Guest Reviews
- Alexander (2/5): Dirty, moldy apartment with poor value—avoid. - Location was on the main island. 35 min walk to Plaza S. Marco! I recently stayed in this apartment in Venice, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The place was dirty and poorly maintained, with visible damage, like exposed wiring, and even mold on the walls. It felt neglected and far from what was advertised.
The apartment had been divided into three smaller units to maximize profit, which made the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was especially problematic—it was essentially built into a closet, which was both impractical and unpleasant.
Additionally, the host was quite intrusive, which made the stay even less enjoyable.
Overall, I cannot recommend this apartment. The price-performance ratio is extremely poor and feels like a typical tourist trap in Venice.

- Ivan (8/5): Very good experience, I am pleasantly surprised. - Very pleasant host. Nice location, not too far from most of the city's attractions. The apartment is pretty clean and it had everything I needed for the stay. The neighbours got a bit noisy at times, but it's understandable. Also a coat hanger would be nice, although i managed that by hanging my coat onto the door knob. :)
- Lisa (7/5): Comfortable and convenient. Good for a 1-week stay. - The apartment was in a very good location - near two Vaporetto stations (Giardini & Giardini Biennale) and near Via Garibaldi, with many shops and places to eat. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was always pleasant in the apartment. There were no cooking utensils in the kitchen (spatula, large spoon, sharp knife, etc.), and the stools at the table were uncomfrotable. Also, there are very specific guidelines for disposing of trash in Venice, and it would have been a good idea if the hosts had informed us about them at the beginning of our stay. We had to contact them on our next-to-last day to find out what to do.
- Manuel (2/5): -
- Oleksandr Melnyk (10/5): -
- Emil (5/5): - Location was great, the host was also very nice and friendly 1. The smell of the place
2. The mattress was just horrible, I still have neck pain from it
- Aeschlimann (8/5): -
- Hamilton (9/5): Great time, lots of bars, cafes restaurants nearby - Great location and quite Small
- Mirka (8/5): -
- Mirza Ateeque (1/5): Bad experience - The host was helpful and friendly and the location was good. The room was full of mosquito's, me and my wee fe both got bitten plenty, the shower had no hot water the first night,.the toilet didn't flush and the sheets felt dirty.
- Ayşe Gülsüm (8/5): -
- Mario Giuseppe (9/5): nessun problema sia per il soggiorno che per i servizi - Semplicità e comodità le scale
- James (6/5): -
- Washington (9/5): Superb - Great location for visitors to the Biennale. It's perfect for solo travelers. While not luxurious, it is practical. The staff is kind and helpful.
- Rafael (9/5): Excellent spot, would gladly recommend it - The location is perfect for attending the Biennale, as it's close to both the Giardini and the Arsenale. Also close to the Vaporetto water bus stop. There are plenty of good restaurants and markets at the nearby Garibaldi street as well. And not too far from Piazza San Marco either. Super convenient.
Room is spacious and well-equipped. No issues with noise (I'm very sensitive). Heating and AC both working fine. Compact kitchen, but enough for preparing our breakfast. Shower is quite spacious too.
Staff is attentive and communicative and solved our issues quickly.
Overall great value. No elevator, had to bring our luggage up a few flights of stairs. Water heating wasn't working on the first night, but the staff solved it early the next morning.
- Sabina (2/5): Very poor -
- Rebecca (7/5): Very clean and friendly - The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The option to leave our suitcases in a safe location after check out was really excellent. The apartment was very clean and the coffee was excellent We were unable to meet our host personally when we arrived at 7pm and we were given the incorrect code for the lock box so couldnt enter the apartment for several hours which was stressful. The decor in the flat was very basic and did not reflect the beauty of Venice
- Erin (7/5): Good - Location was great and sign in was very easy! It was simple and comfy and clean Wi-FI didn't work for two days
- Ruslan (6/5): Pleasant - The place is not clean. Not very convenient to use. No proper chair, only stools, for example. No hangers in the room, only a cabinet, that is built in the wall and is not convenient to use. No hangers in bathroom. I didn't like it :)
- Andrea (8/5): A fantastic location and attentive hosts - The location is excellent. 3 minutes from the art Biennale Giardini and in a quiet and beautiful part of Venice. Great places to eat and drink very near. Lovely balcony. Bright space. Attentive hosts who kept in touch via WhatsApp and answered my transport questions. Comfy bed. The flat needs redecoration and updating. There is damp under the balcony doors. The late check in fees caused me stress. I arrived with 5 minutes to go!
