No stairs to climb as well, it is on ground floor The stuff were late to reply, if at all... We had an issue with the key box code and it took a lot of effort to enter the house... Other than this, great place, albeit expensive

• Patrick (9/5): Nice Apartment, quiet location. - The apartment is appointed nicely, set up exactly as depicted on booking.com. The layout is perfect for a small family of 3 with a proper headroom on the first floor and a lofted bed above the cooking area. The apartment is quiet as it is located in an area “off the beaten path”. There are several restaurants and groceries a short walk from the apartment. Communication with the host was limited at best. When instructions for check in were provided they were accurate. We communicated we were arriving from Bratislava on New Year’s Eve and had provided the host our mandatory traveler information per Vienna city requirements 1 week prior and were told to expect check in instructions the evening prior to our arrival. Instructions arrived 2 hrs prior to check in. Any other time this would have been fine, but on New Years Eve it was a bit unnerving to not have check in instructions prior to arrival with a 3pm check in……if for some reason there were a problem our recourse to find an alternate place to stay or fix the problem would be very limited.

No daylight, noisy street and not welcoming - Very clean and 2 bathrooms • Host attitude felt purely transactional, zero sense of hospitality or welcoming • No early check-in even though the unit was empty. We arrived at an apartment that had 18 degrees despite minus degrees outside. Impossible to reah host via phone • Luggage “support” was a link to a public locker, they didn’t want to provide any kind of help which was shocking for an apartment that costs almost 1000 euro for 3 nights • Entire apartment sealed off from daylight, an uncomfortable bunker feeling • Only a French press, no proper coffee machine • Noisy second bedroom, you could hear everything that went on on the street, and noise from hallway traffic • Cleaning next door was extremely loud (very thin wands) • No basic amenities such as shower gel and only one thin low quality towel per guest for 4 days.

• Thomas (8/5): Eine praktisch gelegene stylische Homebase für Wien-Erkundungen. - Die Nähe zum Naschmarkt und zur U-Bahn war richtig gut. Und 100 m weiter gibt’s Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bei Billa und Hofer. Einrichtung stylisch, super sauber und sehr geräumig. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das war für uns jetzt kein Problem, aber man muss wissen, dass man keinen Ausblick hat. Die zwei Bäder und das abgetrennte Schlafzimmer sind fensterlos. Das zweite Doppelbett ist auf einer Galerie zum offen Wohnraum. Die hohen Fenster im Wohnraum (Erdgeschoss) gehen zur Straße raus. Ich glaube die Fenster hatten eine Milchglas-Verglasung.

Durch seine sehr zentrale Lage ist fast alles fußläufig erreichbar. Bei Veranstaltungen schnell mit dem Taxi in die Marx Halle und in die Wiener Stadthalle. In der näheren Umgebung schöne und gute Restaurants und Cafés.

For a week in July we walked everywhere even though tram and train nearby. 3 grocery stores nearby. Slept well. Surprisingly quiet location. The loft is large. Good space for two people.

• Ankur (6/5): Nice location and design, hosts could improve - The apartment is in a great location, and nicely decorated. Two bathrooms and a small kitchen are nice to have. The bedrooms don't provide privacy for either guest, so be aware of that. When we arrived (with the outside temperature of 2 degC) the heating was off, as was the hot water system. The hosts hadn't informed us of this, so it wasn't until the next morning that we figured out how to turn the hot water system on. Once we did it also leaked (hosts never responded to this). They also only provided a single towel and single blanket per guest (2 of us) despite saying we could have extra towels. Even as a single person sleeping on a queen bed, I want more than a single pillow and comforter. Some small touches from the hosts would make the stay much nicer. Having the heat on for arrival, towels, and the apartment ready for guests, rather than having to figure it out ourselves.

• Kara (10/5): Throughly enjoyable! - The loft is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our long weekend in Vienna. The location is great. Everything was within a 20 minute walk from the loft.

• Tanya (8/5): A very comfortable apartment centred close to the tube and a short walk to the city centre - Comfortable and very spacious apartment with a short walk into the centre. There were also some small restaurants nearby and two supermarkets. The bathrooms are well equipped with nice furnishings. Nice also to have a washing machine when staying for a week. The apartment lacked natural daylight and a nice view due to the big windows being totally frosted for privacy reasons as the street is right outside. There was one of us sleeping in each bedroom so the double beds were only made up with 1 pillow and one single duvet on them each !! However the beds were both very comfortable.

• Dmytro (10/5): Exceptional - That is a great flat in a nice location - near the city center, but also near some nice breakfast places. The appartment is kind of 2 floors, with 1 bathroom and two toilets. It has a great wifi, but it is better to use from "2nd floor". See the photo (with a person painted over) It is easy to get from the train station. I cannot think about any problems. It was not immediately clear that climate control was controlling only heating and that is not connected to AC (which has separate control), but after 5 min we figured that out. And if that is the only "problem" I can think of, that means we had zero problems :)
• Amanda (6/5): Beautiful but needs better communication and maintenance - The apartment was very central. It was spotlessly clean and very stylish. The entry instructions were very clear. When we arrived, late in the evening it was very cold and the hot water wasn’t on. We had to figure out how to turn the boiler on, which was displaying an error which we had to translate into English as there was no guidance on switching the boiler on. We weren’t sure if it was working when we had it going as we still didn’t get hot water until the morning and even then only one of us could shower before it became lukewarm. The fridge was turned off and it generally felt that no one had been to the apartment to make sure everything was okay. The towels were also quite small. There was also a leak under the main bathroom’s sink which we cleaned up. Downstairs bed creaked every time we moved on it, but was otherwise comfortable. Communication wasn’t great either with a message not being answered even after we got home.

