• Wycisk Christian (10/5): - Da wir, auf Grund ungünstiger Flugzeiten, einen Tag vorher angereist waren und eine zusätzliche Übernachtung auf Lido hatten, waren wir schon, nach Absprache, gegen 10:30 Uhr an der Wohnung. Es war ein freundlicher Empfang. Die Wohnung wurde gerade gereinigt und man nahm sich die Zeit uns alles zu erklären. Wir konnten dann die Koffer in der Wohnung lassen und uns, ohne Koffer, einen ersten Eindruck von Venedig machen und erstmal einkaufen. Die Wohnung ist super zentral im Stadtteil Cannaregio gelegen und sehr schön. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Nachteil: 3. Etage, Vorteil: Aussicht vom Balkon über die Dächer von Venedig mit schönem Sonnenuntergang. Die Wasserbushaltestelle Campo San Marcuola ist vielleicht 300 m, bzw. 2 Minuten entfernt. Zwei Supermärkte sind ebenfalls in 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Darunter auch das ehemalige Teatro Italia. Schon am gleichen Abend hatten wir auch schon unseren Lieblingsitaliener gefunden (Bistro Al Balcon), auf der Fondamenta Cannaregio, 1018/A. Tische direkt am Canal Cannaregio. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, durchschnittliche Preise und sehr leckere kleine Gerichte. Alles in allem kommen wir gerne wieder.

• Molly (8/5): - Lovely location off of the main street, nice and quiet. The area is not as packed as the main tourist areas and has a lot of great food options. Host met us at the apartment and was very nice and gave us lots of information about the area. a lot of stairs to get to the top floor where the apartment is located, but this is expected given it is a historic city. Bed slightly uncomfortable by morning. Could use a little dusting and walls to be cleaned but otherwise everything was great.
• Victoria (6/5): Great location and friendly and helpful staff. - The gentlemen that meet us with the keys was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment is in an excellent location. Near the train station so is walkable. Supermarket near by and boat taxi. Plenty of room in the apartment. Sad to say it was a little tired and felt to need a deeper clean. Found hairs in the shower which was a bit off putting.

• Sylviane (8/5): Havre de tranquilité à deux pas du Grand Canal. - Appartement très lumineux à deux pas du Grand Canal dans zone très calme. Refait à neuf avec éléments anciens bien mis en valeur. Vues sur toits, jardin et église très agréables, immeuble très calme. Les 5 étages à pieds ne nous ont pas dérangés (idem à Paris !) mais peuvent être un frein pour personnes plus âgées.

