Aunque algo alejada de la plaza St. Marcos, de fácil acceso en vaporetto o a unos 30 minutos paseando. Baño muy amplio, aunque por las dimensiones sería muy útil poner baldas para poder dejar neceseres. Las camas no son demasiado cómodas, los colchones son muy blandos. En la cocina se echan de menos utensilios (tostadora, trapos de cocina...)

• CHUN YI (8/5): - It felt kinda weird staying there at first. It was a bit dark and kinda creepy. But after two days, I got used to it. There wasn’t any laundry detergent, the bathroom floor would flood every time I took a shower, and they didn’t provide enough body wash.But considering the price, I think those issues are reasonable.

• Veli-Matti (9/5): Big and very nice, and worth it for a larger group, especially for a longer stay - The location was a short walk away from the Saint Lucia railway station, so it was reasonably easy to get to. There was no elevator that we could see, but the apartment was in the first floor, so hauling up the carry-on bags was not an issue. As it was closer to the railway station, it did mean that it was a bit of a hike to San Marco, but that was part of the fun. Lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The apartment is also very big. We were just three, and it could have very easily have housed a couple of more friends/family. So if you are travelling with a bigger group, it becomes better value for the money. For just three, it was getting a bit pricy, but again, it is Venice. Also, since we spent our couple of days running around Venice, we didn't really take full advantage of the cooking facilities and the like, which would be an added value/saving compared to staying in a hotel. I really like having the comforts of home, like the full kitchen. The bathroom. The sliding door took some time to get familiar with; my mother almost locked herself in. The toilet was rather small for a big guy like me, not the most comfortable. And while the shower itself was nice, I think there was a gap between the screen and the bottom where the spray got out, so after the shower, the floor tended to be wet and need some mopping with the towels. This is obviously not the fault of the apartment, but despite it being already November, there were quite a lot of people still in the streets. I can only imagine what Venice looks like at the height of the tourist season!

• PHARISA (8/5): Very accessible apartment - An apartment is located very close to the station. It was so convenient to walk - just 5 mins. It was big enough for 5 people but note that there's only 1 bathroom. There is no lift but walking upstair just for 1 level. Standard amenities and facilities are provided. Manual and steps are provided in a very detailed manner, which makes our life much easier. The shower box doors cannot close properly, so the water was leaking out to the dry zone.

• Tom (5/5): It was an experience - Nice touristy area near the canal. Apt. was very neat and clean. The stairs going to the apartment are a tad tight. Couldn't find the light switch at first. Construction crap left in the hallway. Beds were too low for chubsters like me. Shower doors leaked and we slid halfway across the floor with all the water that leaked out and had to dry so nothing got ruined.

Overall we are very happy with our choice. The hallway leading up to the apartment itself looks a bit scary as it can be pretty dark. The floor of the apartment is rather dusty, I thought it was because we were supposed to wear shoes indoors, but I checked with the manager and that doesn't seem to be the case. The toilet flush is also very hit or miss and I did spend a few minutes tinkering with it to make sure it works...

Could use a few more amenities in the apartment. Not enough shampoo/soap, no face clothes or dish towels for the kitchen and it had the very basic for cooking utensils, etc. The Internet connection for tv movies kept dropping out.

• Peter (9/5): Recommended - Ideal position at start of the Grand Canal. Lively area without large crowds. The apartment had all required facilities. Be aware the beds are very soft, which some people like, but not us.
• Helen (8/5): Great location for sight sighting but not for a good sleep - Great location, 5 minutes walk from the bus station, 2 minutes walk from the Vaperetto stop. A Spar shop opposite the apartment for the essentials was very handy. Lot's of restaurants and bars in this neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious, and well presented and very clean. 5 single beds in total. The building is quite noisy with people coming and going, and people ringing the buzzer in error. The street is noisy when windows are open. Could have done with more lamps as was quite dark and don't always want the main light on. One toilet was sometimes challenging

