- Deanne (6/5): Great location and cute flat with heaps of potential. - Great location to Central London. Adequate space for short term stay. A little more effort to make it more physically comfortable- better couch, more casual seating eg arm chairs in case more than two people stay, so you can sit comfortably in the living area, cushions on the hard wooden dining seats. New mattresses as they are rock hard. So much potential with a few quick fixes to make this really great.
A heads up on just how noisy the pub is until 3am! But that goes with the location and no fault of the flat.
- Ashraful (8/5): Very good -
- Grant (8/5): Very good - Great location and nice sized property TV didn’t work properly
- Troy (8/5): Very good - Location, plenty of room. Kitchen fridge and facilities good. Getting access had some drama, bit quickly resolved
- William (5/5): Passable - Good location Having to pick up keys from 1/2 a mile away from the unit
No instructions on how to open the main gates
- Zane (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (1/5): Awful. - The location, only. The apartment was big and spacious. Beautiful windows. No heat, no hot water - in the middle of November. Unresponsive host for 2/3 days of our stay to address the issue, with the excuse that he was traveling. No instructions, no manual. The keys were bent; trouble to get in. You had to pick up and return the keys from a location 10 min walk from the apartment; it was very hard with the luggage to go back and forth. We had to look for another place to stay. I couldn’t wait to write a bad review after what we experienced with the cold for the first 2 days. Still trying to recover.
- Jane (7/5): Good - Beds were comfy with nice bedding. The location was great although it was noisy at night over the weekend. I loved the fact there was a security gate to get into the yard before you enter the flat which made you feel safe/secure. The shower was leaking from the head therefore reducing the amount of water getting to you. There was no plug in the kitchen sink, therefore had to constantly run the water when washing up which felt like a waste. (these are both quick fixes and possible something the owner hasn't realised) There was no heating on and we were cold in the evening...it was the first cold night I think the UK has had in a while, there was a thermostat there but wasn't working. To collect and drop off the key it was 0.4mile away, not too far but further than I expected as the write up says its close by.
- Agnieszka (10/5): Lovely stay and will be coming back in October!! - Lovely basic clean flat. I often come here for work and Soho is right in the centre of everything. Lots of bars and restaurants to relax in and close to three tube stations Nothing to complain about
- Rob (1/5): Very disappointed - Location Filthy - dangerous electrics - no wifi - very tatty
- Kamel (3/5): Bad - The location Every thing
- Emma (8/5): Perfect accommodation for a weekend stay in London. - The location was absolutely perfect. It was a little tatty.
- Mariamkhan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celso (7/5): Good - Location Dirty sheets, no hand towel, key pick up/ return
- Salli-anne (1/5): Bad - The location was perfect for what we had planned. Theatres and food.
The fridge was clean The apartment was dirty, poorly maintained, low standard of beds and bedding. No curtains in living/3rd bedroom area.
There were cupboards in the entrance held shut with elastic/hair bands.
The bathroom had mold and rusting in different areas. Poor ventilation, toilet seat damaged and dirty. The shower was dirty and poorly maintained and there was a filthy shower mat at the entrance to it.
Curtains in bedrooms were not hung properly and didn't fit the windows.
Windows were filthy, on the inside.
Kitchen sink had no plug and there was no tea towel.
Flooring throughout was damaged and uneven, poorly finished and dirty.
In the living/3rd bed room area, there is a wardrobe that is locked and dirty quilt and pillows thrown on top. The living area is not comfortable and the whole apartment was a huge disappointment.
The light switch in one of the bedrooms was incomplete and unsafe.
There were various wires running around the living area that were not fixed in containment.
- Ryan (10/5): Great location in the heart of London's Soho - Great location with wonderful views of the bustling Soho from both windows. Carnaby street and Oxford street right around the corner. Some occasional noise from the street on the weekend which is expected - so if a light sleeper perhaps bring earplugs. Key collection could be a little closer to the property.
- Leon (8/5): Great weekend, great location lovely and clean. Thank you we will definitely book again. - Location was fantastic, place was very clean. Beds were a little small, but nothing to complain over when you take into account everything else.
- Eoghan (8/5): Very good - Great location, very central. Clean apartment. I would have been nice to have tea bags.
- Chanelle (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (7/5): Did the job, pleasant enough. - Location was great, so central and east to walk most of places. Bed was super uncomfortable in one of the rooms.
No washing powder or general household supplies.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Zoe (7/5): I would stay here again as the location was just perfect for us. - The location couldn’t have been better and the flat itself was tidy. Toilet roll etc. was all provided despite reading some reviews which said that it wasn’t. Rooms were a good size. The sofa bed was rock solid and duvet, pillows and bed sheets were not provided for it which was very disappointing and extremely uncomfortable. Especially as we had already contacted the owner previously to mention we needed it to sleep 2. The latch on the door is broken but the door did seem to lock automatically.