• Mariia (1/5): НІКОЛИ НЕ ОРЕНДУЙТЕ ТУТ - На перший погляд здалося, що квартира хороша. Вже на 5й хвилині, поки представниця орендної компанії Джорджія показувала приміщення, я бачу двері спальні лежать окремо. Вона побачила нашу реакцію, щось там спробувала покрутити і махнула рукою. Двері так і залишилися неробочими. Коли вона вийшла, ми пішли дивитися ліжка. На фото Букінг і в описі на момент бронювання, в другій спальні вверху було ліжко, а знизу - диван. Але, по факту те ліжко зламане і на ньому був неприємний безлад. Ми набрали Джоджию і вона сказала, що ліжко небезпечне і користуватися ним не можна. Через що ми не могли розміститися як планували і подругам довелося спати разом. Також, квартира трохи побита і конкретно брудна. Розбитий піддон в ванній, поцарапані стіни і меблі. Обіцяний балкон розтрощений ремонтом в сусідній квартирі. Меблі тераси жовті, на кухні контейнери для їжі вонючі, в ванній чуже волосся, забитий злив води і цвіль з брудом по кутках кімнати. Вхідні двері в будинок майже неможливо відкрити ключем, його заїдало. В нас було 2 ночі і ми вирішили не сваритися, а просто описати потім все в відгуку. АЛЕ, на другу ніч я прокинулася від стуків подруги в мою спальню (без обіцяного ліжка, спала на тому дивані). Вона була в паніці, в її спальні зі стелі почала текти гаряча водна на обличчя. Виявилося, що лопнув водонагрівач (до того ж схоже газовий!). Якимось чином він був розміщений в спальні, далеко від кухні і ванної кімнати. Ми почали збирати воду, дзвонити Джорджиї і шукати як перекрити електропостачання і водопостачання в квартиру. Кранів перекриття води ніде не було, на щитку електрики все підписано італійською, а Джорджія не відповідала на наші дзвінки. Ми дзвонили більше 20 разів на Ватсап і звичайний телефон та залишили купу повідомлень. За допомогою перекладача, знайшли як відключити подачу електрики, але для води ніде не було . Вода продовжувала лити під напором і подруга бігала з мисками з надії не затопити сусідів. Джорджія і далі не відповідала. Моя подруга побачила драбину драбину в сусідній квартирі з розваленого балкону і поповзла за нею. Ідея була скажена, але ми не знали що ще робити. Нажаль, залізши наверх, перекрити сам водонагрівач виявилося неможливим і ми помітили жовтий кран (що зазвичай означає подачу газу) і трубу на вулицю. Виходить, що в спальні стояв небезпечний газовий котел без жодного датчику газу. Добре, що прорвало воду, а не ми померли від витоку газу. Зрозумівши, що перекрити воду неможливо ми вирішили подзвонити в службу порятунку, але пояснити нормально що сталося і правильну адресу виявилося складно, тому дзвінок довелося завершити і шукати сусідів. Сусіди знизу спали і не чули, коли ми дзвонили в двері. Ми втрачали надію і тут прибігла сусідка поверхом нижче - Ванесса. Вона була в паніці, в неї текла вода по стінам і розеткам. Вона сказала набирати орендодавця, ми показали всі наші дзвінки і повідомлення без відповіді. Вона теж працює в туризмі і була в шоці, що нас так кинули самих. Виявилося, що перекрити подачу в квартиру води окремо - неможливо. Ванесса викликала пожежників і ще раз набирала із свого телефону Джорджию, але та не відповідала. Ми все ще намагалися черпати і витирати воду, але всі рушники були занадто мокрі, а пральна машинка не працювала і віджати вже не могли руками. Приїхали пожежники і перекрили воду всьому будинку, на котлі / водонагрівачі вони це теж зробити не змогли, як і ми. Виявилося, що лопнула якась помпа із сіллю для фільтрації, яка знаходилася до крану перекриття води взагалі. Сусідка Ванесса все пояснила пожежникам, ми трохи поговорили англійською, вони взяли мої паспортні дані для свого звіту. В результаті, ми не спали всю ніч, перенервували, не змогли поїсти і помитися після всього, звичайно не пішли зранку в музей і ледь живі поїхали 650 км до Риму машиною. Такої безвідповідальності і халатності я ще не зустрічала. Найбільше шкода сусідів, яких затопило. Сподіваюся їм компенсують збитки ці горе орендодавці.
• Kirsty (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Good communication from the host to arrange check in. The grout in the bathroom needs a good clean. The pillows in the second bedroom were very lumpy. The beds weren't the best, I think they were sofa beds rather than standard beds.
• Friendly (10/5): Marvelous Venice Experience - Beautiful and comfortable apartment with all the conveniences needed. Everything was clean and in perfect condition, the host was amazing, very friendly and organized. Check in and out was extremely convenient and we appreciated all the help and recommendations for our vacation. The location is very convenient, walking distance from the train and a very quiet neighborhood. Thank you for the marvelous vacation!
• Anthony (9/5): Superb - Great apartment in a great location, it has everything you need. The host was great with communication and dealing with requests. The apartment is on a higher floor and there's no elevator, so just be wary of that if you're not good with stairs.

• Elena (9/5): Charming luminous apartment with balcony in the very center of Venice - Wonderful very luminous apartment in the very center of Venice, close to the vaporetto station, and walking distance from the grocery store. The apartment has a balcony with amazing view over the city roofs. The apartment is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave. There are air cons in every room. Great place for two couples or the family with kids, as there are two bedrooms. The host was very helpful and charming. Everything was great just some nuances :) The water pressure in the shower was not very strong, possibly because of the high floor. But the view totally pays for it. It should be noted that there is no lift in the building, so it may be hard for some people to use the charming steep historical staircase to the top floor. And there is no TV in the apartment, so enjoy your digital detox, or take your tablets with you!

The check in process was easy and I like that someone met us there to show us how to get in (there was 3 keys/doors to get through). Lots of bugs and mosquitoes in the room. It was dusty in some places and could do with a refresh over all.