• Imran (8/5): Very good - Great location to get around Venice. Around 5-10min walk with suitcases from the bus stop. Going over the bridge was tricky as there were a lot of steps. May be easier to get the water boat which drops you off nearer the property. Awesome pizza shop directly opposite the property. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there! All beds were single beds over 3 bedrooms so everyone had a bed each (family of 5). Very quiet in the property even though it was busy outside. Easy to get an awesome gondola ride near the Rialto Bridge for 90 Euro. They had an ice skating rink at the time which our daughters loved. Shopping in the narrow streets and San Marco square was fun! Property was fantastic however watch out for a man trying to help you carry suitcases over the bridge to the bus stop. We thought it was a friendly local helping out but he requested 30 Euro when we got over the bridge. We didn't pay and told him we didn't need any help in the first place and he walked off after realising he wasn't getting any money for us.

Highly Recommend. - The location was a 5 minute walk to the train station and the water taxi drop off dock; it was also on a busy street which was also a positive; there was a luggage storage facility a block away which was also very convenient since our train departed a few hours after our check out time. There was no carpet or rugs so sound travelled through the apartment, including neighbors opening and closing doors...not a big deal but louder than we are used to in the USA.

Only location good. - Location is good Property had number of issues (a) floors dirty, (b) beds provided were children size single beds not suitable at all for adults, (c) iron provided had exposed electrical wires, extremely dangerous, iron was badly stained it would have ruined any clothes we would have ironed, (d) Ironing board was totally unstable and the cover was filthy and loose, (e) only one liquid hand wash provided in the bathroom, no hand wash in the kitchen, (f) no kettle provided we had to heat water in the microwave oven, (g) the pots provide were dirty and worn out that you could not use them to even heat water to make tea or coffee, (g) no tea towel or hand towel to even wipe dishes in the kitchen, (h) no body wash or soap provided in the shower, (i) washing machine cupboard area filthy and washing machine rubber rim we had clean out fully before using (j) also water was leaking from pipe near the floor in the washing machine cupboard and (k) shower doors had missing rubber ream which meant water spilled outside so we had to use the floor mat to keep wiping the water from the floor.

Facilities were great and instructions were very comprehensive for access and basic needs. We had everything in the apartment that was necessary for our visit. There was one mosquito who joined us for the visit 🫣 😂 but we know that there are a lot in Venice anyway so it’s worth knowing to be prepared. The apartment had the mosquito plugs available.

If you don’t want to drag your luggage up and down bridges, or to take any water taxis or buses, this is a great location. Save your walking around Venice for just the sights and shopping. The bed is a bit soft. There is only one toilet.

• Ying (10/5): It was my second time staying in the landlord’s property. And it was perfect as the first time. I really appreciate it! - The property was very close to Santa Lucia station. It was on the busiest street but at night we still slept tight. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing was the not functioning lamp in the kitchen and the broken fixture(seat) of the toilet. But for the lamp, the staff came and fixed it right away! So there’s no problems. Everything was nice.

• James (9/5): After the terrible place we had in Florence, this was worlds better. - Location was very close to train station. Very easy to get to. Place was surprisingly spacious for Venice. Excellent windows to keep out almost all street noise at night. Home was well equipped and without previous renters leftovers in kitchen. No clutter! Entry hallway and stairway to unit are a bit depressing but make for such a nice surprise when you open door to apartment because it’s clean, tidy and well organized. Owners needs to keep up with maintenance in bathroom a bit better.

Dirt and scum on walls, mould in bathroom ceiling and shower doors. Dark inside. need lights on, which were noted by people monitoring our stay, and received text about turning them off. 🧐 Poorly equipped kitchen. Smelly Shocking beds with boards missing under mattress and lumpy mattress. Dismal, extremely noisy from 5am till 2am as main walkway to station. Close the shutters and windows, then you cant breathe.

The area is very vibrant with a lot of tourists, shops and restaurants nearby. The floor is a bit sticky and the bed is too soft. The rest of the things are fine. There is also no lift in the property because it’s an old building.
