• Letitia (10/5): Venetian Value and Convenience - It was in a quiet area but a short walk from a bustling canal or restaurants and bars. The host was super inviting and informative regarding Venetian ways and the local area. The living room was a bit barren could do with a piece or art or something to make it more inviting.
• MAYTE (10/5): - Maravilloso, sin lujos pero limpio, cómodo y completo. Es un piso bajo q se mantiene muy fresco (fuera estamos a 30 grados) con vistas al canal y el puente Ghetto Vecchio. La ubicación estupenda, estaba muy cerca el vaporetto y andando al Ponte Rialto eran 18 min. Cannaregio tiene muy buen ambiente.

Parfait - L'emplacement est ideal, au coeur du ghetto, dans le quartier cannareggio ,en venant de l'aeroport marco polo, direct par la ligne alilaguna orange, arrêt à Guglie puis 4/5 mn à pieds sans pont. Ideal aussi pour prendre le vaporetto pour san marco ou les îles. Le quartier est hyper calme, 2 boulangeries (+ café)à qques mètres, un bar à vin( Tappo) en face.pour dîner, plein de restos à proximité, notamment sur fondamente cannareggio. Quartier trés sûr. L'appartement est trés calme et propre , pas de probleme de débit d'eau à la douche( comme on peut le lire souvent à Venise), sanitaires neufs. Nous n'avons pas cuisiné mais il y a tt ce qu'il faut. Les draps et serviettes trés propres. On nous a accueilli parfaitement, avec tous les détails fournis. Le sommier du canapé lit à ressort est trés peu confortable... Le matelas du lit principal est passable( 2matelas regroupés) Il manquait 1 ou 2 dose de lessive pour dépanner , un détail

• Sharon (8/5): It was nice having kitchen facilities. - Excellent location if you desire to stay in the Jewish ghetto. My partner and I were both very cold, despite someone coming to make a minor adjustment to the heat.

• Diane (8/5): A great place to stay to experience the magic of Venice. - This was a really lovely spacious apartment, at street level, located in a quieter part of Venice, within easy walking access to the train station. It was very close to great restaurants and cafes, shops and vaporetto stops. Our responsive host provided us with some great recommendations and very helpful advice when we checked into the accommodation.
• Sabine (7/5): Die Wohnung hat keinen Charme, aber ist zweckmäßig und entspricht den Abblildungen. - Gute Lage in einem ruhigen Wohnhaus. Bis auf Bettwäsche und Handtücher ist die Ausstattung okay. Man hört den Lärm der Küchenabluft von der gegenüberliegenden Pizzeria. Es gibt auch bei längerem Aufenthalt keine Ersatzhandtücher mit dem Hinweis, man könne ja das eine Handtuch pro Person in der Waschmaschine waschen. Trocken werden die Handtücher dann allerdings nur, wenn es warm und trocken in Venedig ist.

• Aviva (10/5): - Convenient and central location. On the canal a bonus! Quiet. A whole apartment with kitchen, dining and living areas (or spare bed ), a sanctuary to come back to after a busy day exploring Venice Minor issue, the pillows are quite soft and squishy, would have preferred a firmer pillow or perhaps supply some extra pillows.
• Adriana (10/5): Home away from home, a comfortable refuge in Venice - The location was excellent in the Old Jewish Quarter, and although Venice generally is very touristy, the neighbourhood had lovely small shops and an excellent kosher bakery run by friendly people who made the stay memorable. The proximity to the Guglie vaporetto and Santa Lucia train station were also plus points. A very charming experience overall. Everything was very pleasant and nice. No complaints!
• Amarilla Fretes (10/5): Excelente para descansar luego de 15 dias haciendo tours, lo tiene todo. - La comodidad, es amplio y limpio. Para una estadía de 4 días debieron dejarnos dos juegos de toallas para cada uno ya que no pasan a ni a reponer nada. Tiene lavarropas, pero para días húmedos y lluviosos no fue necesario.
• JULIAN (9/5): - La ubicación es perfecta alejada relativamente del bullicio pleno,pero cerca de todo lo importante estacion tren,autobús,parada vaporeto guglie . La plaza San Marcos a menos de 30 min andando entre la multitud y haciendo algunas fotitos mientras caminas jjjjj. El apartamento tiene de todo, material para limpiarlo,para la vajillas,ducha ect ect muy limpio. La dueña Giovanna muy amable nos permitió salir más tarde de las 10h horas que marca la estancia ,pues nuestro vuelo salía de tarde a las 18,30h y no había ningún huésped para entrar un detalle. Que tuvimos que venirnos.....Venecia es un espectáculo en todos los sentidos preciosa te enamora...

