• Prof. Dr. Oliver (10/5): Schönes und ruhig gelegenes Apartment, ideal für Biennale Besuch! - Wir haben uns in Casa Giulietta sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage im quirligen Quartiere Castello ist sehr schön – hier leben und kaufen viele Venezianer:innen ein, die mit ihren Kindern oder Hunden unterwegs sind, morgens gibt es auf einem Boot frisches Obst und Gemüse. Gleichzeitig ist die Wohnung geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr ruhig gelegen und besitzt mit ihrer historischen Einrichtung einen ganz besonderen Charme. Wir waren zur Biennale in Venedig und dafür war die Lage perfekt: Sowohl die Giardini als auch das Arsenale sind in nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Luca, der Host, war sehr freundlich und bei Fragen sehr hilfreich. Wir können die Casa Giulietta sehr empfehlen! Nichts, wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden.

Wouldn’t hesitate to - The property was in a residential area close to water bus and was filled with traditional Venetian charm. Very large and felt welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to return Nothing
• Elizabeth & Joe (8/5): - The apartment was spacious and clean. Kitchen and bathroom area were good. Bed was big and fairly comfortable, if a little creaky. Location was great - close to good local restaurants and the wonderful Via Garibaldi. There is nowhere comfortable to sit and relax at Casa Giulietta. If the large dining table and chairs in the living room were replaced by some good lounge furniture and a decent TV, it would make a huge difference to the comfort of the apartment. Should also mention that there are two long flights of steep stairs which would be difficult for anyone with any mobility issues to negotiate.

Luca est disponible et donne de bons conseils. A recommander La machine à laver ne fonctionnait plus quand on est arrivé

La rue où donne la grande chambre et le salon est bruyante (gens qui crient) dès le matin. en outre l'immeuble d'à côté était en travaux. mais cela nul n'y peut rien ! On ne peut faire le noir dans la chambre. mais avec un masque et des bouchons d'oreille, on dort bien.

• Thomas (10/5): Comfy apartment in charming neighborhood right by Bienniale. - The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well-equipped. The decor is somewhat dated, but that gave the apartment its charm. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfy. There were two smaller beds in the second room. The neighborhood is directly adjacent to the Bienniale sites (giardini, arsenal), but more importantly had a very "real venice" feel, with a small owner-owned shop across the way, an authentic trattoria (dai Tosi) 50 m away (meaning locals ate there), and a fine, more tourist-oriented, but very good trattoria right across the way. Short walk to via Garibaldi with all the shops and restaruants you could want, for less than closer to center (and much less crowded). This is not site-specific, but heed this warning for all of Venice: trash pickup is daily, door to door. A man yells from the street that they are picking up rubbish. Check schedule in ktichen for details. A barge also collects rubbish (from the canal off Fondamenta S. Guiseppe (or S. Isepo - both names seem to be used) , but only in the early morning. Otherwise, you have to chase down somebody pushing a rubbish hand-cart, but these are all gone by late morning. Also, TV in apartment is quite small.

• Marion (9/5): Comfy & great location - Fully equipped apartment in a great location, close to get groceries and to nice restaurants and great bars outside of purely touristic areas A bit cold in spring, but can easily be fixed with warmer sweaters and socks

• Julie (10/5): Best place to stay in Venice - The flat is very spacious and in a great location, tucked out of the way of the busy streets and tourists but near to a lovely little canal, calm and pleasant park and a nearby street of shops and restaurants. The flat has everything that you need and Luca is a kind and caring host who checks that everything is OK while you are there. The price is excellent when compared to other places on the island. Transport link to the airport is a10 minute walk but the water bus service is just 5 minutes away. I would definitely come back here to stay.
• Wolfgang (10/5): Comfortable apartment in a rustic style which has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Venice. - Host Luca kindly welcomed us at the Vaporotto (water bus) station, which is located near the accommodation. From the central railway station Santa Lucia you can go directly there. The apartment is comfortably furnished in a rustic style and has everything you need for a pleasant stay with self-catering. The location is great - quiet, but not far from the big promenade and Piazza San Marco. A recommended accommodation for any stay in Venice.

• Lee (10/5): comfortable, convenient & great location. - Lots of space, 3 rooms to sleep in if necessary, helpful host who communicated well. The location is excellent - 2 minutes walk from Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, which is one of the best places in Venice to grab a bite to eat & have a drink.
• Daniela (8/5): Very good - It is a big old venezian style apartment. You feel like at grandma´s home. Is not fancy, in a quiet and still residential area. I stay for 12 days due to working purposes. So I missed very much wi-fi and cleaning facilities, specially washing machine. With those two items the stay would be perfect.
