Guest Reviews
- John (8/5): - Amazing loft room , great location , beautiful views, very modern and exceptionally clean, good comfortable beds. On arrival, we were expecting a reception, we had to ask a local to call as we didn't have phones .
This was 2 p.m., we finally got an email around 3 pm, with password and codes to get into building and room , ( it would have been nice to get this at least 24 hours before or an email saying we would receive an email once room was available)
- Shareen (10/5): Bartal Apartment my home in Prague - Location was great. Very nearby train station and museum and Wenceslas Square. Within walking distance to the old town too and Primark! So many shops nearby and places to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment is really a great find. The toaster and cutlery and crockery were not as clean as I liked but it's easily rectified. There's too many stairs which made it inconvenient for people with huge luggages.
- Gergana (10/5): - Great location
- roger_bl (8/5): Central appartment - Location, comfy bed, nice shower Slow elevator

- Nej (10/5): - We liked how clean and modern the apartment was. The location was amazing, near everyting.
- QueenAng (9/5): Great location, would book again - Fantastic location, absolutely unbeatable.
Super clean, bright, comfortable small studio apartment, everything you need for a short city break. Big bathroom, comfy bed, but on the smaller side.
Great view over the city and you even see the castle in the distance.
You hear the trains just below, but totally okay for me.
The ramen bar next door is great, and around the corner is a good little spot for coffee and croissants.
Easy access with codes sent via the app before you check in, self check in made easy for all. If you have mobility issues, this place is probably not for you. I have a wonky knee/leg, travel with a crutch and knee brace and I struggled a bit.
The apartment is on the 6th floor. There is a small lift, but it only goes to 5 and you have to go up one flight of stairs to 6th floor. You also have to either go up two flights of stairs to the first floor elevator stop or up one and then down one to the ground floor elevator stop when entering - the lift is not directly reachable from the main entrance. It's totally doable, though, unless you travel with big luggage and/or prams etc.
- Vladimíra (10/5): Zatím nejlepší ubytování v Praze, co jsme byli. - Krásný apartmán v klidném překrásném domě v centru Prahy - 5 minut chůze od Václavského náměstí, poblíž hlavního vlakového nádraží. Vybavení není co vytknout, moderně zařízeno a vybaveno, všude čisto. Naprostá spokojenost. Z okna apartmánu č.606 úžasný výhled na Prahu /viz. foto/. Rádi se sem určitě vrátíme.

- Larocque (6/5): Ville magnifique - Très, très bruyant Air climatisée
- Līva Emīlija (7/5): - Very nice view out of the window, accessible location, the whole building kept in great shape, and all the mentioned facilities were included; the check-in process was simple. There were small complimentary drinks (not a wine bottle or beer, though, as shown in the picture) and coffee capsules. Two single mattresses on a queen-sized bed, and the refrigerator was falling out of its place. Some furniture seemed a bit unstable, dusty, windows were pretty dirty. The flow from the conditioner was barely noticeable; open windows worked better. Some minor things were missing to make the stay more pleasant, like paper towels in the kitchen, cooking oil.
- Kristina (8/5): We would return to stay at this apartment - Central location, walking distance to all major sights, and also lesser explored areas where there were fewer tourists and more locals It was top hot in the room to sleep without windows open, but the noise from the street and train station was loud. Lots of construction nearby during the time of our stay (May-June 2025)
- Richard (4/5): Frustrating & disappointing aspects just made for a neg. view of this facility & how managed - It was an elevated apartment not too far from the railway station.
A complimentary bottle of wine was provided upon arrival. • the check-in process was of a poor standard. Instructions were provided only at the last minute. The address location info. was very poor as no specific drawings, property entrance front door photo or map location sketch were given. There is NO property name sign (Bartal Apartments) on the building at all. This also was confusing & useless info. There were two separate front door electronic code units but no instruction which one was to be used.
• there was NO iron provided. The owner was begged for help but didn’t. I mean, how much does an electric iron cost ??!! Omg! This was incredibly disappointing for travellers who have clothing crumpled from packing. I have NEVER had this issue anywhere ever before now. Poor judgement.
• there are NO blackout or dark blinds on the 3 ceiling / roof windows so it was like camping out but in a room. First light to wake you up & last light before it’s dark at night. Great if you like this!
• attention to cleaning detail could be better. Dust on various surfaces, toaster & microwave not cleaned properly.
• it’s stated that there is a “drying rack” but only a hat stand available.
