• tim (9/5): - Communication with them was fantastic..cant fault it.. Quick..responsive and easy to deal with.. Location was superb.. Value for $$ was right in the pocket.. Its no biggly .. But there was a few mozzies about that kept us awake and bite us everywhere... Suggest to bring some fly spray or maybe the owners can have a few cans for guests about the property.

The host was really very helpful and informative. I recommend it to my friends if they plan to visit Venice. Darkness on stairs

• Veronica (9/5): The apartment is a little gem in the heart of Cannaregio - We liked the quiet / calm location which was a 20 minute or so stroll to St Mark’s Square. There is a well stocked supermarket nearby should you choose to cook and eat in. The apartment is light and airy and spotlessly clean. Can’t think of anything.

Un supermercato è a 5 minuti! Fuori dal centro, che dista circa 15 minuti di camminata, e dal caos dei turisti! Vale la pena! Mancava l'apribottiglie! : )

• T (10/5): - Lovely apartment with everything you need and a wonderful canal view. Spacious for our group of 5, with restaurants close by, a supermarket 7 minutes away, and shops 15 minutes’ walk. Easy airport access via Alilaguna Giulia stop. Frederico was friendly, helpful, and had great communication.

Only one floor to climb with the suitcases. 30min walking distance to the main sights and 5min to the vaporetto stop Guglie. • Marta (10/5): La Venècia autèntica! - L’allotjament estava molt net i tenia el que es necessita per passar una estada molt confortable. A més a més, estava molt ben situat, a una zona autèntica de Venècia i proper de bons bars i restaurants i d’un supermercat. Les habitacions eren espaioses i les zones comunes també. Hi vam anar una familia de 7 persones i no ens vam sentir agobiats ni res. El propietari ens va deixar entrar abans (mentre feien la neteja) per deixar les maletes ja que anavem amb un nen petit i vam també poder dinar a l’apartament. L’últim dia vam poder deixar les maletes ja que el nostre vol sortia a la tarda. També destacar que el ser una zona amb mosquits totes les habitacions tenien endolls amb líquid perquè no entressin. Si tornem a Venècia segur que repetiriem allotjament. Tot estava perfecte!

• Timothy (9/5): Summer in Venice - The owner was able to meet us at the train station and guide us to the property. While googlemaps had made the navigating of Venice easier, having a guide for the first time definitely helps. The property was spacious for the 4 of us, and the washer was needed during this summer's heat wave.. Some minor points to be aware of: - plan your walking - it will take around 30 minutes (plus some if you are prone to getting lost) to get to the San Marco area - the corridor from the front door to the main door can be dark at night until the motion sensor kicks in - have the light on your phone ready - if you intend to cook a lot - be aware that the kitchen has gas burners but no oven... not really a problem as we mainly used it for breakfast

• Olga (10/5): Overall extremely comfortable - we didn’t want to leave! - Beautifully decorated, very spacious apartment. There were 6 of us, and we felt very comfortable and not cramped. All beds and sofa bed were comfortable, we stayed in May so it wasn’t hot or cold. There were plenty of mirrors (important for a big group of girls!) and lighting was excellent. The host was extremely easy to deal with, very communicative, helpful and friendly. Met us at the apartment and explained everything, even included some recommendations about restaurants.

• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, not too close to the main area but close enough to walk, even with a 4 year old. The apartment was fantastic, clean, and big enough for the 5 of us. Bars, restaurants, and cafés nearby. Federico, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Venice. Nothing to not like!
• Sally (10/5): Excellent stay in Carnareggio, a lovely area of Venice. - The apartment was excellent. Spacious for a family of four. Comfortable beds. Good kitchen and bathroom, including a washing machine. The Carnareggio area the apartment is located in is my favourite as it is a very calm and residential area of Venice. Lots of restaurants a few minutes walk from the apartment. Supermarket close by too. Loved our stay!

• Mohammad (9/5): Wonderful stay - Host met us at the station (we came via coach but Fredricho directed us to come to train station in Venice which was helpful) greeted by host and taken to the property by him. It was very hot that day, with luggage and heat 15-20minutes walk felt like forever, Nice and spacious property, old built in a quite surrounding with good connection to water bus and surroundings. Nice interior of the house and nice homely feel to it. All the facilities were provided (except iron stand, even hammer and screw driver was there :) It was lovely to stay at the property and we truly enjoyed it. Thank you Fredricho All was good except that they can put an iron stand in it (missing)

We were so happy to be a quiet part of Venice because everywhere by the main tourist areas were so crowded it was overwhelming. There was coffee and a bialetti in the kitchen. Air conditioning and a wonderful view! Nothing it was amazing!

It was such a bonus seeing the sights early morning and late at night which we would have missed with a day trip. The apartment is very spacious and we were very comfortable here.

Not having stayed longer :((

• Rebecca (7/5): Beautiful apartment, helpful host. - Beautiful old apartment in a lovely quiet part of Venice, loads of restaurants and bars, short walk to nearest waterbus station, right near lovely Jewish quarter. Very helpful host who offered to meet us but as we weren't sure of arrival time he left the keys for us in a key safe. Lovely big comfy beds, good shower. Spacious. Plenty linen. Living room was really dark, didn't seem to have proper lights. There were a couple of bits of skirting/furniture loose with nails sticking out that my children discovered. A few issues arose but I think we were just unlucky - toilet broke and air conditioning was leaking. There is no tumble dryer so you need to hang your clothes on the line out the window or put the heating on to try and dry it. Discovered after loading the dishwasher there were no tablets which we ended up having to buy and leaving there. The front door is very difficult to open but it just has a knack to it, you have to force the key further round than you think.