- Andrea (7/5): Good -
- Nicola (3/5): Complete rip off - Bed comfortable Air conditioning didn’t work properly- it was 33 degrees the whole time
No hot water for last 2 days
Curtains ridiculous strips that didn’t block out the light
- Vijay (5/5): Passable - Location was good and near by stores, restaurants and park.
Kitchenette helped a lot with breakfast. Air conditioner was not good, took a long time to cool the room.
And the other room was not cooled.
- Alec (9/5): Superb -
- David (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing location just minutes away from Biennale venues and Via Garibaldi. The property is very nice but needs some maintenance. Sometimes it was a bit noisy at night.
- Yuuka (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michela (7/5): Nice stay for max 3 people, too small for 4 - Very comfy, clean, nice, beautiful light and location The pictures of each apartment are all mixed up, so you don't really understand how big are the places. The sofa is too small for two boys of 12 and 14 yo
- Tone (8/5): Very good - The sofabed was a little uncomfertable, otherwise the place was great
- Brigitte (8/5): A lovely break, nice apartment, - It was a very clean apartment with comfy beds, a lovely balcony, plenty of space, nice shower gel, and good storage and hanging space. Short walk to the waterbus stop. It was very noisy. The apartment above were very noisy, and you could hear people just below in the street. It was a slightly long walk to the main area, but the Garibaldi 2 mins walk away was very convenient with supermarkets and cafes.
- Antonia (8/5): Great choice near Giardini - A great place for one person when visiting Venice for the Biennale. Close to Giardini, shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Quite street but still central.
- Keagan (9/5): Superb -
- Ana (10/5): We were there for the Biennale. It’s very close to the property, not even a 5 minute walk from Giardini. - Cute apartment, very nice location and nice window view, gives an authentic Venetian vibe. The room was clean, they provide you with towels and soap, a hairdryer and a clothing iron. There is NO smell like some people said, but even if there is it’s not the property’s fault, it’s just how Venice is. Loved it! :) Nothing.
- Filippo (1/5): terrible apartment rooms to ruin the beauty of Venice experience - I liked leaving this place after my stay -the building door at street level cannot lock
-the building stair smells bad
-room door has a hole covered with tape
-the room smell like sewage
-walls are full of blood from dead insects and dirty
-walls are thin : you can hear everything from all neighbors (above, below and on sides)
-timber door frames are rotten in the toilet
-curtain has never been cleaned: stains, powder and god knows what else.
-bed head is worn and poorly maintained
-window roller shutter not working properly
-fridge cabinet in the room is missing pieces of panels
-staff ask you to pay city tax in cash and has no change so it asks you to go to bars and change money yourselves
- Renato (9/5): Superb -
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucas (8/5): Very good -
- Reem (7/5): Good -
- Tracey (7/5): Good -
- Fatima (8/5): It was an okay stay for a short period of time. It’s very convenient if you intend to visit the Venice Biennale because - It was close to Via Garibaldi which has cute restaurants and much quieter than the busy part in Venice They charge you extra for late check in and the day I came the water buses were on strike and had to walk all the way to the apartment from the station. If
I arrived later they would have charged me for late check in
- Anonymous (5/5): Venice great, apartment never again - Somewhat the location No conveniences at all. Not enough outlets, no coffee Nespresso machine, no where in bathroom to put supplies on shelf in shower area, air conditioner did not cool down apartment enough, no lift, safety handrail on stairwell ready to break off (dangerous).
- Tess (8/5): Very good - In residential area. Quiet & convenient Very steep stairs. 3 locked doors to enter property
- Yoshiko (5/5): Comfortable but small - Close the biannual site Bed was old
- Valdas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edelitha (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Veronika (8/5): Very good -
- Aida (5/5): Expensive for the condition of the apartment. - Location was great. Quite and very close to the Biennale. For the price we payed I felt like the condition of the apartment was disappointing. Air condition did not work properly but luckily outside was cool so we slept with the windows open most of the nights. Seems like they only clean the sink and mirror after the last guest as the floor of shower area was dirty, which was a huge turn off. We found ourselves making sure we spend as much time outside and come back to the apartment really late just to shower and sleep because we didn't feel comfortable to chill and relax in the room.