• Rosalind (10/5): a perfect home away from home. - We wanted to be in the ghetto and this location was perfect. It was extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. The appartment was situaed in a building full of character and with canals surrounding us the views were perfect. I suggest the owners tell visitors to take the canal bus from the airport to Guglia. It was so difficult dragging our cases over the steep steps of the bridges.

Nothing for “welcome”. Not good decoration. The lights have different temperature colors (warm and cold) in the same room

• Margaret (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing and the host was very responsive and nice! I would stay there again if nothing else for the location. Managing garbage was a bit of a pain and there was only 1 shampoo and conditioner provided. I stayed many days so had to buy my own.
• Richard (10/5): 3 day pass to Venice Biennale, 2 at Giardine, 1 at Arsenale, and various other locations in the city - Wonderful quiet location. Easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, waterbus transport, railway station. Sadly the restaurant Al Faro, which we had eaten at with friends on a few occasions 11 years ago, was closed for renovations.
• Natalie (10/5): Host flexible and accommodating, apartment modern, clean, well equipped and well located in a less-touristy section of V - This little apartment is located on the first floor and the windows all face the canal. It is in the historic Jewish quarter, and across from a charming elementary school so you feel a part of real life and not just trapped in a tourist area but still close to everything. Giovanna was super accommodating around us arriving late due to a late flight, and a mixup we had when booking. The apartment was super clean, convenient, and very comfortable for our family.
• Roman (10/5): We really enjoyed this place and would choose it again! - We really enjoyed this place! It is located in a quiet historic area called Ghetto Vecchio and it is just a 12 minute walk from the train station. There is a fish market nearby (5 minute walk) as well as a couple of supermarkets (Despar and Conad) and a number of restaurants. Vaporetto stations are also not far from the apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy. Our host was easy to reach and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are dining amenities and pots, pans and dishes should you chose to cook. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would choose this place again!

• Adeela (9/5): Value for money in Venice. Helpful host , central location! - Very central location. Restaurants , snack bar and a bakery next door . Yet so quiet . It provides all the essentials that one need for holidays. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Giovanna has been signposting since the booking how to get to the apartment and I found the information very useful. Bathroom needs TLC , Sofa bed needs upgrading
• Engelina (7/5): An overall good stay! - The apartment was in a quiet area. Kitchen was well equipped. Supermarket, shops and restaurants very close. There are 2 bakeries right in the street! The shutters kept out the daylight in the morning which I enjoyed since I'm sensitive to light. Shower pressure was good. There were enough soft towels. I enjoyed being in a non touristy area. Opening the shutters and looking at the fish swimming by in the canal located adjacent to the apartment! Since I was staying for 8 nights I didn't think that 1.5 toilet roll was sufficient. This really annoyed me! Although not compulsory, it would have been nice to have some cooking oil. There was virtually none!. There were 4 ceiling lights in the kitchen of which 3 were warm light and 1 bright LED light.This was irritating and even more so because this light kept on flickering. So, I ended up just turning of the lights. The lounge was very bare and had a very bright white center light. But also a standing lamp in the corner. Alas, the power point was broken and it was impossible to plug the lamp in. In the lounge is also a desk and chair. The chair looked like it had been found at the dump because the covering was torn all over. While looking at the chair I also noticed that behind the desk the power point complete with wires was hanging out of the wall. The TV worked well! Another annoying thing was that the bathroom door scrapes along the floor and the thing where the water comes out of in the shower itself kept falling down and was just about impossible to tighten. However, the most annoying thing was the fact that the bottom bedsheet was not wide enough and easily loosened itself when you turned in the night resulting in one gigantic messy bed. I've stayed in enough hotels and AirBNB's to know that this is not normal. Every morning I had to just about completely remake the bed. IMHO most of these issues are easily fixed and should you not put off staying here. On the whole my stay was comfortable but could have been much better once these cosmetic issues have been fixed.

• Tereza (9/5): Superb - The location was absolutely amazing - the northern part of inner Venice, walking distance everywhere. You can really feel the true atmosphere of Venice. There were gondolas riding in front of our windows. It is difficult to dry wet bathing suits in the apartment (we went to Lido several times during our stay) - would it be possible to put some outside of the windows maybe?

Great communication with the host who was exceptionally accommodating with our arrival time. Large apartment with everything you need. Very clean and quiet. Recommend the Gondola ride just outside the apartment. 😊

• Lyosh (10/5): Perfect location, spacious place with a canal view in the best part of town - The most brilliant hostess went over the top to help us with a small problem we have encountered. The airport connection is brilliant with Guglie boat stop just 3 min away, for Alilaguna (Linea Arancio) direct to Marco Polo. The Ghetto area is a wonderful part of Venice. Plenty of bars along the canal (rio della Misericordia), piles of cicchetti and rivers of Selekt, Aperol and Campari. And the beautiful jewish singing at the nearby square during the shabbat is the icing on the cake. A perfect spot in a perfect location. Highly recommended.