He also gave us some lovely baked goods and prosecco when we arrived which was lovely. Facilities were great and it was a very comfortable Airbnb. Could use some proper bowls for cereal as we had cereal and found it hard to eat in the bowls provided but not a big issue
• Shauna (9/5): It was a magical time in Venice! - Our host greeted us at the train station and guided us to the apartment. He gifted us with delicious pastries from the local bakery. We were delighted with this treat, especially after a long train journey to Venice. Gianfranco was also readily available to answer any questions through WhatsApp during our stay. The apartment was roomy enough for our family of 5. We liked the separate dining area. We only stayed 2 nights, but it seemed well-stocked for longer stays. The view from the windows was wonderful. We loved staying in the Cannaregio neighborhood! The energy was great and there were many eateries nearby. The furnishings seem a bit outdated, but that is to be expected in such a historic area. The sofa bed was not as comfortable as the real beds.

Felt good to be away from the main tourist areas and felt like an authentic neighbourhood Easy walk to water taxi on grand canal (aprox 7 mins). We stayed 3 nights and ate at 3 different restaurants on same street and enjoyed all. Apartment has a gorgeous and interesting view of canal. Quiet day and night. Very clean and well equipped. Appreciated bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Thoughtful extras such as umbrellas, a shoe horn, selection of laundry detergents including stain remover. Dish washer and washing machine newish and easy to operate. Beds comfortable with new pillows and nice quality linen. Lounge area is rather dark and sofa uncomfortable. We sat in dining room, it also has comfortable chair in main bedroom with a view of canal.

Our host was great, met us at the train station to walk to the apartment (10 mins or so). Communication was great the whole time and he was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Bonus - there was a washing machine! Not really a issue, but the decor was a bit dated. Doesn’t really matter though when it’s clean and comfortable.
• Manuel (10/5): Historic building right in Venice but away from the tourist crowds looking over the canal. - Feels like a palazzo inside. Quick to get to Vaporettos and main walking routes. Great view over the canal. It's minimal, but for a travelling family, it would be useful to have a plastic sheet over the beautiful dining table ;-)
• Stephen (10/5): spacious and comfortable apartment in lovely Canareggio - In a very quiet location off the beaten track in Canareggio, this spacious apartment is well appointed. We were met at the train station by the host, who also pointed out local supermarkets and restaurants. Kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook, or just make breakfast. At night it is so quiet, few foot pedestrians and rare boats passing by along the canal outside Not an issue for us, but it is quite a long way from a vaporetto stop if travelling with bulky luggage. Also about 30 mins walk to St Mark's square for example, But walking away from the main drag is such a delight!

• Manas (7/5): Nice stay in Venice - The property was clean and located within walking distance of the Santa Lucia railway station.However, we need to cross 3 bridges to reach the property which is little difficult for people with limited mobility and family with strollers. Federico is very nice and quick to respond to our all queries. We went on August, so it was very hot but the apartment had Air Conditioner. I went there with family, so going to different touristic places and crossing bridges was difficult and that too in the month of August when it was scorching hot.

• L_shouks (10/5): 4 Fantastic days in Venice - The location was great, only a relatively short walk from the station, made even easier by Federico, one of our hosts, meeting us to show us the way. For us, the apartment was in the perfect area of Venice; nice and quiet but just 2 or 3 minutes walk from a number of small cafés/bar/restaurants and 20(ish) mins walk to the busier areas of Venice. The apartment itself is spacious and well appointed, with everything we needed during our stay. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more special by providing local insight. They were very responsive to questions during our stay which made life very easy. Overall, a great experience and we would certainly stay again if/when returning to Venice.

• Hermine (10/5): Overall, it was a great stay and definitely worth the money. - The property was well-maintained and clean. We received a nice welcome with champagne and cookies. There was a good assortment of teas and coffee available. Gianfranco(the owner) was very helpful and responsive. He helped us with water taxi and provided assistance whenever we needed it. We arrived at night and found that there was no soap or bath wash in the bathroom. This was a minor inconvenience, but it was the only complaint we had. Other than that, everything was great.

• Sebastian (7/5): Nice apartment but we had one major issue... - Great location, apartment very spacious, new bathroom, washing machine a bonus. The apartment could be cleaner, especially the kitchen and a lot of dust around the bed/mattress area: nothing major but... (We hoovered ourselves!) The owner has very little English, so it is not easy to communicate. Also, the owner got himself into the apartment one of the days without notifying us as there was apparently some light issue; he left the door to the apartment not locked and open. We contacted the owner on our return to the apartment, but due to the language barrier, it wasn't really possible to have a proper conversation about issues we had with him entering the apartment without letting us know and leaving main door open! Overall score for the property is mainly impacted by the owner not informing us he would be visiting the apartment and also him leaving the door open and not locked!
