• Jürgen (10/5): Einzigartige Lage mit Terrasse und unglaublichem Blick auf den Canale Grande - TOPP - Das Apartment besticht durch seine einzigartige Lage mit der Terrasse und unglaublichem Blick auf den Canale Grande. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich viele Geschäfte, Supermarkt und Restaurants und Cafés. Einen Katzensprung entfernt die Vaporetto Haltestelle Ca D’Oro von der aus sich mit der Linie 1 alle wichtigen Punkte erreichen lassen. Gleichfalls direkt nebenan ist die Gondel-Fähre zur anderen Kanalseite (2 Euro/Person) sowie die Station von etwa 20-30 Gondolieri, die abends direkt vor der Terrasse ihre Gondeln über Nacht „einparken“. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen – die Unterkunft bietet an Ausstattung alles, was benötigt wird. Die Einrichtung ist eher verspielt mit antikem Charme aber funktionell. Das Bett und die Matratzen sind gut. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die nette Betreuung von Raffaella von der Agentur bei Ankunft, während und auch bei Abreise, für die wir uns nochmals bedanken. Einzig kritisch anzumerken ist ein fehlender Sonnenschirm/-Schutz auf der Terrasse, die von mittags bis abends in voller Sonne liegt. Leider fehlten während unseres Aufenthaltes auch die auf den Fotos vorhandenen Pflanzen zur Begrünung der Terrasse, was dem insgesamt außerordentlich positivem Eindruck aber keinen Abbruch verleiht. Fehlender Sonnenschirm/-Schutz auf der Terrasse.

• marina (10/5): traumlage direkt am canale grande mit eigener terrasse - traumhafte lage direkt am canale grande: auf der eigenen terrasse sitzt man in der 1. reihe, um gondeln, schiffe und das bunte treiben zu beobachten. vaporetto-haltestelle nur ca. 200 meter entfernt; rialto-(fisch)markt genau gegenüber; viele empfehlenswerte restaurants und bars in laufnähe. die küchenzeile ist gut ausgestattet. sehr freundlicher und entgegen kommender empfang durch das vermieter-team und super kommunikation über whatsapp (auch viele tipps). nicht negativ, aber sollte man/frau wissen: die wohnung liegt im erdgeschoss, aber dorthin geht es über mehrere stufen hoch und runter; das gilt auch für die terrasse.

• Tom & Barb (10/5): Wonderful Apartment with Terrace on the Grand Canal. - It was great to sit out on the terrance to watch the boat traffic. The gondoliers tucked away their boats in the evening and prepped them in the morning. We enjoyed watching them with our evening cocktail and morning coffee in hand. Easily accessible by vaporetto (water bus). (Research this in advance.) Walking distance to San Marcos Square and to Rialto Bridge (and market). Nearby vaporetto dock makes getting anywhere easy. Well equipped kitchen with full refrigerator. Kitchen generously stocked with water and snacks. Grocery store is a short walk away. Agnes is a kind and helpful host. Bedroom receives a lot of night time light from the lobby. Black-out curtains in addition to the sheers would be excellent.

• Rajkumar (9/5): The hosts Agnes and co were super helpful and and allowed us an early check in and a late check out. - The property was conveniently located to local shops and restaurants within a 1 minute walk, Rialto Bridge was about 10 minutes walk through a parade of shops, restaurants and mini bridges. Gondola rides and Waterbus Stop were literally two minutes away. Local Coop supermarket was nearby for anything that you forgot to pack. Maybe look at providing an electric kettle and a microwave oven (although appreciate that this may need a bit of electrical work to make it happen) - not a deal breaker.

Will be back for another vacation. The wi-fi connection was very bad, this is the only complaint I can tell about this place, everything else was great.

• Cindy (10/5): Wonderful apartment with fabulous terrace !! - The apartment was very spacious, clean & comfortable with a magnificent view of the Grand Canal from inside and especially outside on the terrace…OMG !! Don’t think you can get any better than this terrace. There are a couple dozen gondolas that park out along the canal in front of the apartment, was interesting to watch them ready for the day and return to ‘park’ the gondolas for the night. Was so relaxing to sit on the terrace and watch life on the water, as well as sunrises & sunsets. Truly breathtaking. The apartment had everything we needed, was quiet, kitchen very well stocked, bathroom amenities, comfy bed, extra blankets if needed, etc. On the kitchen table was a nice tray of snacks…we hadn’t eaten lunch yet so when we arrived it was a welcomed treat !! The apartment is a straight shot from the train station, we walked it…took maybe 15 min. The apartment is just a few steps off the Strada Nova and roughly a 5 min walk to Ca’ d’Oro Vaporetto stop. Plenty of shops, restaurants, markets & anything else you’d want within a very short distance. Excellent communication with Agnes, she responded promptly to our messages and questions. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend the apartment to others. Though I did see previous reviews on the see-thru curtains in the entry, I must say I 'assumed' it would be corrected by now since it is a privacy issue. Guests can be seen in the hallway to the bathroom & bedroom from the apartment lobby if the apartment lights are on and from the apt hallway you can also see those coming into the apartment building when the lobby lights are on. There is a 'pocket door' that slides across separating the hallway from the living room but if that is not closed, those in the lobby could then also see into the living area. Also, the deadbolt on the entry door was broken so one has to assume that the door when closed is 'secure' from being opened from the outside. These are both easy fixes and should be addressed so guests feel more secure.
• Jill (10/5): We loved this place! - The location was terrific - far enough from the crowds, but still easy to access the major sites. The location was especially nice because 20-25 gondolas docked there overnight. It was great entertainment to watch the gondoliers preparing the gondolas for the night & setting them up in the morning. The decor was rather eclectric & not entirely to my taste, but really not a problem.

The apartment is immaculate and supplied with everything from iron to note pad and everything you need to cook if you want to. Fantastic communication from the management. Wifi was patchy at best. Ironically worked outside. There is a large window out to the entrance way and this does not have a curtain. They have put a curtain up to shield the bed but it’s too small, also when you go into the corridor you can be seen from the hallway.

• Arlena (9/5): Amazing canal views!!! - The views from the apartment were amazing and you are right on the grand canal! the outdoor terrace was for our own private use and we loved spending time outside watching the boats go by. The apartment is well located near restaurants and 15 min walk from main sights. There is a vaporetto stop very close also. Great communication with staff, who were always available to help us and also helped us book taxi transfers to and from. The apartment was spacious for 2 people and had everything we needed. Worth noting there is a small section where there are only curtains between the bedroom and the building foyer and you can see through the gaps of the curtain a little. Might help if the curtain was a little longer to cover the full section. Apart from this, we had a wonderful stay and the apartment was wonderful!

• Adam (7/5): Good - Location and managers Our booking with Booking.com said the city taxes were included so we did not leave them in the room. We were then pursued for payment which as far we were concerned was included in the booking cost. It ultimately turned out that the owners had not taken the city tax when charging our card so we then had to arrange payment again. Please can owners and booking.com decide whether they are including city tax or not so we do not have this sort of bother while trying to relax on holiday.
