• ALBA (7/5): Buena ubicación - El apartamento es grande y está limpio. Es un 7º sin ascensor, ibamos con una niña con carro, y era un sufrimiento tener que subir y bajar el carro cada vez que entrabamos o salíamos del apartamento.

• Kathryn (9/5): Great location and you get your exercise! - The shower was nice, the fridge was nice. Good heating. Location was great. The many flights of stairs is tough! The apartment is a bit lop-sided.
• Loïc (7/5): Bien pour famille sportive - L'emplacement est super et l'appartement très spacieux, utilisable pour un couple et trois enfants Rien n'indiquait l'accès par douze volées d'escalier jusqu'au sixième étage: rude pour les non-sportifs. Remise des clés sur rendez-vous même dans la plage horaire indiquée, car l'hôte n'est pas ou pas toujours sur place. Obligation de 75 euros pour le ménage de sortie alors même qu'on n'a utilisé qu'une pièce, ni la cuisine, ni la vaste buanderie, etc
• JAVIER (10/5): Viaje a Venecia - La ubicación era perfecta, al lado de la plaza de San Marcos y en una calle muy tranquila. Cerca había una pequeña plaza con un buen ambiente y unos locales para comer y tomar algo muy agradables. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

• Jean (9/5): A wonderful experience! - The location of this property was wonderful. So close to everything, yet a quiet space to relax. Views are a real bonus. Felt like a local. The steps up to the apartment were a bit challenging, particularly carrying heavy bags.
• Cathie (9/5): Excellent location - Location was great. Very central and minutes from the main attractions. We did have a small issue which was sorted out straight away - communication was great. This is a top floor apartment so there are 79 stairs to get up with your luggage. It’s a long way up if you have mobility issues. No fly screens for the bedroom windows and there are lots of mosquitoes.

• Linda (8/5): Perfectly located, comfortable apartment. - Ca Palazzo was the perfect base for our four days in Venice. Turn right out of the building and walk to the end of the lane and you find yourself in a lovely vibrant area with a wide choice of reasonably priced restaurants and bars. Turn left out of the building and in two minutes you can get a water bus or taxi anywhere you want to go. The apartment was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.
• Mary (6/5): Would not return - Location Lots of stairs Multiple texts and calls from staff as we arrived late, very stressful Extra charge for late arrival, this was NOT made clear at time of booking €10 charge if owner had to empty our rubbish from the bins, like come on The duvet on our bed smelt of stale sweat
• Linda (4/5): Great location, but it's a 6th floor walkup. - Close to everything. Nice little apartment with a kitchen which allowed us to cook our own breakfast. Many cafes around the corner. Pharmacy around the corner too. Caretaker / keyholder was fabulous, helped carry bags up to the 6th floor. Saved my back, since two travel companions were in their 80's. 6th floor walkup. 6th floor walkup. Did I say 6th floor walkup? "host" knew I was traveling with 2 women in their 80's?? Of course if it was made known that it was a 6th floor walkup, I'd have booked other accommodations for my traveling companions.

• Kenneth (3/5): Never again. - The location was nice. Near nice restaurants and transportation. I was told I would have a ground floor unit. It was on the sixth floor. With 80 lbs of luggage it was an incredible chore. I am 80 years old and I could only do one round trip a day. The owner promised there would be someone to meet us at the boat from the airport. No one showed. I called the owner but no answer. I used the map on my phone and found the place. There was no one at the property. I kept calling but no answer. 3 hours later a resident came and called the owner on his private phone. He told us that we were not at the meeting place on time so his assistant left. An hour after that his assistant Guido showed up and apologized that we forgot about us. The owner said he was at the meeting point and he lied. When Guido got there he told us we had to go to the sixth floor. No elevator. That was not what I understood. As for the apartment it was acceptable and clean. Nothing great. But functional. My advice to you is don’t believe anything the owner says he will do. Look elsewhere.