- Iulia (10/5): everything was great - everything was Great, the location, the house very clean and comfortable, I want to congratulate this owner or manager who dealt with our accommodation, for honesty for promptness (whenever I had a question or needed something he was there for us with advice and help and immediate answers) I forgot my watch and glasses when I left, the next day I realized I had forgotten these things but this owner was there for me and helped me recover them very quickly, he sent the code of the lock where my things were stored, I received this information very quickly and I was able to recover my things, I just want to thank him!!! so, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet house, an owner who answers your phone when you have a problem and who really helps you solve your problem, this is the perfect place...thank you
- Nicole (8/5): Amazing location and great for a short stay to get you started on a holiday in London! - Location outstanding and it was all very easy. WIFI was super handy. Owners were very responsive and helpful in the lead up to our stay. The place just had some broken items like cracked floors and was not as clean as we would have liked.
- Suraj (5/5): Great location, substandard facilities - Location Furniture
- Chidwick (6/5): Pleasant - Great location, nice little flat, clean Fetching keys from Londis shop, no toilet roll or tea/coffee/drinking water facilities, needs a revamp
- Piano (1/5): Shocking experience! - Location before we moved in… If you are thinking of booking this property, stay well clear! Our stay in this ‘lovely flat in Soho’ was a business trip and we hoped that it would make our lives easier if we didn't have to commute to London on daily basis working full days in the city (especially as my wife is heavily pregnant). Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed by the experience, at a premium price.
For the first two days we were left with no hot water or heating, with only 16C in the flat, no possibility of a shower and, after a phone call with the plumber, only 1 hr of functioning boiler, which then sadly failed again. At one point we had only scolding hot water in the tap and no cold water at all...
The plumber returned to the flat on three consecutive days, doing his best to fix the fault and left around 9pm or later on each day. This meant that once returning from work, we had hardly any access to the kitchen to prepare dinner, were confined to a tiny diner with my pregnant wife, my mother-in-law and 3-year old daughter, who one evening slipped on the water from a house pipe and hit her head (thankfully she is now ok). Multiple radiators were taken off and put back on again in various rooms, amongst plumbing equipment, rubber hoses and rubbish etc strewn across the flat, causing tripping hazards and obvious health and safety violations. We were all thankful to the plumber, who did his best to minimise the disruption, but during our stay, the flat was mostly in an uninhabitable state and certainly not worth the premium we paid for the Central London location for the very questionable and sub-standard living conditions we were presented with. Every day, my 3-year old daughter kept finding small screws and remnants of the plumbing equipment left over and thankfully we were there to stop her from ingesting them.
- Yves-marie (4/5): oversold - The location is great but may be a bit noisy the location to pick up the keys is far away, the apartment is not in good condition, floorings are damaged, some furnitures are broken. the intercom device rings for no reason whenever someone gets into the building.
- Jade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vitória (8/5): good value for money - The location is perfect and the flat is good sized very well organized. since it's right downtown it's quite noisy so be prepared with your earplugs.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Simona (4/5): ok for one night, music long into the night - city center noisy street, bad windows
- Marjolet (2/5): Needs a lot of improvement. - Near the market Not clean at all. The pillows and bed smells. The carpet is full of hair. There was an ongoing laundry in the washing machine and the owner even ask us to put it in the dryer (how inappropriate and inconsiderate). The place has no signage, very difficult to find.Moreso, the owner keeps on asking for the property keys which was left where instructed as we checked out, then asking for additional £75 as apparently he can't find the keys. Be careful with those magic keys.
- Abdullah (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (6/5): Pleasant - location needs new bedding. need to stop the entry gate buzzer going off - it is loud and right under the bedroom.
- Harry (9/5): Very happy with my stay - Great location, really nice flat, very comfortable beds and sofa, facilities were good There was a cockroach by the front door, it could have come in from outside.... I don't think it was already in the flat. Stayed on a friday night and there are a few bars located outside so there was some noise when trying to sleep, but this is expected on a friday anywhere, especially soho.
- Pablo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jarrah (10/5): absolutely loved my stay here, it was amazing value, comfortable and clean. thank you! - loved my stay here, would 100% come back! there wasn’t any wifi
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant - The location in SOHO was great. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well. The noise from the streets is very loud and rather constant throughout the night, even in the very late to early hours. Sleep is distrupted very frequently.
- Ahmad (5/5): Passable - location beds are too dirty
