• Emma (1/5): Would never ever stay again. Loud neighbours, dirty, cave-like environment,extremely unfriendly host - Nothing. We arrived into the house and it was extremely old fashioned, which you can get over. However, on further inspection, I was absolutely horrified. The bedrooms had ants crawling on the walls/windows/beds. Then we entered the bathroom where the cupboards were full of mould, shaven hair, and old razors and toothbrushes. Cockroaches coming up the drain in the bathroom, dirty cutlery/plates/mugs. And if that wasn’t enough, the upstairs neighbours were extremely loud, waking all four of us in the middle of the night. These concerns we raised straight away to the host and shockingly, she was very unaccommodating, putting the blame on us, calling us ‘liars’. Very very disappointing, uncomfortable, and unsafe stay in Rockdale.

• Ambika (4/5): - This is allocated near town and stations The house looks very old and dirty inside, with a strong smell of mold. All the linens were extremely old, and I felt very uncomfortable using anything in the house. Honestly, this has been one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in my life — I’m really sorry to say, but I do not like staying there at all.

• April (6/5): Comfy, secure,easy to public transport, old fashioned - Plenty of room for the family, 10/10 for access to public transport, convenience of own washing machine and dryer. As long as you like a old Sydney town vibe, very out of date, you get what you pay for

It was so dusty, poor ventilation, no exhaust fan in toilet, oven aircon ( only in living room not available in other rooms) ets are in poor condition. Every thing is dusty and sofas in rooms r so old and dirty. Cockroaches and spiders are common there. Some doors r broken in some places. The house has to be cleaned properly .

• Brechtefeld (7/5): It was ok. - I liked the host. Very friendly and easy to contact when I'm having issues with the units. The unit wasn't cleaned properly. Bed, floor and dishes were dirty.

• Dan (4/5): Disappointing - Owner was fast in replying messages. Heaters were good. There was no hair dryer, customers should bring one if needed. All electric will stop working if use more than two devices. For example, it is not okay if turning on two heaters in rooms and boiling waters in kitchen. The room was not soundproof as the neighbors downstairs was noisy.

• Louise (4/5): Maybe good for backpackers - The location was great. The dead cockroaches, caked on dust and damaged furniture. We didn't expect 5 star but we did expect the light to be changed when it stopped working on the second day of a week long stay. We notified the owner who said they would get it replaced and to use the bedroom lamp instead. Young children using a pedestal basin with a lamp balancing on the edge for baths showers etc for 5 days was very frustrating. Only one lamp in the whole apartment so small children had nothing for night time. Was told there was a clothes dryer outside however we could not find it and couldn't get to the clothesline for the knee high grass. No pegs provided anyway.

• Adenwala (4/5): Very old and dated place. - The property is extremely dated and needs alot of work. More lighting, windows and bathroom and kitchen are ancient. Location was fine but this property needs a major re hall. Not value for money at all.

• Rachel (1/5): Disgusting experience - In all honesty there wasn't anything positive in this accommodation Everything. The smell. The dirt. The unusable oven still had oven cleaner in it. Open windows that couldn't be closed. Mould on the kitchen windows. I am Anaphylactic to mould. Hair smeared on bathroom wall above mirror. 1 quilt for 2 adults and a young child. Quilt also had a burn on it. Filthy once light coloured leather couch was filthy and ripped. The list goes on...... absolutely heart broken. Still expected to just accept the money taken before our stay. We booked for a week. Stayed 1 night as we had no where to go. We left before 9am next morning. Owner can't see the problem. Many more photos but can only use 4.... owner blocked us from cancelling and won't refund our money

• Daniel (1/5): Terrible. - No TV remote for two days- no compensation offered. Building did not match the advertisement. No parking available. The noise from top apartment was terrible…. We should hear them going to the toilet!
• Scott (7/5): Good - Excellent welcome and flexible time to check in and leave. A few tired fittings, like tap handle in shower. T.v. remote batteries not working. Basics were all there, but limited cutlery for a small family.
• Kaye (1/5): Disappointing - Location was fine but traffic from the busy road was at times annoying Place was not clean. On arrival toilet was filthy. Owner came and cleaned both toilet and mould in bathroom sink. Overall the place was not clean. Sheets were clean but blankets provided were very old and had hair and fluff all over them. I did point this out to the owner who responded by saying that she had trouble getting cleaners. Overall a pretty disappointing place.
