- Pauline (10/5): Clean comfortable apartment in nice area. - Spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment. In the San Polo area of Venice with lots of cafes shops bars and restaurants close by. Some noise at night but not too bad ( we were there over the weekend, there were some hen do's) Anne the host friendly, informative, good communicator and best of all sheet us at the station and walked us to the apartment. This is a massive plus as there are no actual addresses in Venice, just areas and door numbers. Google maps works mostly but we would have really struggled to start with. Was chilly at night but at the end we found extra fleece covers for the bed! 🤦🏻♀️

- Gillian (10/5): We would stay here again - Location - excellent.
The owners - go over and above to make your stay special.
Apartment - plenty of room, airy and lots of equipment.
Great restaurants nearby which is great after a long day out.
Lovely shower. Maybe a modern, small coffee maker? (There is a filter coffee machine there.)
- Claire (10/5): We had a very happy 5-night stay and hope to be back. Thank you Anne! - Anne was a very kind host. She was responsive to all our messages, and went above and beyond to help us. She met us at the bus station upon arrival and walked us to the apartment, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was very comfortable and well-equipped. There is a supermarket very close by. We were able to enjoy breakfasts/lunches at home. The apartment is super well-located. There are some great recommendations for nearby restaurants in the information folder in the apartment. We particularly enjoyed La Bitta. We experienced some street noise/noise from the apartment building opposite late at night. (The apartment building itself was very quiet.) I don't think this can be avoided if you want an apartment in the city centre though, and everything else definitely outweighed this slight annoyance.
- Cd (5/5): Good location - The location of the apartment is great.
The size of the apartment is good.
Nicoletta, who is the friend of the owner, picked us up from the station and walked with us to the apartment. She was amazing, very friendly and helpful.
The apartment has all the equipment that you need for a few days stay.
Some biscuits and milk were in the apartment. The windows are very thin; we heard loud voices from outside every night.
The place could do a bit better with the dust cleaning.
A big piece of wall and paint was missing by the single bed in the living room; it gave not a very nice impression.
We were disappointed that the wine was not there as stated in the description. Especially since it was my dad's birthday.
The toiletries were not there; the only thing we had was the hand wash on the sink.
Also, we only had 2 rolls of toilet paper provided by the owner for 3 people for 3 nights, which wasn't enough.
If you like to watch TV (not in our case), there is but very little.
It's worth being aware that in Venice, when you rent the apartment, you are responsible for throwing out the rubbish. They collect different types of rubbish every day, and you need to look for a place to leave it (as per the instruction and map left in the apartment).
- Kelvin (9/5): Superb - Anne was an excellent host who met us at the train station. The unit was about a 13 min walk from the station over three step bridges and up a flight of stairs 😅. Once inside the unit was great, well equiped and clean. Anne explained what sites were close by and other general tips, and really helped make our stay in Venice enjoyable! Thanks Anne 😊
- Suzi (9/5): Central & spacious apartment - Anne met us at the bus stop to guide us to the apartment which was very much appreciated! The central location of this apartment is superb, you are within easy walking distance of all areas of Venice and just a couple of mins from Vaporetto & Traghetto stops. The apartment is roomy and well equipped. The photos shown are accurate.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liviu (10/5): A Venetian pearl - We appreciated from the first moment the care for our comfort because the host arranged for us to be picked up from Piazalle Roma and guided to the location.
Venezia is a labyrinth of tiny streets among which there are a lot of canals over which there are pedestrian bridges.
I don't think we would have managed to get to the location on the first evening only with Google Maps, which rarely managed to position me on the street I was actually on.... So thanks!
The apartment is a tourist location (and not a residential apartment for the owners) which means that their main concern was to facilitate the needs of a tourist as much as possible.
We appreciated the position, the size, the setup of the apartment and its equipment. We had practically everything we could have wanted for our time in Venice and we noticed the professional approach of the host (there is even a file in the apartment full of information that a tenant needs).
Very close there is a market, a vaporetto station and a gondola crossing, so you can get practically anywhere both on the water and on the streets. The location is without a doubt perfect for a couple but also for a family with a child and is useful both for a short stay and (especially!) for a longer one in Venice. The bedroom windows faced a small square.
In a couple of nights I felt like a Venetian and sent only "good" thoughts towards the tourists who were dragging their luggage and talking loudly in the middle of the night. I can understand the need to travel on foot, in the middle of the night, from who knows what location to God knows what destination BUT why was it necessary for them to speak so loudly?
Tourism undoubtedly brings benefits to the Venetians, but also a discomfort that can hardly be overlooked!
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Rita (10/5): Anne was a lovely hostess, easy to get ahold of, and the apartment was very clean, comfortable and was in a great locati - Close proximity to train and bus stations, as well as the vaporettos. Nice to have a large apartment to relax in after a busy day. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of windows kept the apartment cool in the evenings. Having our hostess meet us at the train station was a huge bonus. Nothing
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Frances (10/5): Exceptional - It had great facilities, was well equipped with tea and coffee, and Anne was a great host
- Kalia (9/5): Superb - The apartment offers great facilities and amazing location. Our host greeted us at the bus station to walk us to the apartment, while water, wine, biscuits were offered in the apartment. Very clean, spacious and central place to stay, highly recommended.
- Anonymous (10/5): we came for 3 nights for the Biennale and it was perfect. - everything!
so much room- such a great location and we were so well looked after.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (9/5): Superb - Lovely Anne our host meet us at San Toma to show us our way to the apartment. The apartment was relatively large up two flights of stairs, light and airy and equipped with everything we needed. Anne provided milk, tea, biscuits upon our arrival and bottle of wine which was a lovely touch! Everything was wonderful. It's difficult to find accommodation in Venice without stairs but my 84 year old mother was able to manage the stairs. The apartment is large compared to orevious I've stayed in with separate kitchen, lounge and bathroom.
- Christoph (9/5): Very personal - do it! - extremely friendly. We were personally picked at the meeting point railway station. We finished a 10 days Transalp from Munich by bicycles. we’re accompanied personally to the flat and got lots of really worthy insider tips. WiFi good, large apartenent, enough facilities in kitchen. Air conditioned. Centrally located, but quit during night. Lightcolor a bit cool, chairs in kitchen uncomfortable. Air condition could be stronger, but it’s sufficient.
