There is also a building boom going on throughout Sydney we don't refund for construction noise if anything is going on in the neighborhood however if there is work being done next door or in the same building we will have a note in our summary.

- Adam (5/5): - There is no ceiling fans or air conditioning in this apartment. This is not stated on the booking.com ad. you have to open all the winds and doors to let fresh air in to cool down / reduce the stuffiness. This lets all the mosquitoes in. the Back door opens onto a construction site, where the workers arrive/start at 6am. so you can't leave the back doors open for fresh air. the internal windows don't open properly, and I had to prop open with an old hair spray can I found. the portable pedestal fans provided are inadequate and barely work. location on the booking.com website is wrong as well, it indicates it's close to the park/metro station, it's actually at the fair end of Windmill st. a bit more of a walk with luggage than expected from the metro station.

- John (8/5): A great location to visit Sydney with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay. - Location, location, location. The heart of The Rocks. Close to all transportation. Great shipping and restaurants within short walking distance. Unit has been remodeled and is modern with new appliances and washer/dryer. The bed was too hard. Construction site outside bedroom window where they started work shortly after 7am

It has now been updated after complaiming.Clearly stated that no refund would be given so had no other option but to stay unless we spent the same ammount on something else. Contacted the host through the stay but got nowhere.was told the price had been reduced due to the building work, absolutely untrue! Was also told that it was cheap for the locstion.Other reviews are correct.Inabke to utilise the balcony because of noise & dust. The bed was so hard & uncomfortable, & headboard smelt of dirt.Sash windows were dangerous.1 was held by a small bolt & the cord on the other was threadbare & could have snapped at any time so didn't attempt to open it. Soft furnishings soiled. Be wise & Spend your hard-earned money on something better! The host will prob reply with a different version & be defensive but look at the other listing's in the same building & you will see the same photo s of building work.

Extreme Lärmbelästigung durch Baugrube direkt vor Schlafzimmer durch massive Baumaschinen zur Felssprengung/-Abtragung - auch am Samstag… Eine Vorwarnung wäre obligat gewesen - mit Preisreduktion!

- Ken (9/5): Great apt in the heart of Sydney - Location, location, location! 😊 Very nice upscale apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. Lot's to do here, and within walking distance of much more. Public transit points also within a short walking distance. No screens on windows, we had a problem with flies. Hardly worth mentioning, though. the pro's definitely outweigh this con.

- Katie (4/5): Would not recommend this place to anyone no matter how ideal the location. - The location was ideal in the Rocks. The hosts never responded to two messages regarding the lock system that was not working for me and caused a lot of grief trying to come in and out of home. The initial correspondence makes you think you are dealing with actual homeowners but it feels like it just bots or a third party service. I received an email “hoping my stay was comfortable “ and responded with a question about the lock system it was never returned. I emailed twice and got no response. Also, the bed was very uncomfortable. It was a very thin and flat mattress. The blankets smelled moldy also.
