• Raphael (8/5): Chouette pied à terre pour découvrir Venise - Les échanges étaient agréables et efficaces. Bonne situation de l’appartement et les lits étaient confortables. Nous avons également profité de la cuisine qui était bien équipée. Un vieil appartement vénitien plein de charme. Ça aurait été agréable de ne pas devoir gérer les poubelles le jour du départ. Et ça sentait effectivement la poussière humide dans l’appartement, mais je pense que c’est difficile de faire mieux à Venise quand on est au rez de chaussée dans une petite rue qui ne reçoit pas beaucoup de soleil.
• Ashley (10/5): Beautiful property - It is a 40 min walk away from the train station, and 22 mins away if you take the ferry. The location is right next to so many restaurants and even the Rialto Bridge. The inside is so beautiful and spacious. Lots of amenities You can hear people walking by all night and you can also hear the upstair neighbors

Paola was exceptionally helpful and quick to respond via WhatsApp and bpoking.com messaging. Apartment easy to find, close to vaporetto stop Quite a lot of foot traffic past window in the morning on their way to the vaporetto with a bit of noise associated with it Not at all the fault of the apartment.- otherwise it was a fantastic and good value place to stay We will definitely be back

• beth (9/5): La ubicación es genial... - La ubicación el confort te sientes como en casa todo es hogareño la calecacion genial.. lo mejor de todo la ubicación puedes ir caminando a todos lados.. hay un mini market cerca si lo necesitas.. Paola que fue quien nos recibió muy agradable con un español muy fluido.. la pasamos genial la habitación secreta los niños les pareció genial y entretenido puedes llegar a Venecia y luego caminar hasta el lugar sin tener q pagar el vaporetto.. aún así la parada de vaporetto está súper cerca la ubicación q tiene excelente

• Jane (8/5): Good value apartment in a great location. - Good location, walking distance to all the sites and a short walk from the vaporetto stop. The apartment was comfortable and cosy, and Paola who we did the check in with was very communicative and helpful. Very good value for money overall. Heating didn’t work properly the first day so it was a bit cold (we stayed in winter), but it heated up the next day and the owner was in contact about it the whole time. The shower is a bit mouldy but I imagine that’s a problem in Venice generally.

• Lisa Beech (10/5): Excellent apartment, close to the attractions but still private, especially the outdoor courtyard. - I loved the location and that there was a private outdoor courtyard. The host graciously approved an early check-in and met us with the keys. Check out was easy. I was able to use the ironing board and iron. I highly recommend this apartment. There was a charming second room which we didn't need as we used the main bedroom with the large comfy bed. The only thing that I didn't like was that the apartment was a bit dark as it was on the ground floor, but otherwise this didn't affect our stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The host was lovely—gracious, responsive, and clearly dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for guests. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Christine who the host had meet us at the water taxi to get us checked in and supported us throughout our time in Venice. She went above and beyond—offering helpful recommendations, answering our questions, and always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and full of Venetian charm. It was the perfect home base—peaceful, well-equipped, and ideally located for exploring the city, especially with our 2 year old. It was a quiet neighborhood but a short walk to the big ticket items. We left Venice with full hearts and incredible memories. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

