• Yasmine (5/5): Would not return again in future - The only good thing about this property was the area and how easy it was to take a bus to the train station and any other surrounding areas The heating is great until you take a shower for about 15 minutes and then the water gets cold and you get a message on the thermostat saying that there is low system pressure and the light remains red, the amenities was dirty such as the kettle having an immense amount of limescale inside that I had to personally clean and the washing machine was beyond dirty to which I also had to clean. The bed was poor, the mattress sinks in the middle and the pillows are not comfortable what so ever. If you’re looking to cook within the property then you do not have much to work with. The bathroom is OK but the shower head has so much limescale that additionally needs to be cleaned. For the amount of money paid you’d think that basic things like this would be cleaned.
• Maureen (5/5): Quiet, safe area with an extremely pleasant and helpful host - Quiet, safe and convenient for our purposes. It was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The host was an extremely pleasant person - very helpful and polite The double bed was incredibly uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The pillows were below standard as well so all in all not a good sleeping experience. The carpet in the bedroom is damaged, old and grubby and needs to be replaced. The shower head holder needs to be replaced.
• Tie (1/5): A very unpleasant stay which was not completed due to lack of heating - The person who appeared to be the host was a man, not Marlone. When I booked the apartment, I gave a time frame of my arrival, complying with booking.com’s regulations. However, to his convenience, the host asked to give him a specific time of arrival. When I refused to do so, he tried to negotiate with me, in order to impose his own rules. I informed Customer Service about that. They called him but he did not answer. They sent him at least four messages, but he did not reply to none of them. Ηe claimed that there was an error, but this is ludicrous, as he could phone or send an email. When they gave him a warning and someone called him again, explaining to him the booking.com’s rules about check in, he answered “we are not a hotel”… He finally complied to the platform’s regulations, after receiving another warning, one month after the booking. In essence the apartment has no heating, as when you consume some hot water (for taking a shower or washing the dishes) heating goes off for many hours. The image of a sink appeared at the thermostat every time heating went off (photo). The first two days I was very few hours in the apartment and I used small quantities of hot water. The third day I had a problem. I sent a message to the host. He replied next day, after 15 hours and after having received a message from booking.com. He said that “it turns off once it hits the optimal temperature of 25 degrees”! I replied that this is absurd, explaining again that there was a big problem, making clear again its cause and that temperature inside the apartment was below 17 grades (exterior temperature 2 grades) and that a second very cold night was coming. He proposed me to restart the boiler, which did a few times without any result. One day before my departure I was obliged to leave the apartment, because I did not want to freeze anymore. The morning I left the apartment (two days after I reported the problem for the first time), he proposed me to use the two small air (fan) heaters that were kept inside a drawer (photo)… There is no dining table, therefore there is no dining area. There is a very small and short plastic table with one (1) chair (photo), which by no means can be called a dining table. The bed’s mattress sags a lot in the middle, because of its quality and mostly because wooden slats underneath the mattress sag too. For about 36 hours the elevator was off. As some neighbors said, it happens pretty often. The surface under the sofa’s cushions was dirty (photo). Some of the distances cited in “What’s nearby” section, are inaccurate (e.g. Hotwings Fried Chicken, Essex Food Wines, e.tc.).

• Lindsey (10/5): Can’t wait to stay again! - The kitchen had excellent facilities, there were extra supplies such as washing machine tablets, extra toilet rolls, dish towels, cloths, bedding. All things not are not often provided. There were no faults, I will absolutely be staying again!
