Guest Reviews
- Edwin (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you! - Very cozy and clean! Great host and great communication. Will definitely stay here again.
- Elaine (8/5): - Location was great, short walk to streatham high street and access to the 159 bus that takes you straight into Westminster / Oxford street
Home was very cozy, with all the amenities you need, and also access to a lovely garden
Bathroom / Shower was great! (not always a given in London) As it is a basement flat, the noise of people in the flat above was sometimes quite loud if they were to be walking around during the night.
The exterior access steps down to the front door are worn, broken, wobbly which at night were a bit of a hazard

- Adhil (10/5): A fully equipped apartment in a quiet district of Stretham from which to explore London. - It was the home away from home that a traveller can only dream of. The attention to detail is superb. Every little need is catered for. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and spacious, it is a dream apartment for a single person (or even a couple). It is set in a quiet district of Streatham, with ample parking close to the property. Yet the shopping district, buses and trains are all within a short walking distance. WiFi was superb, as were the choices on the television. Nice little touches included tea, coffee, a coffee-maker, and a few snacks to nibble on. Lovely garden with a cosy little alcove for your morning cup of coffee and a chat with your neighbour over the fence. I loved it. I loved everything. Actually felt more at home than I do in my own home, LOL.

- Luís (9/5): Superb -
- Sybren (10/5): Exceptional - It was great having a full apartment in a very quiet street, but very close to lots of activity in Streatham high street. Connections to central London were also good.
- Boyko (10/5): Great value for money! - It’s extremely convenient and cosy! Host were very nice and responsive :) There is no underground in Streatham but the train and bus are also quite convenient.
- Trianni (10/5): Had a very nice time, already recommended to friends planning to visit London. - It was clean, cozy and close to home, perfect location as I could easily get public transportation after checking out and it was walking distance from home so I could attend Christmas dinner fairly easily. Shower soaked the floor whenever we used it
- Pavel (10/5): Excellent! - Vert cozy apartment. Excellent renovation and design. Exceptionally designed bath room. Especially liked the garden with a well-groomed lawn. The house is close to the public transport and street with local shops, but still quiet and with a free parking.
- Martin (9/5): Great London stay - Tastefully decorated and spacious
Good to have access to a garden area
Great access to public transport to get into London Noisy upstair neighbours at times and the vinyl floors were squeaky
- Esen (9/5): A relaxing stay at the Lavender Den 💜 - A beautiful place to stay with lovely homely touches. Very clean and cosy inside with great transport links to central London. The hosts were fantastic too! I’ll be recommending the Lavender Den to everyone!
- D (9/5): All in all I would recommend the Lavender Den as a comfortable and convenient spot in Streatham. - Location gave us easy access to the shops which was critical for this visit. The place was spotlessly clean and has all the accessories that one would need for a comfortable stay.
Everything was great and we really appreciate your saving our cake from being lost to us! Noisy neighbours upstairs, probably the house conversion has thin walls! Paint smell in bathroom still quite strong when we arrived, despite open window, but we appreciate the effort with the decor!
Bed a bit low for me, but comfortable enough. Kitchen a bit cramped, but we managed.
Steps down to the flat possibly could do with a rail for slippery weather.
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good -
- Joshua (7/5): Good -
- Takhmina (10/5): Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable and cozy apartment. - Very nice and cozy place to stay in London. Good location, just one ride (3-4 stops) from Streatham Hill/Streatham Common to Victoria London station. Lots of places for food and shops around. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable apartment, has everything you need for short and long stays. Friendly and helpful staff. I could hear my neighbors above.
- Timothy (8/5): We had a really enjoyable stay in London and were very pleased with our accomodation. It suited us. - Good value and clean and well fitted out. nice and warm and cosy. Safe and secure . Very close to easy transport options and local shops with a variety of options and food shopping. Nice bakery cafe around the corner. Maybe a little far out....just. The stairs a little precarious at night as no porch light
- Larry (7/5): cute place but lower ground floor steps below street do below a house. can hear all the steps of whoever lives in main h - nice kitchen and bath. low ceiling, little airflow ground floor unit low quality mattress and sofa not comfortable to sit.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Amal (9/5): Superb - Lovely interiors and cozy vibe. Perfect to relax
- John (4/5): Disappointing - The property was very well appointed. With nice touches like biscuits, tea etc. Nicely decorated, and well located. When we arrived there was heavy duty drilling from next door. The next day when I opened the curtains workmen were taking down the fence between us and next door. I asked what was happening and they said they were going to build an extension!!! Then a digger appeared and started digging a trench at our side. We went out for the day and when we got back they were starting to erect scaffolding outside the property. I phoned Vilma and told her what was happening and she agreed to give us some money back for the inconvenience. I told her that they should not have rented the property with all that work taking place. In my opinion this property should not be rented again until the work is completed.
- Veronica (8/5): I would recommend a stay here if you are visiting family in this area of London. it’s a great location! - Lavender Den was wonderfully quiet, despite being close to a main road. it was well equipped and well appointed. my only criticism would be that the bath towels were way too small!
- Suresh (7/5): Good -
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Everything I needed was there. The outside space.
- Lesley (10/5): great location and spotlessly clean great toiletries left and biscuits - The property was spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location. for pet owners
The garden appears to be split into 3 areas I assume for 3 different owners. the areas are not secured
if you take Dogs they need to go out on leads otherwise they can easily access other peoples gardens
- Sally (9/5): happily recommend and would book again. note- booking.com I’m still waiting for refund of one night you owe me! - location was great. very clean and fitted out with all the necessities for a comfortable stay unfortunately cleaners left behind some used towels
- Noel (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
