- Marc (3/5): Disappointing, loud, nice balcony - We liked that had a leave balcony and close to cafes and restaurants. It seems the property could be better taken care off. The photos lols good but in person looks like a rundown executive apartment. The balcony was dirty, dusty everywhere. They could give more love to the place. What could be better: Two of the 4 plastic chairs in the dining table were broken as if someone too heavy has sat there and pushed back so we couldn’t use those. The coach is extremely uncomfortable. The shower has a poor design that every time we had a shower water would go everywhere and create paddles. The apartment is extremely dark all day. It seems whoever is in charge of the cleaning doesn’t do a great job as it was poorly vacuumed when we arrived under coach and other big furniture. Surry Hills is a trendy and cool suburb, this apartment is right next to a very popular venue called the Beresford so over the weekend it was extremely loud, if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet location this is not it. Lastly, the day we checked out we realised that evening we left something at the property, something valuable to us and in the evening we sent a message asking about it. It’s been two days and management has not replied nor acknowledge our message however. asked for a 10/10 review. We knew someone else was staying after us as we tried to extend our stay one more night but couldn’t. The fact that management didn’t flag this means whoever cleaned the apartment didn’t report it to management so we have lost what we left. We know is in part our fault as we left it but we have also stayed in other accommodation around the world where similar situation happened and management called us to tell us and even post it to us. We felt extremely valued and happy with the care and honesty of the property managers. You can tell a lot about property management by who they hire to do the cleaning and how honest they are and if they reply to you or not. Very disappointing.
