• Ana (6/5): - Muito bem localizado. O Michelle foi sempre muito prestável desde de que marcamos o alojamento e foi rápido a responder aos nossos pedidos. A cozinha muito bem equipada também. O chuveiro é muito pequeno mesmo para uma pessoa de 60kg - o chuveiro não deve ter 1m de largura por exemplo. Infelizmente no penúltimo dia da nossa estadia encontramos percevejos na sala (3/4) que acabaram por morder uma das pessoas no nosso grupo. Isto foi informado ao Michelle e ele prontamente indicou que iria chamar o exterminador para descontaminar o local.

• Laurent (8/5): Bon séjour, même sans clim - Nous avons avant tout apprécié l'emplacement de ce logement (à côté de la place St-Marc). Très facile d'accès et proche de tout. La taille du logement était suffisante pour notre court séjour. Très belle salle de bains moderne. Capsules de café disponibles. La climatisation était HS (je pense avoir lu cette même remarque sur Booking avant notre départ), avons utilisé les ventilateurs disponibles, mais ce n'est clairement pas suffisant en été. Il manquait des lames de plancher à la sortie de la douche. Cela sera sans doute prochainement réparé. Beaucoup de bruit le matin car une maison voisine était en travaux. Mais cela reste indépendant du propriétaire. C'est juste pas de chance.

• Jennifer (3/5): - The location was perfect for St Mark's Square, bars and restaurants. Check-in wasn't straight forward. Although the beds were reasonably comfortable, I was biten by bed bugs. The bathroom floor near the shower was covered over with plywood, and a towel was laid out along the shower. The shower leaked, which soaked the towel, when I put the towel up to dry we found extreme mould in the floor and the floor was spungey. We couldn't stay, we moved.

• Paul (2/5): Warning - massive bedbug infestation - The apartment is very well located. We received an immediate refund of our booking fee after reporting the issue described below and left the apartment again after only a few hours. Apartment No. 1 has a severe bedbug infestation. After a few hours sleep, my children and I awoke to find that we had been bitten numerous times by bedbugs. All of the beds were infested with these parasites; even the floor and walls in the bedrooms and the sofa in the kitchen were affected. My children have sustained more than 300 bites in a few hours, and I am in no better condition. Moreover, our luggage also became infested with bedbugs. After only a few hours in this apartment, not only was our holiday effectively over, but we also suffered considerable health issues as a result.

Anche dopo intervento di cambio lenzuola la situazione è migliorata ma i parassiti sono diminuiti ma ancora presenti. Purtroppo nonostante le precauzioni, non siamo riusciti ad evitare l'infestazione anche di casa nostra che ci ha costretto ad intervento di sanificazione completa oltre a riscontrare irritazioni cutanee diffuse.
• Wilson (9/5): Everything about the apartment was absolutely fabulous. - The location was exceptional, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Additionally, my host provided outstanding service. One night I accidentally left my keys in the apartment, but didn't realize this until I returned late one night. My host immediately answered my text, despite the late hour, and explained where an additional key was hidden.

• Jenny (9/5): Location, location, location! Would stay again. - AMAZING location - 1 minute easy walk to Piazza San Marco (I timed it!) but at the end of a quiet side street. No view but could see the canal from the very nice modern bathroom. Easy set of solid, wide stairs with handrail from attractive lobby to apartment which was all on one level. Great size bedrooms with comfy beds, plenty of space and decent small kitchen for breakfast/simple meals. Great communication from the helpful host. Everything was fine but if I was being nit-picky it would have been nice to have a little more light in the living area. The living/dining furniture was OK but didn't really fit the traditional vibe of the rest of the apartment - only one sofa which was covered with a red stretchy cover and table was modern. Adding another comfy chair or two would make it more of a place to relax. Minimal storage space in twin room (large wardrobe just a few hangers, no shelves) but plenty in double.

Tode es mejorable, pero hemos estado muy a gusto. Amplio, las fotos de Booking reflejan exactamente el apartamento, dotado con todo lo necesario, muy bien situado. Por poner un pero, la ducha pequeña para un baño espacioso.

Thought we were booking a room with two baths, only got one. This is a great place to stay but it needed a deep cleaning. Sheets clean, but bed spreads had hair, lint, dirt etc. cobwebs, lots of dirt in the corners. Etc. Something triggered my allergies, mold?dust mites? Pet dander? IDK?

• Maryjane (10/5): From the minute we walked through the foyer I knew we were going to enjoy our stay in this gorgeous apparent. Venice is - Central to everything! A 5 min walk to piazza di San Marco, and central to restaurants and shopping! Venice is walkable from this perfect little home base. As a family of 4, we were very comfortable and loved this charming apartment. Our host was very attentive and friendly. I would stay here again!!! The shower is on the small side which can make it challenging for extra large people. Having said that, we were comfortable.