• Diana (10/5): Magical spot in VENICE! - We had a truly wonderful stay! The location is absolutely amazing—peaceful, charming, and even better than we imagined. Communication was seamless from start to finish, and everything was thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. The place itself exceeded the photos, which is rare to say these days. It’s a perfect spot for families. The little garden was a private haven where we could relax while the kids played, and the secret door added a touch of magic that made our stay even more memorable. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. This place is a real gem, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! We LOVED everything!
• Darla (10/5): Exceptional - This is a lovely apartment! The furniture and decor are fabulous! So much character. We loved it! The amenities provided are as listed. There is a coffee machine, but no coffee. To be fair, coffee is not listed, so be prepared to do a little shopping if you want a cup before you go out each day. There are shops nearby, and it's a good way to get oriented to the neighborhood! The location is perfect if you want a quiet side street. It's a short walk to many places you'll want to see. The courtyard is charming. I would 100% stay here again. If you want to feel Venice in your lodging, this is a perfect place! We liked everything!
• Argesanu (10/5): Great stay at Ca de Casanova - We had an excellent stay at Ca de Casanova. Immediately after I booked the place, I received a lot of information from the owner. Afterwards, we kept in touch with Paola, the person who welcomed us. She asked us all the information related to our journey and she was extremely nice to let us check in earlier. She is very organized, she explained us all that we needed to know about the place. The place has all that you need inside and it was perfect for our family of 5, including a baby, for which we received a crib.
• Simone (8/5): Very good - Two bedroom apartment gave our family space to stretch out. Easy walk to major attractions. The leopard print sheets were a bit much and make it hard to tell if linen is clean. You do have to coordinate rubbish collection which can be a bit difficult if you have recycling that isn't scheduled to be picked up that day. It would also be helpful to have a bit more information on the local area (restaurants, supermarkets etc)

• Maddalena (5/5): Cute home and location, but could have been more welcoming. - Cute house, secret door bedroom and quirky fun decor. Good location. The host who met us was unwelcoming. She set a bad tone for us right away. The toilet had to be flushed multiple times to work properly. No one came in to clean on our second day. She asked us to take out the garbage rudely and was very abrupt.

She provided lots of information and recommendations about Venice and was just so lovely! This apartment is a hidden gem in the best location! It is so authentic and really added to our experience in Venice. The hidden room was a big hit with my children. Would highly recommend the apartment and host! Thank you for a wonderful stay ☺️
• Helen (9/5): Comfortable stay in an attractive apartment within walking distance of San Marco. - Nicely furnished and comfortable beds. The location was excellent- quiet but near to San Marco. The pretty courtyard garden was a bonus. There was nothing I didn’t like. There wasn’t much natural light but that was to be expected and the garden made up for it.

San Marco and the Rialto Bridge are only short walks away. The atmosphere of the apartment is very relaxing, and my children loved their 'Secret Room'. We loved spending time in the garden in the evening and our host was very helpful. Highly recommend!

We loved the authenticity of the apartment with its traditional venitian decor. The air conditioning worked incredibly well, the rooms are very spacious and having the outdoor space was a lovely bonus. Due to the amazing location we were able to break up our days easily and return to the apartment for respite from the heat and our tired feet! The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful and for our family this apartment was a fantastic base for us in Venice. We would have appreciated a few more cooking utensils and basic kitchen essentials.

• Jolee (7/5): Our stay was perfect for us :) - The location is perfect, communication with the host/person who was meeting us was really great. It was very busy during our stay (May school holidays UK) and the host gave us advice on how to get to the apartment to avoid the crowds. We walked from the train station to the apartment with the help of a map and it was one of the best things we did. We got to see so much on the walk alone (dont get me wrong it was tiring & hot carrying small suitcases over bridges but it was worth it for us). The apartment is very charming, and did have the home from home feel to it. The outside space is a nice touch after a long tiring day. It is a fairly spacious apartment, well equipped, plenty of space for your belongings to be stored away. Lovely secret room too. There is only one very slight downside for us, and before I mention it this is something we expected and most probably should be generally accepted in Venice anyway, there is a damp issue. It was particularly obvious in the bathroom. On the whole this didnt bother us too much as it was clean, there is a dehumidifier doing its job and we spent alot of our time outside of the apartment anyway. I have mentioned this here as this may be something that may be problematic for other travellers health wise.

• Martha (8/5): Beautiful venitian apartment - Wonderful location close to a vaporetto stop and easy walking distance to major sites. The apartment has a workable kitchen and 2 full bedrooms so perfect for a family stay. It was also great to have outdoor space to relax in. Perhaps due to the recent wet weather the apartment was damp. The host did have a dehumidifier but it was still noticeable.