• Sarah (7/5): Good - The location was great. The main bed was comfortable. It was clean. I really wanted to like this property but unfortunately it wasn’t for me. The pullout bed was uncomfortable and the couch was very uncomfortable. The kitchen was generally stocked by missing items like bowls for cereal and a coffee maker. The shower didn’t drain properly so the showers had to be short. The windows are large and allow for lots of natural light but they are all frosted. We like to see out even if on the ground floor.

• Christina (10/5): Upscale, Cozy, Safe Apartment - Close to the Innere Stadt - The apartment is super clean and chic. The location is less than 10 minutes from the Opera and the main shopping streets. I was traveling with my daughter and felt very safe walking to the apartment late in the evening. There are 2 grocery stores within view of the apartment. There were also 2 bathrooms in the apartment which was a plus - 1 had a shower, 1 did not. We would definitely stay here again. Fabulous stay. Would be great if there were an espresso machine - but a french press and kettle were available and we used the latter. We had trouble figuring out how to use the key properly. This was OUR problem because European doors open differently than in the US and I was sure I was going to break the key. Jenny was super friendly and came to the apartment and explained that it was a simple hard turn to the right.

• Sherry (10/5): Would totally recommend The Kiss Loft. - Excellent location, right down the street from the Naschmarkt, and walking distance to the Opera House as well as museum district. Petra, the property owner came to introduce herself and personally see if we needed anything. She provided recommendations for restaurants also. The apartment was perfect for two singles ladies. We felt safe and it was a comfortable setting to come back to at the end of each day during of our stay. Jennifer from the property management responded very quickly to any correspondence. There was not anything negative.

We walked most places (the place is around 10-15min walk to the Opera House) We had everything we needed, it was a really lovely stay. We had an issue with contacting Booking.com on arrival, which was eventually sorted, but it was the apartment host has done everything she could to sort it.

• Alyssa (9/5): Very pleasant, comfortable place for a short stay in Vienna - Very clean, nicely-renovated apartment with chic decor. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything worked well. Nice selection of books/literature. There’s a good grocery store close by, and an area with lots of restaurants a couple of blocks away. A few small things: One of the bedrooms (the loft) doesn’t have an adjoining bath - you have to go downstairs for the bathroom and the industrial-style metal stairs are kind of painful on bare feet, as I discovered in the middle of the night. There’s no view outside at all (this is obvious from the pictures), and there can be some noise from the street in the evenings/night. The location is good, but not super-central, which was only an issue when it was pouring rain and we couldn’t find a taxi anywhere.

Washing machine was on the list of amenities, but no washing powder so had to wait until hofer opened to buy powder and soap for the shower ! Said there was a clothes dryer , couldn’t see a dryer for looking!
• Elizabeth (9/5): Attractive apartment in good location - Good facilities, attractive property, excellent communication from management company, good location one block from Line 1 tram and very close to supermarkets. The iron does not heat properly. The windows of the property are directly on street level and so are covered with film to provide privacy from the street and cannot be opened. The second bedroom has no window at all. We found this uncomfortable but it may not concern others.

The place had all the necessary amenities, it was very convenient to get in/out with a baby stroller since it's on the ground level. Also, we forgot our phone when checking out and the hosts and the managing company went above and beyond to return it. Can't recommend this place enough!

• Frank (10/5): I really liked the place and the location and would gladly stay there again. - The location, in Wiedner, is terrific. Aside from being 5 minutes from the Naschmarkt (ultimately not my biggest draw), there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as excellent small supermarkets, it is close to the Secession, a pretty easy walk to the Operringstrasse, the Albertina, etc. The apartment itself is very comfortable, the furnishings are not extravagant but more than sufficient, the beds are large and comfortable, and there are two full bathrooms with open showers. You are at street level, but the street is generally very quiet. The apartment has wonderful, 20+ foot high ceilings, and the second bedroom is really a loft that overlooks the living room/dining room. That was ok for us, but it might be problematic if you had two couples both of whom wanted privacy. Because it's at street level, one tends to keep the curtains drawn and the lighting in the living areas could be a bit brighter, but it's really fine.

• Frank (10/5): My cousin and I stayed here twice, and I would very happily stay here again. - The location is in the Wiedner district, nice and very convenient. It's very near the Naschmarket, there are lots of places to eat and places to buy food, and a 20-minute or so walk from many of the more sought-after points of interest. The place is comfortable. One bedroom is a real bedroom, the other is a loft that overlooks the living room (the ceilings are about 20 feet high).