• No tissues or paper towel provided nor any tea towels. Another basic omission!
- Ponjavic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eleanor (8/5): Great view and location! - Great set up, perfect sized space for a city break. Amazing views and central location. Owners very accommodating with check in and out, highly recommend. Booking mentions that toiletries are included but there were very very limited.
- Alexandros (8/5): I recommend it - The location was very nice, next to metro station. I see complains about noise of train station, but it was nothing that bothered me. Also clean. I think the temperature was a bit low and i couldn t find how i can change it. Actually it was like it was locked on a certain temperature and that made the staying there lacking of coziness
- Ignacio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sashitha (1/5): Horrible. I feel sick. I have more pics and video to share. Booking.com pls ensure that these matters don’t happen to a - The bathroom It was extremely dusty. Not cleaned and I feel sick breathing the extremely dusty place. I had to clean the place and wipe it all up. It was extremely warm and when Inform the host he said it’s that way or open the windows. When windows are being open it gets dusty and extremely noisy. Host didn’t reply any of my text and email till about 9pm and I was stranded outside in the dark with no confirmation of the door code and apartment no entry. Very unreliable and I didn’t feel safe as a traveller and luckily I manage to get another person’s help to call the local number as my phone had died and waited to be charged. It was very risky to feel stranded there at night. And the entrance didn’t have “ Barla Apartments”… so it was very difficult to find the place at night. And no lights at the entrance. Text the host that the place is extremely dust and sent photos but he didn’t reply it. I had to use my own cloth and stockings to wipe and clean up the place.
- Edwin (8/5): Was very OK! - No breakfast, was not included. I knew this before and absolutely not a problem. The length of the bed and sheets. For an average person it would be OK, but I am a bit taller than the average person (194cm). But this happens on many hotels , apartments etc. Unfortunately I am a bit used to that.
Maybe a tip, a bigger bed would be a nice extra selling point for future (taller) guests to book.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Location, cleanliness, easy check in & out. All amenities we could possibly ask for. Apartment was on the 6th floor, during our stay the elevator broke two times, which was slightky unpleasant but nothing to do with the owner of course.
- Maéna (9/5): Superb -
- Sebastian (10/5): Amazing 5 days spent in Prague - The location and the view were amazing which made my holiday. Everything was so close. Also the ramen restaurant next to the entry of the building was really worth checking out. Internet and all extras in room were good. Will defintely consider coming again!
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Great location. Lovely little apartment Room was very hot and with the windows open to cool the room it was then very noisy. (Quiet with the window shut)
- Marina (8/5): Very good - Love the location and place! The apartament was cozy and value for money.
- Anonymous (7/5): Overall a perfect apartment if it was perfectly clean - The property has everything you need from kitchenware to everyday essential items like hairdryer and a coffee machine. It has nice view and overall is really comfortable to stay The only thing we didn’t like was that the property could’ve have been a lilt bit cleaner. The towels for example had a weird smell and the water that passed through them was grey
- Bas (8/5): Very good - The view In the summer it is very hot in the room.
- Artjom (8/5): overall all good, no problems w check-in and locating the apartments; price/quality is at around 80% ratio - Good location, close to train station (if you want to travel to other cities) and Old Prague; great view to the National Museum and old city the bed might be more comfy, some furniture needs a “refreshment”; water pressure is weak in the shower, sometimes hot water just stops coming; trains are noisy if you want to sleep with open window
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Great location. Apartment was clean and as advertised It’s right beside the train station so it’s quite noisy late at night/early in the morning.
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location with amazing view from the apartment windows. A little loud due to to proximity to the train station but it's not a deal breaker. Comfortable bed and big bathroom.
- Telles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geo_10 (8/5): Very good - Nothing bad to say about the apartment, it was nice, clean and comfy. The view from the window was very nice too. Everything was really good! There is a big disadvantage of the apartment, especially for the region that it is. It’s really very noisy place, either the day or the night ! Very good point , close to the centre and to the Main Street with a lot of shops , but very bad point because of the noise there , every day and every night we were listening to the police and ambulance sirens, I don’t know why in this city all the time we listen sirens, really ! It’s crazy! But anyway, in conclusion this is the only disadvantage of the apartment place. If you don’t have any problem with the noise, I suggest it!
- Dominik (10/5): Beautiful apartment with brilliant location - Briliant location with perfect infrastucture (railway station, museum, grocery store, old town within walking distance). Beautiful apartment. There was no
