• Marcia (6/5): Eh it was alright. Not bad, not great. - Location was cool but a little misleading - you have to walk a few blocks to public beach access. The AC worked great, the room had everything we needed in the kitchen and even had coffee, body wash, hand soap already. It’s not a luxury resort but does give you a more affordable rate with more independence to make your own food. It also had a large bottle of water to use for cooking and drinking which was nice, Checkin, communication and payment was sketchy and I think we ended up paying more than what we were quoted on Priceline, and I’m not sure how we got bumped over to booking.com when we originally booked on Priceline. When we arrived it was near impossible to find the place and the guy couldn’t tell us where it was. The whole things just felt a little off
• Andris (8/5): Good location for reasonable price. - Good location near the public access to Playa Ballenas. Next to little grocery store. R-1 and R-2 busses within the walking distance. Access to the swimming pool with the garden and iguanas. Quite area close to Kempinski hotel. Reasonable price for overpriced Cancun Zona Hotelera. Drinking water and basic amenities available, including good wifi conection and multiple TV chanels. Check in information provided only upon the payment of the security deposit by PayPal. Could be challenging when not using PayPal regulary and having Mexican Sim card. Swimming pool area needs refurbishing
• Wblakejohnson (1/5): COCKROACHES AND DISHONEST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - This property was terrible. Nothing to like about the experience. We entered and within 5 minutes saw a giant cockroach in the bedroom (see photos attached). It shimmied its way up the wall to the left of the bed and crawled into a large hole in the concrete where the AC unit drain pipe went. We immediately contacted the property l, shared photos of the cockroach, and asked for a solution, and the property manager replied that we should look for a can of Raid in the kitchen (there was none) and they'd spray and cover the hole tomorrow. That was not a reasonable solution for us, as the cockroach was huge and had nowhere to go but back out into the bedroom so we politely asked for a refund and informed the property we had found and booked other accommodations. We left and sent photos of checking out. We were out of the property within an hour. Sometime later, after we had already paid for and checked into a new property, the owner messages and says he has a new unit for us to stay in. Had they offered this FIRST instead of telling us to deal with it until tomorrow, we might have taken them up on this offer. However, we had already paid for new lodging and moved by this point. I told them the situation and that we would need a refund and they said "we tried our best." The refund never came, so I initiated a complaint through Booking.com. Booking.com reached out to the property, and the property made the audacious claim that my partner and I had lied about the cockroach because we weren't happy that the property was not ocean front. This was an ABSOLUTE LIE. because we knew when we booked this property that it was across the street from the beach. That did not matter at all to us. I have now escalated this numerous times to Booking.com but this dishonest property owner still refuses to issue a refund. DO NOT BOOK HERE under any circumstance unless you enjoy having cockroaches for roommates and don't mind paying your money to dishonest people.

• Will (6/5): Pleasant - Location near event. Drinking water in room. Very difficult communication, difficult to find, difficult to get access, pool access awkward, with only access from street, shower hopeless (blocked nozzle), air con in bedroom not working, bond not refunded after 1 month but eventually worked out. Communication needs to be a lot better.
