- Bene (10/5): - Siamo stati una sola notte per visitare la Biennale, ma saremmo rimasti volentieri qualche giorno in più. La struttura è perfetta per gruppi numerosi, la casa è molto curata, spaziosa e la posizione è davvero comoda per raggiungere varie attrazioni. Lo staff è stato molto cortese e disponibile. Prezzo davvero conveniente per Venezia!

The house itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and full of character—perfectly nestled within the charm of Venice. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from helping us book a water taxi to assisting with communication regarding our delayed baggage at the airport. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is located "off the beaten track"/slightly away from the hustle/bustle of the main tourist areas/people (and their noise) yet close enough so that you can see ALL of the attractions of Venice without any fuss or too much walking (remembering that no matter Venice is a walking vacation). The apartment enjoys a quiet/peaceful location - yet within 2-3 mins you are into the tourist areas - GREAT! Everything that you could possibly need is provided :-) The cleanliness of the apartment was first rate We have nothing but compliments for this apartment (and obviously the most helpful owner - thank you) If the reader is looking for an apartment in Venice to accommodate a family or a small group of friends then you could not go wrong with the Home of the Ship Builder :-) Nothing - all was EXCEPTIONAL

- Nicholas (9/5): A special apartment that is a little oasis amongst the Summer Venetian madness. - The apartment was rebuilt by the friendly owner who is an architect and interior designer. It is well designed over 3 levels, generally well appointed, clean and comfortable. Whist the apartment is located slightly away from the central tourist areas of Venice, it suited us to be in a quieter area at peak season, away from the main areas of tourist crush. Given the attention to detail, were a little surprised there was no iron, clothes horse or washing machine.

- Eddy (10/5): JUST FUN AT THIS LOCATION. - NO BREAKFASTS PROPERTY HAD KITCHEN, FRIDGE,FREEZER. ALL KITCHEN UNTENCILS . AIR CON. AND RESTERANTS NEAR AND PLACES TO BY FRESH FOODS. LOCATION WAS SLIGHTLY OUT THE WAY BUT WAS MUCH MORE FUN SO WE EXPLORED VENICE MORE. 10 MIN.WALK TO CENTRE AS LONG AS U HAVE GPS AND AFTER A FEW DAYS WAS SO EASY. GOING AWAY FROM THE CENTRE WAS FAB. NOTHING.... EVERYTHING WAS JUST GREAT..... BUT MORE TOWELS PLEASE. NO WASHING MACHINE SO WE HAND WASHED EVERY DAY... WAS EASY... BUT WE NEEDED MORE CLOTHES PEGS. LOVED THE STAIRS AND THE LIGHTS. AND THE VERY GOOD AIR CON.

- Martha (10/5): Great location and place. - Very clean. Great location- easy access to San Marco Square, but not too close. So in a nice quiet location. Very nice host and responsive to arrival request. I would highly recommend this place. We liked having two separate bedrooms & bathrooms. Great for families. (Maybe not toddlers with the stairs). Nothing. We have absolutely no complaints!
- Roger (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent....near enough to all the sights but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. About 8 mins gentle walk to St Mark's Square. Very well equipped and comfortable apartment, Giacomo is a very obliging and helpful host....we asked if we could borrow an iron and board ,the next morning he left brand new items for us while we were out!! Only one small concern....the stairs in the property are quite steep with an unusual bannister arrangement. Not a problem if you are fit and able bodied but could be an issue in some cases otherwise.

Giancomo met us off the boat to guide us to the apartment which was very nice of him. The apartment was spacious and spotless. No comments to make

Host was helpful and accommodating Having the bathrooms and main bedrooms up the stairs was a tough for older family and concern for kids who wake up in the middle of the night. - Susan (8/5): Lovely house, perfect for short stays. - Location was good for bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as for walking to the main tourist highlights. It was a quiet place at night, no noisy parties in the area. The house is completely renovated, light, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed plus some. The host Giacomo was very helpful and the check-in went smoothly. The house is perfect for four people or two couples. Check with the owner Giacomo if there is construction work being carried out in the adjoining house. The drilling and hammering next door meant that we couldn't stay in the house during working hours. The lovely designer staircases are a bit difficult for the elderly who might not be so mobile, also not suitable for small children.

- Matthew (9/5): Brilliant holiday. - Self catering but there was coffee/tea available. Location was great 10/12 mins walk to St Marks and only 5 / 10 mins to the nearest hub for water bus / water taxi. Nothing of any consequence.

It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, with nearby restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, and yet it is just a 10 minutes (at most) walk to St. Marcus square. The Host, Giacomo, was very nice and helpful. It was a wonderful experience that made our stay in Venice unforgettable. There was no negative aspect!
