Very spacious for our 2 teens girls (they had their own bathroom) and for my husband and I. Nice to have a kitchen with a fridge (if you wanted to have snacks/food for kids). Mosquitoes- not that the property can help that, but we had to keep the windows closed at all times or they were in there. There were mosquitoes all over Venice, not just this specific property- just to clarify.

• Annette (10/5): Perfect place for a Venice stay - Spacious, comfortable and very well located. A wonderful base to explore Venice from and a welcome place to escape the hustle & heat of the city. Very spacious with generous bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge area and dining area too. Perfect for a family. Located near shops, restaurants, vaporetto and sights too. A great place to stay. Would recommend. Nothing. Genuinely a great place.

El apartamento está en una zona céntrica que te permite ir andando a todos los sitios y además es muy tranquila. el patio a la salida del edificio es encantador y todo muy típico de Venecia. El apartamento es confortable y tiene de todo. Respecto a Danielle, es probablemente el mejor anfitrión que hemos encontrado en todos los viajes que hacemos. Te ayuda en todo. Un detallazo el dejarnos entrar antes y salir después de la hora oficial. Se nota que piensa en los huéspedes. Gracias, Daniele por hacernos mas confortable la estancia.

• María Belén (10/5): Casa Barzizza en San Polo, la mejor elección en Venecia - La atención de Daniele, quien nos esperó en la estación de vaporetto, nos acompañó al departamento y nos compartió sus restaurantes favoritos fue excepcional. El departamento es luminoso y espacioso con cocina-comedor, sala de estar grande, 2 dormitorios y 2 baños. Todo estaba impecable y muy bien equipado. El barrio fue sin duda una gran elección. Cerca de todo como para ir caminando, pero a la vez tranquilo, fuera del bullicio turístico. La estación de vaporetto está a pocos metros. Quedamos enamorados de Venecia y de Casa Barzizza. Ojalá podamos volver! Nada

• nyla (10/5): Perfect location very near to the Grand Canal, in a beautiful area. - Fantastic location. Just a quick block to the vaporetto and very easy to get around. Also loved the location to the shops within the area and the rialto bridge. The host was very kind and met us as soon as we got off the vaporetto. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and we really enjoyed our stay. We liked everything.

Super proactive in communication and he personally met us in an easy to find location to help show us to the apartment. The apartment was super clean and had all the amenities needed. Best of all oh so good AC in the blistering Italian heat. We have 3 teens so 3 separate beds is amazing if you like to avoid the fights around sofa beds or sharing a bed.

• Charles (9/5): We had a great stay in our 'hide away' flat in the middle of Venice - The location is close to a vaporetto stop - a must in Venice - but not in a crowded area. The flat was quiet, clean and comfortable. Nicely private. all was good
• Tiffany (9/5): Perfect family flat convenient to everything! - Daniele was a wonderful host, meeting us at the vaporetto stop and introducing us to the flat. Flat was very comfortable in size and nicely furnished. As a family of 5, it was great to have 2 full bathrooms, and each was nicely appointed. You can glimpse a little of the Grand Canal from the living room window -- super convenient location. Air conditioning worked almost too well! Daniele's flat made for a lovely end to our time in Italy. We had trouble with the bathroom door locks and front door key, but those were maybe "us" problems. :) I really cannot find fault in anything else.

It is in a great location, near the water bus and in the middle of the tourist attractions. Nothing bad to say. I would suggest a mirror in the living room area so that more people can get ready in the morning.

The location was amazing - a quiet protected courtyard within easy walking distance to the Rialto Bridge and the Number 1 vaporetto. Our friendly host met us at the vaporetto stop and gave us a good orientation of the apartment and the area. The apartment was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were good sized with comfy beds, there are 2 bathrooms plus a washing machine and a pretty living room. We did eat in several nights and though the kitchen is small, we had no problems with preparing simple meals. We totally enjoyed coming back to the apartment when we went out to dinner and being able to hang out in the living room. There are a huge number of shops and food options in the area. We were spoiled for sure. We felt 100% at home and would stay there again next time we visit Venice. Nothing!

• Linsdell (8/5): Spacious, modern and quiet apartment for family in a perfect location. - Spacious, great location, host met us at vaporetto to take us to apartment. Modern amenities in original building. Quiet. Heated bathroom floor appreciated. 2 bathrooms The beds were not particularly comfortable. We couldn’t control the heating which was too hot.

The apartment was spotless and spacious and our host was incredibly accommodating and helpful. It was the perfect base to see Venice as a family - very quiet so we all had a good nights’ sleep, plenty of hot water and felt safe and secure.

Very conveniently located near the Vaporetto line and Rialto bridge, yet very quiet! Not to mention, Daniele is a warm, responsive and friendly host!

• Gatt (10/5): A little oasis in the middle of the city - The apartment felt very homely and comfortable. The beds very very comfortable, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The view out the living room window into the little square was very pretty. Close enough to be in the bustle of the Rialto Bridge area in a couple of minutes, but outside of the busy area so it was very quiet at night. Nothing :)

It is close to all major points in Venice. Perhaps replacement of couch( it was draped in what appeared to be a bed sheet cover)…noticed my kids didn’t sit there once. Perhaps a new couch would make the apartment a 10+ stay.

• Dan (10/5): Comfy and clean apartment steps away from the vaporetto and an easy walk to the sights. - Very close to the vaporetto but consider walking instead of waiting for a boat every time you want to go somewhere; Venice is a maza but Casa Barzizza is not too far of a walk from the main attractions. The apartment was very clean, with a small laundry area just outside one of the bathrooms. It has a nice little dining/kitchen area, plus a sitting area with a couch and chairs, separated by a short hallway from the two bedrooms. No complaints.

His restaurant recommendation was excellent. It was close and served delicious food The apartment was close to the Rialto bridge. Lots of hot water for the two showers. Comfortable single beds. Lack of crockery. E.g. Only 3 mugs for 5 of us. Fridge that kept falling forwards with difficult handles. We couldn’t use most of sockets despite our adapters, Waste bin under sink was full from previous occupants. Double bed needs checking.
• Rod (10/5): Perfect stay - Daniele met us at the Vaporetto (ferry) stop. This made getting to the apartment (which is very close to the Vaporetto) so much easier. The apartment is better than we could have hoped - it is truly lovely and very comfortable, even with a family of 5. The apartment location is superb - close to various restaurants and sightseeing spots. Everything was great - no negatives.

Ideal for a family of 5. Daniele was very helpful with our luggage and also assisted us with booking a water taxi. Excellent value all round. There was nothing not to like about the apartment.
• Venessa (10/5): Great stay!! - Location was fantastic... several minutes from the Rialto Bridge and close to one of the main thoroughfares. The host Daniele was so helpful. We connected on WhatsApp prior to my arrival and he helped answer questions i had and clarified things to make my trip better. His apartment had all the conveniences you needed and was so clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and would happily stay there again on my next visit to Venice. I had no issues.
