• hummelflug (9/5): Toll - wir kommen wieder, außerhalb eines Feiertages, dann sind vielleicht weniger Touristen.... - Perfekte Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung, Abholung am Vaporetto, die Lage der Wohnung, die Dachterrasse, die Umgebung, die Einrichtung der Wohnung war perfekt. Für das erste Frühstück war ebenfalls gesorgt. Die Qualität der Matratzen war super! Die Sicht auf der Terrasse ist sensationell! Es war absolut ruhig. Nicht alle Paare schlafen unter einer Decke (Alternative wäre nett) - besonders nicht die Alten! (: Die Möblierung auf der Terrasse war etwas runtergekommen, kein Licht!

• Sally (9/5): A great apartment in Venice. Great service from the owner. Would happily stay there again - The apartment was very good. Spacious, clean, bright, modern and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook. Location was amazing. Quiet area but a couple of minutes walk to cafes restaurants etc. Very close to the San Samuele ferry stop. The bathroom was excellent. Large shower. Washing machine. Iron. Having the roof terrace was wonderful. Lovely view. Great for enjoying your morning cuppa (and drying any washing). Beds were comfortable. I had asked weeks before our stay if I could have some milk left in the fridge for a cup of tea when we arrived and there was a bottle left for us. Lovely quality coffee in the kitchen. I suppose the only downside was the number of stairs to reach the apartment (4 flights I think) but I knew that when we booked. We got used to it very quickly and the owner (Andrea) met us at the ferry stop and carried our suitcases up all the stairs for us. Look upon it as great leg exercise.;

The location was perfect & in a quiet spot close to many attractions. It was a spacious apartment and we loved that it had been in Andrea’s family & feeling what it would like to be as a local rather than a tourist was very special to us. Some of thee facilities. The shower wasn’t great, the one next to the master bedroom didn’t drain away properly & both showers had intermittent hot water. The air conditioning system wasn’t working, fortunately for us this was okay as the temperature wasn’t too hot.

• Simone (9/5): Traumhafte Terasse - Das Apartment ist sehr groß und bietet viel Platz. Die Terrasse ist einfach toll! Super sind auch die beiden Bäder. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Eigentümer waren sehr hilfreich und haben uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Die Lage ist zentral aber trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Bis zum nächsten Supermarkt war es ein Stück zu laufen. Wir haben den Weg zum Supermarkt dann einfach immer in unsere tägliche Tour eingebaut.

• Brigitte (10/5): Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons. - L'accueil est exceptionnel : le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à l'arrêt du vaporetto (San Angelo), nous a accompagnés au logement et nous a donné de très bons conseils et de bonnes adresses. L'appartement est spacieux, coquettement arrangé, et très bien équipé. Une petite terrasse permet d'avoir une vue sur les toits de la ville. Le quartier est calme, la distance par rapport aux sites essentiels est courte. Beaucoup de petits détails témoignent de l'attention portée aux hôtes. Rien.

• Martin (10/5): Fabulous accommodation with excellent views and location - Staying in the penthouse was an absolute treat. It is located on the top of the building and, yes, one has to climb four stairs, but this is absolutely worth it. The penthouse has a spacious living room with a comfortable couch, a functional and modern design and a large dining table for eating and working. Windows with great views of the city all over. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need. Bathrooms are spotless clean and the bedrooms spacious and really quiet. The penthouse offers a large terrace with spectacular views of Venice, which must provide a great experience during the spring, summer and autumn. Host Andrea came to open the apartment and is very friendly; do listen to his tips on local restaurants because they are superb. All the rooms of the penthouse are in top shape. The location is excellent, close to all the highlights of Venice, in the middle of the old city with all the canals and near to boat station San Samuele. I truly can't think of a better place to stay. Strongly recommended. I had a late evening flight, so it was a bit stressful to arrive at the penthouse before midnight, which was the ultimate check-in time. But with the kind assistance of host Andrea all worked out fine.

Best accommodation we’ve found in ages. - It was large, well equipped, beautifully presented, and in a great area - quiet but within a few minutes walk of lots of amenities and attractions. The hosts could not have been nicer - meeting us off the ferry on the Grand Canal and briefing us about everything important. Being on the third floor, there were a lot of stairs but that was a small price to pay for everything else being brilliant, and the hosts carried our bag up to the apartment !

• Claudie (10/5): Logement très confortable, très bien placé, à recommander - Nous étions dans le logement nommé "penthouse", effectivement au dernier étage (77 marches) avec une terrasse qui doit être agréable quand la météo le permet. Accueil irréprochable avec Andrea qui nous a indiqué tous les détails nécessaires pour arriver de l'aéroport , ligne orange, arrêt San Angelo et il était là pour nous attendre et nous conduire à travers les ruelles jusqu'à l'appartement. Appartement très vaste et lumineux, très confortable, proche de tout et très calme en même temps, 15mn à pieds de la place San Marco sauf si on s'arrête devant chaque vitrine : - ) La cafetière est peut-être très italienne et très typique mais c'est un gadget pour le café du matin. Elle est trop petite, à peine un bol, pour un logement qui peut accueillir 4 personnes. Les poêles pourrait faire l'objet d'un renouvellement, leur usure n'est guère engageante. Mais merci quand même pour la mise à disposition du café moulu ! C'est très appréciable quand on arrive tard. La lumière est trop forte dans la chambre, impossible de la moduler pour lire, par exemple, sans déranger son partenaire.