Large rooms with lots of character. Responsive host and excellent value. Linens/beds were not necessarily “hotel quality” but this was not unexpected and in no way detracted from a wonderful stay.

• Mark (10/5): The best location, just off San Marco but in a quiet alley, all the facilities you could wish for. - You could not wish for a better location. Just off San Marco (literally 1 minute on foot), but in a quiet side street, with no foot traffic and very little noise. Easy access to the property, host was very responsive, would book again. Good quality beds, two genuine bedrooms, great bathroom, washing machine, great kitchen.
• Oliver (9/5): Superb St Peter’s Sq location, friendly host and authentic vibe - Superb location and a very helpful host. Rooms were comfortable, the beds were nicely firm and coffee capsules provided for the Nespresso machine :-) The whole apartment had nicely genuine Venetian feel about it including the entrance hall and stair well. Air conditioning worked well and was VERY welcome. The only things are that for anything other than fairly basic cooking, the kitchen was a bit ‘compact’ - i.e. the hob was quite small and fairly compact work spaces. However if you plan to dine out a bit, no problem. Also the shower cubicle is small - larger folk will struggle with elbows and limbs in the tight space. The bathroom space itself is however very nice and I suspect this is just a function of the limited wall space to install a shower. Still, you have been ‘advised’!

• Amcg (10/5): We loved everything! Venice is enchanting and this apartment was the perfect location to enjoy it! - We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment! Traveling with my husband and 2 adult kids (22&20). Communication with Michele before during & after was outstanding! Michele sent very detailed directions from the airport to the apartment with pictures, maps and transportation options. He was very responsive to questions regarding recommendations for food, gelato, etc. Accessing the Apartment was easy with a provided code and we were able to check in early. The beautiful woman who was finishing cleaning the apartment welcomed us in to leave our luggage. The building is very safe and secure and in the BEST LOCATION to explore and enjoy Venice. Just steps from St. Marks but down a quiet street with little foot traffic or tourists. It was so easy to pop out of the apartment to explore then easily get back to rest, recharge and head back out for a lovely meal. We did not cook any meals but enjoyed the use of the refrigerator and the Nespresso machine! There were plenty of pods for us to all enjoy during our whole stay. Our beds were comfortable and extra blankets available if needed. There was a Mosquito repellent plug-in (with cartridges) that was effective and appreciated. Some reviews of the property mentioning the size of the shower as well as water damage of the floor outside the shower. The floor damage has been completely repaired and it is no issue at all. The shower is narrow. We are all on the smaller side both short and average weight. It wasn't a problem for us but a very tall or larger person would have to be a bit creative. The shower wand did make it easier! There was tons of very hot water available at all times of the day for showers. Both of my kids take long showers and they were able to enjoy hot water and great water pressure throughout. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc. Wifi was strong in all rooms of the apartment. Host let us store our luggage downstairs after checkout and before we had to leave.

• Talib (10/5): Exceptional - The location is excellent! Rooms were pricey for us, but cheap in comparison to others in the same area. Everything went smoothly and the AC worked like a champ. Seeing the other complaints regarding the damaged, lifted bathroom floorboards, we just placed a floor towel over the bad area when we arrived and had no issues. There were a few mosquitoes in the rooms even though we kept the windows closed. Crafty, sly ones - we hunted several of them down over the four days we were there, but a few still were hunting us in return. I call it a draw.

Host contacted us via messaging every day to see if we needed anything and suggested good restaurants to go to away from the tourist spots. The bathroom floor was wet and had black mould outside the shower. Water from the shower spilled from under the shower door no matter how careful we were. Shower nozzle was hopeless. Would only hold if straight up so water was spraying across the body not down on it. Flow was very poor.

The restaurants were close and delicious The original remodel of the space was high end and must have been a fortune to obtain the fit and finish. However the lack of maintenance was apparent…. A very warm late night arrival, the window curtain rod fell on my head as I attempted to evacuate the hot air by opening a window. After removing the curtain-from myself it was obvious that it had occurred previously. The good air conditioning systems to slowly cool the rooms. For some reason they kept resetting themselves to a warmer setting. No apparent maintenance on a very expensive (yet poorly installed) shower door had ruined very expensive flooring, in the bathroom. Very expensive fixtures, very expensive original fit and finish of everything…with one glaring exception Kicking the curled ends of the warped flooring planks at 0430 was something I could have done without Once these issues are resolved and the missing television is replaced, this will be back to its original glory Disrepair

Even being in the center of it all, it's still very quiet and has a nice view of the canal. Our host, Michele was so helpful with everything -- directions on how to get to apt, things we may need, recommendations on restaurants, etc. Everything was perfect! Nothing.

The host was very attentive and helpful with directions and anything we asked. Air conditioned to perfection. It is not flawless, but the advantages of this place are just so great and we loved it so much that we didn't care. Oh and the beds were very comfortable too, something that I find rare! We loved it.