- Sammy (8/5): Very good -
- Cristi (9/5): Great stay - The communication with the owner was great and the check in was fast and easy. The room is in a nice quiet area, it is equipped with all the facilities including a fridge, a cooktop, cutlery etc.
Probably the best option on this price range A mosquito net would be very useful, although in the room there is a repellent tablet. Also the mattress was too soft and my back wasn't too happy, but that is because I have some back problems, so it's not a big thing...
- Ian (8/5): Pleasant basic accommodation. Good value for money. - Good location. Very quiet space not far from the crowds Walking upstairs
- Martina (9/5): Superb - Francesca was lovely and communication was great prior to arrival.
Bed was very comfortable. There were no shower gel or shampoos provided.
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Aleksandra (7/5): Good - not so close to centre but you can have a bit of local area experience. Very helpfull staff. Could have been a bit better maintained
- Siónna (8/5): Very good - Lovely, friendly hosts and a nice room. I was able to collect the keys from a safety deposit box, meaning I wasn’t rushing from my flight and was able to meet the host in the morning instead.
- John (1/5): We got another hotel at 1 am after we were set up for failure 😨 and spent another $120 it was worst - You gave us the right address and the proper info the next day when it was to late and the night from hell was over and we left Venice for Rome in the after noon please don’t charge us if you would have gave us the proper info in the first place this would never have happened 😩we used the gps from hotel name you gave us and hotel phone was wrong please have some mercy and please don’t charge us we are very traumatized from the night from hell 😭my girlfriend had to pee in the streets and have to spend another $120 at 130 am to get some rest and let’s say it was not a great night at all with my girlfriend 😭😡 You gave the wrong info that day we arrived Felix la bohemian apartment we put that in your gps and could not find and web sight phone was wrong 😡we get all this other right info the next when to late 😭
- Mirt (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): Good - Clean and confortable room with central location close to biennale and other locations. Very helpful staff, and warm welcome. Noisy fridge, and other clients checking in at night woke me up on a couple of occasion. Sometimes there was a bad smell, but not always.
- Iryna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anhela (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good if going to the biennale the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom and the room was not as light as in the pictures online
- Nada (8/5): Good quality for the price, excelent location - Quiet location, bakery next door, local people
- Francia (10/5): Excellent service and stay in a beautiful apartment - Everything:
location, comfortable bed, beautiful setting, all the staff very attentive (provided specific directions about how to get there without any issues), Ionela very kind, Francesca and Matteo as well. I’m beyond happy with everything! I’m sure going back 👌😊 nothing
(the toilet odor that people were complaining, I figured it out and placed the trash can to cover the shower drainage, so I didn’t have any issue with that matter).
- Andrea (8/5): I loved the quiet location and easy access to art biennale. The balcony was a real plus. - A light airy large 3rd floor apartment with a balcony. A view of quiet streets away from the noise. 3 minutes walk from the Giardini Biennale site. Very near the lush and peaceful end of Venice. Air conditioning was great on hot nights. Friendly welcome. The late check in fee I incurred because my flight was delayed. Apartment needs some redecorating. No microwave and only basic kitchen equipment.
- Agata (8/5): No problem with the self check out. - great support and service by FRancesca,
- Paivi (7/5): Felt over priced for its standard - The location is a very comfortable half hour walk from Rialto Bridge, close to the beautiful Giardini Della Biennale. The service by Francesca was helpful and accommodating. The room was very quiet and after using plenty of air freshener I slept well. The sewage smell from the bathroom hit me on the second day and pretty much ruined the rest of my stay. I was told the smell is common in Venice during low tide. The room is small, the furniture weathered, and there is no kettle for coffee. I found the overall standard quite poor value for the money.
- Amber (1/5): Bad - Nice host, not in central venice but that was also calming. Room smells very bad. This is a problem since 2019(!) if you read the reviews. Bed is too small for two persons, very unconfortable. Roller blind wasn't working so there was way to much sun in the room in the morning. This should not be called an apartement as it is to small, you have to use the sink in the bathroom for everything with water. The stove too small and unhandy. Eventhough it is venice so the prices are high, this apartement is waaay to high for what you get.
