coming and going starting at 3:00 am. Even with the windows closed, the noise levels can disturb your sleep. The unit also seems to always be very warm despite the heater being turned off and cooler weather. This unit is located about 15 minutes from the nearest underground station. Also, people should be aware that there are 4 flights of stairs that you have to use to get to the unit. The water in the shower is hard to regulate and is either hot or cold.