A comunicação com os proprietários foi perfeita, tanto com a Sra. Emanuela, antes da estadia, quanto com o Sr. Andrea durante a estadia. Andrea nos deu várias dicas sobre o local, restaurantes, mercados, atrações... Estadia perfeita. Nós já sabíamos através do anuncio do Booking e para nós não foi problema, mas é bom ter em mente que o acesso à acomodação é realizado através de escadas. Pessoas com mobilidade reduzida terão dificuldade de acesso.
• Sarah (9/5): Tolles Apartment mitten in Venedig. Wir kommen gerne wieder! - Wir wurden persönlich an der Alilaguna-Station abgeholt und zum Apartment gebracht. Wir haben viele Infos und Empfehlungen erhalten, der Gastgeber war stets über WhatsApp erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sauber, mit Kaffee und kleinen Knabbereien ausgestattet. Auch die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick und Nachmittagssonne.
• SASHIKALA (10/5): Wonderful stay and good reception by the host - We had a great stay at this apartment. I traveled with my daughter and the apartment was spacious and large for 2 people. The host gave us clear instructions in advance on how to reach the apartment from the main train station. The host, Andrea, met us at the waterbus/vaporetto stop near the apartment and accompanied us to show us the apartment and brief us about all the details. He even helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. He explained in detail about all aspects of the apartment and practical tips. He gave us access to the common terrace which had a great view. He was really sweet and polite and made us feel welcome. He even gave us suggestions for places to eat and dishes to try out. They had even provided us with complimentary breakfast consisting of 8 slices of crisp bread, jam and nutella, which was a pleasant surprise. The cooking utensils were adequate and coffee was provided along with the moka pot. The apartment was spick and span and everything was clean and white; 10 points for the cleanliness. The location is great. It's located close to the waterbus/vaporetto stops; it is 160 meters from San Samuele stop and 350 meters from San Angelo stop. It's also close to the major tourist attractions in Venice. The only downside was that there was no shower gel and shampoo provided.

• Patrick (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - This property is owned by a wonderful Venetian family who clearly care about your stay. Andrea met us and showed us to the apartment and was kind enough to give us tons of interesting and useful information, he couldn't have been kinder or more professional. The apartment was gorgeous, really high spec and the views from the terrace where spectacular. The hosts had thoughtfully left a breakfast and the apartment had everything you could need for any length of stay. The apartment was in the most amazing location for all of the sights, everything being withing easy walking distance.

Der Sohn der Gastgeberin hat ausserdem die beiden Damen direkt am Bahnhof S. Lucia abgeholt und hat und zur Unterkunft begleitet. Es gab eingeschränkten Vaportetto - Verkehr wegen der hisorischen Regatta an diesem Sonntag der Ankunft. Stiegenhauslicht könnte heller sein

• Attul (10/5): Clean property, great location and our host Andrea was both welcoming and helpful. - Great location. Useful rooftop. Electricity loading is limited ie you can’t run all AC units and domestic appliances at the same time as this will trip the fuse. The good news is it can be reset with a trip to the ground floor; so it’s not the end of the world. Just something to be mindful of and this is flagged transparently in the welcome booklet.

• Sven (7/5): Big apartment, quiet location - The host was amazing and very helpful with everything. The balcony is great (there are actually 2 balconies, one is private and you enter it through living room and/or second bedroom) while the other is on the top of the facility and is shared between all guests. The apartment is huge. Kitchen is well equipped. There are a/c in both bedrooms and living room. It is very close to academia bridge. The small square in front of the hotel is actually empty so noise won't be a problem. The biggest complaint is cleanliness. Everything could have been cleaner. The carpets the windows the mosquito nets, the balcony. Walls and doors are damaged on many parts. The stench from the bathroom in master bedroom was horrible to the point we haven't used it or opened the doors of it during the stay) There are a lot of mosquitos (which is understandable of course and by no means a fault of the host) but there are no mosquito nets on all the windows. Additionaly we were provided with anti mosquito devices but no anti mosquito liquid which we had to buy. The apartment is on the second/third floor with no elevator. The stench from the nearby canal is sometimes present (which is no fault of the host, you are in Venice after all), but this house is second house from the canal.

Helpful host. Although in central San Marco district, we only heard birdsong.....including seagulls!! Super place beautifully renovated to high standard. Close to 2 vaporetto stops on Grand Canal.