Like so many have said there are stairs, most places will have stairs. Communication with the owner was very good. Adjusted our check in time due to a flight delay was not an issue. She was very helpful and had some good advice. We only had 3 days 😟
• Karl (7/5): Well located, spacious and clean. - Great location to the grand canal and restaurants/shops, light and modern. Everything you need for a short stay. Although modern and clean a little tired in places and slightly odd smell when you first walked in. Found the pillows on the sofa bed to be uncomfortable, buts that’s more a personal thing.
• Jane (8/5): Lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood of Venice - Lovely character apartment which was well appointed. Nice view and good air con. The beds were a little too firm. One of the radiators had been left on so it took us a while to work out why the living room was not cooling down!
• Georgina (8/5): Very good - Spacious apartment with a balcony. Really nice location. Safe apartment block. Good air conditioning although noisy. Helpful recommendations given by the host. Wasn’t an issue for us but lots of steps to get to the apartment. The keys are very temperamental to open the 3 doors to get up to the apartment. The room does have a smell to it, think it’s the drainage. The fridge doesn’t work unless the exterior cupboard on the fridge is left open. Check out was 10am and the cleaner rudely just opened the door at 09:45, the host asked us to leave before the check out time- luckily we were ready with shoes on to leave already

Close to many great restaurants.Very good size and had all you need to multi day stay Needs a refresh but was clean. Needs more pillows. May have had some but we didn’t ask so..

• Samantha (10/5): Great family apartment, with outdoor space, and good location. - Lovely outdoor space, close to water stops, restaurants, air con, kitchen facilities, clean, host very communicative and helpful, great location. Nothing really apart from the stairs at the end of a long day ! However not really an issue, unless you have mobility problems. Kept us fit!

• Quirk (9/5): We had a wonderful stay in Venice! - We enjoyed the layout of the apartment, which was perfect for our small group. We loved having a washing machine as well. The location was great. Since it was the top floor of the building it had a nice view of the city. It was a short walk from the train station and there were many restaurants and shops nearby. It wasn't a long walk to the popular destinations, and we appreciated that it was in a quieter part of the city. We don't have any negatives to share!

• Carley (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment that had everything we needed. Well-equipped kitchen, apartment is just as the photos show really. As others have noted, the stairs are killer - but not unexpected. Vapporetto stop just metres away is super handy. Could have done with more pillows on the bed, maybe. But hardly a big deal. The mosquitos will get you if you leave windows open - so consider spray or a plug-in device.

The bathroom has a good shower and the air conditioning was a great asset in the heat. The balcony gave great views over the city roofs and an outside space. Giorgia our host was attentive to any questions or issues too 👍 We were very happy with our three night stay ….the apartment is in the top floor (3rd floor) with no lift so anyone with lots of luggage or mobility issues may find it challenging…. However after walking +20k steps every day we got fitter and the stairs weren’t a problem 😀

It would have been excellent to know the number of steps involved especially for check in. I believe most people are aware that properties in Venice may not have stairs but confirmation would support to be prepared.

• Kelly (9/5): Lovely apartment from which to explore Venice - This is a lovely place to stay in a great location. we loved being so close to all of the bars and restaurants, but far enough away from the crazy busy main sights of Venice. Very comfortable bed and lots of space, we particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony of an evening watching the sunset! There wasn’t much to not like however there was no cork screw provided (annoying when you settle in for a nice glass of wine) A plug in mosquito repellant may be good to provide too as on our first night there were a lot of mosquitos in the apartment.
• Kevin (8/5): Nice first anniversary trip - The property was nice and pretty much what we expected. The location was good as it was a little bit out of the main hustle and bustle, which meant it wasn't noisy. It was also right next to a water bus stop, which was handy. The host was really helpful and was in contact in the days prior to our arrival to check what time we were going to arrive, so she could make sure someone was there to meet us. We were greeted by the housekeeper who was there cleaning the property and she gave us keys and let us drop our cases. The weather was lovely for most of the weekend, which meant we could sit on the little balcony. The bed was a good size and comfy and the kitchen had a hob and microwave (no oven). The host was easily contactable if needed and we could leave our cases when we checked out in the morning and came back to collect them when we left and dropped the keys off, which was convenient. The apartment is at the top of the block and there is no lift. There are 67 steps. We are a fit couple who run so it wasn't too much of an issue for us, although after a day of walking, it was tough on the legs. Not suitable for older people or people with disabilities, as there is no lift. I couldn't seem to connect to the internet (the hub wasn't displayed when searching), but this wasn't really an issue, as we can use our data. Couldn't get anything on the telly either, but again not really an issue as we weren't fussed to watch TV. Otherwise, all good.

• Sally (9/5): Brilliant Location, great tips and advice for our visit provided by the property owners - The apartment was brilliantly located - in a quiet area but minutes away from all the famous spots in Venice. 15 minute walk to Rialto bridge. 20 minute walk to St Mark's square. Everything was fab - the only suggested improvement i would make is that as we used the second bedroom (which contained the sofa bed) there was no comfy seating (unless we made the bed back into a sofa each evening. Not an issue really as we were out and about in Venice most of the time.