• David (9/5): A Marvellous Stay - The location is fantastic. The apartment is directly behind the Doge's Palace; you couldn't be more central. For anyone with a love of Venetian history, the view is brilliant. Through the windows on one side of the apartment you can see the back wall of the Doge's Palace, and the Prisons, as well. Through windows on another side you can see the church of San Zaccaria. And from still others you can see what I believe is the church of San Zanipolo on the skyline. Guido, the site manager, is extremely helpful. He met me at the vaporetto stop, when I first arrived. He communicates with guests clearly and well. I had problems with the washing machine, and he came over, and stayed until it was mended. The vaporetto stop at San Zaccaria is very close: perhaps only a hundred metres away. At the other end of the street, you'll find quite a few typical Venetian restaurants. It is an easy walk to the Rialto. The fly screens on the windows of the apartment are very effective. Although I visited in high summer, I had no problems with mosquitoes, for which I was very grateful. There was nothing I didn't like about the apartment, to be frank. However, there is a cost for the excellent views it affords. You have to climb five flights of stairs to get to it. If you are elderly or infirm, or have very small children, this might be a bridge too far. The effort though is well worth it. (Note: the weather being hot during my stay, I ate cold meat and salads exclusively. I didn't do any cooking. The kitchen seemed to me to have plenty to work with; but I don't want to swear to this, not having given it a real workout.)
• Veronika (7/5): Excellent location, close to main attractions. - Fantastic location just behind St Mark’s Square wiith rooftop views of St Marco, which was very convenient. The flat is quite dated, but well equipped. Bedroom 2 is very small. It was quite expensive as had to pay additional fees per person after paying for the apartment.

Massino helpful with information prior to arrival and Guido met us off water bus. He was very helpful with showing us around the apartment and giving us local information. Thank you. 6 flights of stairs hard on knees. Fine for us but difficult if you have any mobility issues or pain. Need mosquito netting in small bedroom.
• Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, apartament size enough for 4 persons. Full equipped. View on Dodge Palace from window. Shops and restaurants around. Good contact with host. For sure we will come back there when we will visit Venice next time

• Kate (8/5): Great location! - The location was great, walking distance to everything. The sloping floor! But I imagine this might be typical for Venice apartments. The stairs were tiny with big luggage, so definitely consider this if you have a family all with large luggage. Again though, may be typical for Venice.
• Melanie (10/5): Perfect location and a great host - Lovely apartment, and just two minutes from the water us station or St Marks square. It was also great to have a washing machine and dryer. The views were amazing and the host Giulia was so nice and really helpful, we used many of her recommendations We didn’t enjoy climbing up the stairs after a long hot day sightseeing, however if you are reasonably fit it’s more than worth it for the views

We didn't like it. - - The location was excellent. - The apartment has a washer and dryer. - The kitchen has all utensils (plates, glasses, etc.) - The toilet wasn't flushing correctly. We had to flush many times for the next person to be able to use the toilet. The host ignored our concerns when we communicated about the toilet problem. - The main bedroom mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. - The shower wasn't sparkling clean and water was going out of the shower when bathing. - The host didn't tell us ahead of time he needed to take a picture of our passports, even of minors. He was rude when asked for the passports.

• Moni (8/5): The host was very helpful. Met us, brought us to the apartment and help us with our luggages. Apartment is very convenie - Very good location ( beside Saint Mark’s Basilica). Fully furnished with kitchen, washing machine, dryer, etc. It is on level 7th (top floor). Do travel light if you choose to stay here. 😊

Amazing place! - Location was very convenient for acces to all the major tourist attractions - 5 mins walk to Piazza San Marco and water taxis 7 sets of stairs to get to the apartment. Very difficult if you have lots of luggage or someone with a disability.

• Hodorogea (8/5): Perfectly Located, Clean and Organised Apartment - Perfectly located, just next to the St. Mark's Square and 2 steps away from the vaporetto station in S.Marco. Apartment was very clean and fully equiped with all appliances. The reception was great. Beds are especially comfortable. Would surely return! A little complementary coffee and tea for the first day would have been appreciated as it is hard to buy them if you arrive in the evening. Be ready to get in shape climbing 6 floors each time. Surely not a location recommended for elderly people. Not all the light fixtures are working but that's not a problem as there are plenty. Internet did not work for 1 day, fixed promptly by the host. None of the points above would be a blocker for us to come back to this location.
• Arzu (8/5): Very good - Everything was very good except the floor. the location was excelent, the flat was very clean. But the apartment was on the top floor and there was no elevator.
• Cristiana (9/5): Amazing place to stay in Venice! - the location is perfect! right at Piazza San Marco in a quiet and narrow street… From the windows we can see the Doge Palace and the ceilings of Venice. The main vaporetto stops are just few minutes walk. the apartment is at the 7th without elevator. It can be difficult for people with some dislocation problems…