• Amber (10/5): Amazing oasis in the centre of Venezia - We absolutely loved Ca’ degli Oresi. The apartment was beautiful and clean, amazing views of Venice from the terrace, hidden in a quiet pocket but still such a central area close to everything. Communication, friendliness and welcome were exceptional. Very comfortable beds and great space for our family of 4. Hopefully we will make it back to Venice, and when we do we will be staying here again. We loved it all. Although if you have trouble with stairs you might struggle.
• Melanie (9/5): Great apartment, lovely owners, not always easily accessible from other places - The apartment is beautifully presented and has everything you could possibly want. The owners are friendly and really helpful - even carried our luggage up the many stairs when we arrived. They gave us lots of information that was a real help for our stay. The apartment is close to some amenities but a little out of the way for a first visit to Venice. The vaporettos to San Samuele(boat dock) stop between 8pm and midnight, so it was tricky knowing how to get back. A really helpful ferry operator talked us through getting off at a different stop(S.Angelo) and gave us directions to our apartment. The stairs - there are so many of them up to the apartment(something to be aware of).

Very personable experience with the hosts, they are very informative and helpful! Apartment is VERY spacious with access to some great amenities such as the washing machine, cafeteria and fridge. Overall great place to stay!
• Chris (10/5): This is a spectacular, clean, modern apartment, exceptionally well located to enjoy Venice from. - This was an amazing stay. We researched a while for our Venice trip, and were lucky to find this spotless, modern apartment on San Marco. We received clear instructions where to meet the owner's son who walked us to the apartment and provided so much great information about everything in the apartment and the local area. The apartment was pristine, modern, and complete (even a dishwasher). The roof top deck had a fantastic view of the city. We had breakfast there every morning, and in the evening watched the moon rise over the city's rooftops. It is a real jewel. We got plenty of exercise on the stairs.

• Nicole (10/5): Fab location, fab hosts, fab stay - Location was fantastic! 10 mins walk from most of the must see sights and activities! Super easy to get to as well from the airport. We took the boat which was €32 return and you got to see some great views heading into the city. Andrea came and met us at the boat stop and walked us to the apartment. He gave us lots of great tips and recommendations. The apartment was clean, loads of space and the terrace was a nice touch for having breakfast in the sun in the morning. Highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in venice! The 3 flights of stairs was a bit of a slog after a long day of walking and exploring but absolutely worth it for all the reasons above on why it was a great stay! Just means you get a work out haha
• Carolyn (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, very convenient to Vaporetto and also Alilaguna for the airport. Quiet, yet still in area of St Marks. Highly recommend. Met at the dock, walked to the property and given many helpful recommendations.
• Dimamo5 (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great. The hosts were super nice and friendly. Very enjoyable stay Be aware of the 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. It might not be an easy climb for someone with low mobility.

We were met by the owner's son, who showed us the way to the apartment, explained all the facilities and gave us top tips and recommendations to make the most of our stay. The information pack told us what we needed to know. The apartment is well appointed and attention has been paid to every detail. Loved having the terrace and views. We would consider staying in this property again.
• Shari (9/5): Clean and comfortable - My favorite was that the host met us at our water taxi to show us the apartment. It was clean and comfortable and a great location. Would have preferred the AC to be available. It was cool outside but we got mosquitoes when the windows were open.

Excellent location to sightseeing, transit, numerous food options! Wonderful balcony with great views and so very close we could see top of St Mark’s Bell Tower and hear the chimes.

• Huw (9/5): Well situated and comfortable apartment - Really well situated and comfortable apartment in a quiet area within easy walking distance of the Academia, Rialto and St Marks, but glad we were met and shown the route from the Vaparetto. The penthouse sitting out area had views over the rooftops of Venice, and there were nearby shops for basic food items. Nothing though you do need to be fit to climb so many flights of stairs!

• Jan (9/5): Superb - Overall satisfaction! Good location, nice and clean room, excellent communication. After the whole day on our feet, the stairs to the 4th floor awaited us. :-) However, we were warned in advance about the absence of an elevator.
• Carole (10/5): Exceptional - We LOVED this apartment for so many reasons! The apartment itself was outstanding in every way. It was comfortable, spacious and spotless. It was modern in terms of appliances, bathroom renovations and heating/ air conditioning but maintained a very warm, Italian grandmother kind of ambience that was so special.  There are stairs to climb but they are not steep and even as "seniors" we did not find them to be too challenging. We were glad to be able to sit on the patio overlooking the square- well worth the climb to have this special perspective. Most of all the family that hosted us was extremely kind and helpful. Andrea met us to help us with our bags and making sure we could find our way to the apartment. His brother did the same for our return. When we were faced with a particularly challenging and stressful situation after having experienced some theft in the metro in Rome just before getting to Venice Andrea pretty much saved us from having to swim to the airport! We cannot thank this family enough for all they did. We highly recommend staying at this property when in Venice. The apartment, location, host, EVERYTHING deserves the highest possible rating. Our host helped carry our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs (the stairs being the only negative). Clean, airy, modern, spacious and comfortable inside. We would book here again:-) 3 flights of stairs, but not unexpected.

The apartment was clean and spacious, and a cool and peaceful haven very well-situated for our Biennale visits. We ate in a few times as it was so nice to sit and chat on the balcony. The local store and restaurant were just great, too.
