• Ramanujan (10/5): Great option in Venice which gives you the experience of a resident citizen of Venice! - Of the three similar apartments booked (Rome, Venice and Milan), the experience was the best at Venice. Quite close to the Railway Station (just need a cart porter to help you bring the luggage, for a short kilometer of nice walk). Access to two water-bus stations on both main canals. Nice groceries market nearby. Very helpful hostess who set us up nicely on the first day. All great.. Just a small irritant was ants looking for food scraps in the kitchen garbage area.. May need some simple treatment to avert them.

Facilities were excellent. Lovely garden with ample space to hang washing. We could see that the owner takes great care to present the apartment for the enjoyment of her guests.

• M (9/5): Venice was magical and the place just contributed to it - Kitchen equipment: in addition to coffee maker and other utensils the host provided ample supplies of coffee, tea and even some alcoholic beverages. The place is very clean, well heated and lit and easy to reach from the bus station. The mattress in the main bedroom is very soft, while mattresses on the smaller beds are quite hard - might be good for some people, others might prefer it otherwise.
• Carter (9/5): Very clean. Friendly, helpful owner. - Very clean. The owner is exceptionally friendly and will meet you there to show you around. The pictures listed are accurate. Comfortable beds. First floor apartment, so no stairs to climb. It is about a 10 minute walk from Piazzala Roma. This is not located in a main tourist area, but is only a 15 to 30 minute walk to all the main tourist sights. Water taxis are close by if you prefer that over walking. A small grocery store that is reasonably priced is a 2 minute walk. Google Maps can give you a tour of the neighborhood it is in. Would definitely stay here again.

• Charles (10/5): A great place to stay after a long overseas flight. - Close to bus station. Laura is a fantastic host. Bed was best ever. Everything worked. Very welcoming. Not much, really.

Nice quiet location in evenings and only a 10 minute walk to nearest boat or 15 mins to main train station. It was all wonderful.

Eclectic decorations and a beautiful garden and it is right on a canal in a great neighborhood close to everything. The beds were comfortable and the host very accommodating with early luggage drop off so we could explore Venice. We also appreciated the air conditioning and all the little extras like kitchen supplies and umbrellas. Getting around Venice with luggage is difficult due to stairs/bridges but that is the same with all properties so just pack light.

• Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - First of all, the location is really close to the train station which helped us a lot, as we only stayed 3 days. Also it was close to one of the water bus stops. Communication with the host was excelent and she responded to all our questions. The place was extremely clean and well designed, it introduced us since the beginning to the beautiful atmosphere of Venice (a + the view to the canal). Really close to a supermarket with cheap prices. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. We were sorry we could not stay more but will definitely return in the future. • Mark (10/5): Beautiful sanctuary in Venice - Beautifully decorated apartment opposite a small quiet canal in a strategic and non-touristy part of Venice. It’s very close to the bus port and not far from the train station. Laura is a gracious and kind host and provided everything we needed and excellent instructions. It was like a sanctuary coming back to the apartment after the bustle of Venice each day, where we could unwind in peace. It has a small but useful kitchen, air conditioning, washing machine and everything you need including generous toiletries in the bathroom. Grazie mille Laura!

Beautiful house that is safe and well equipped, super clean apartment, cozy, well decorated and very comfortable. Our host was very nice and very kind. It was as if we were coming home every evening.

Also, this place us extremely convenient to people taking a ferry into the Port or walkable to Piazzale Roma which we needed to catch an early flight. It is a very quiet corner as well.

L’aura is very kind and offered to store our bags while we explored Venezia; unfortunately we had to catch a train. Would stay here again! Nothing!
• Fiona (10/5): Value for money with an authentic feeling Venetian stay - Laura was a wonderful host who graciously showed us around the property which has lots of cute touches of Venice. There are also lovely amenities provided (thank you for the much needed coffee, quick lesson in Italian and taste of limoncello!). The neighbourhood is peaceful yet an easy walk to most places. The upstairs neighbours seemed to enjoy dragging tables or chairs around which you could hear loudly, but the noise finished by 11.
• Graeme (10/5): A large, comfortable, beautiful unit to use as a base for exploring Venice. - A beautiful unit in Venice. The owner was very helpful and caring. She even arranged for a doctor to visit the unit for my sick wife and then gave instructions for the closest pharmacy to obtain antibiotics. The unit was large, well decorated and very comfortable. The owner recommended a nearby restaurant which turned out to be a lovely meal. There is a large supermarket about 80M away. The train station is an easy 10-15 minute walk away. It is well situated to explore all of Venice. Nothing to dislike.

• Davin (8/5): Good choice for family stay with 2 kids - We enjoyed the quiet location, not far from the train station. It had everything we needed for three nights. The main bed was particularly spacious. The host was lovely. The kitchen, while it was clean and had everything we needed, could have used some pot/pan/utensil upgrades and improved organization. It was fine.
• Bain (10/5): Perfect and highly recommended. - Beautiful home that is well equipped and is walkable to Venice train station ( 600 m away) and airport shuttle. It is also in front of a canal and close to cafe and restaurants nearby. Super clean apartment and a very lovely host.

• Irina (10/5): It was very comfortable staying in Venice, everything was perfect! - Location of appartments is perfect, it is only 10 minutes from Central Station, 30 meters from supermarket, where you can buy everything for breakfast or go to nearest cafe with fresh croassants, tapas and coffee. Appartments are very cozy and clean. There are nice design, all furniture and different interior items in vintage Venician style like in museum 😍. Very friendly and nice owness Laura gave a valuable advices about dinner, transport and other information.

In reality, it is more nice that you can see in the pictures. The location is perfect: 10 walk min to bus station and 20 walk min till city center, piazza San Marco. Doge Palace!

There is everything you need in this apartment, all you need is in the kitchen and in the bathroom, it saves a lot of space in the suitcase. The bed is very comfortable! Aircon and quiet location made me sleep like a baby :) It was so comfortable that I did not want to leave and go out, I wanted just to stay inside! Laura, we will be back for sure!
