It’s possible to park your motorcycle in front of the door. Unfortunately it’s not possible to take a hot shower there.
And you’ll need patience to order food from Grab.
6 out of 7 driver couldn’t find the location :/

- Robin (8/5): - Großes Bett, gute Klima, sauberes Bad, netter kleiner Balkon

- kalina (10/5): Wszystko ok. - Wszystko było ok. Czysto, dobra lokalizacja, blisko do sklepów i na targ z pysznym jedzeniem. Polecam miejscówkę 😊 Wszystko mi się podobało 👍
- Matthew (9/5): - The host was especially kind and responsive to messages. The location was a bit of a challenge to find at first, as well as travelling to and from there.
- Rybińska (10/5): - the room (4th floor) had AC which was really life saving :)) we were provided everything we might have needed- towels, soap, shampoo, wifi, cutlery, even the straws! the room was really clean, had a sofa, balcony, coffee table etc and the host was really nice. would definitely stay here again
- Puspa (10/5): It was our first time in bangkok and our stay was exceptional as the owner himself was very helpful . I would suggest an - The property was all managed with needed extra stuff and i was well managed in terms of hygiene and temperature too.
- Martin (10/5): great host and room in the Old City - Mr. Nipon is helpful, responsive with good English
room has with good tables, drawers, chairs, speakers, etc...
borrow a bike to visit markets, explore the Old City for food and shopping be careful with GPS location when you order food or taxi
- Vendula (9/5): Soul of Bangkok - This property has soul. It is different than average hotel. I loved the neighborhood, very local and welcoming. The host was extremely kind. It is a bit old but that’s the vibe.
- Nadine (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay here. Would highly recommend! - very nice, quiet and clean location. Host super friendly.
- Y (10/5): Fantastic stay, very good host - Very good host
- Lindsey (7/5): Good - Lovely meet with owner who waited for us to arrive after flight, close to local restaurants and 7 eleven. Comfy and homely room and good value for money. A little too far from Grand Palace and Khao San if on a quick trip otherwise it was good. A sign outside to identify NBH would be helpful as taxi drivers couldn't find accommodation despite being in the right area and road.
Cold shower
- Binz (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful appartment with comfortable furniture. Good value deal. Nice people. Great place
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - It's a nice and quiet Homestay located in a non touristy area. Perfect place to work from with great wifi and minimal distractions.
- Sirejoe (5/5): Good host, decent stay but no hot water. - The host was great, he was very accommodating. The room was fine, it had all amenities that you would need EXCEPT hot water (more below). There was Wi-Fi, a bed, desk, washroom. Basically everything you would need for a short stay. I had no idea it didn't have hot water and that is kind of a deal breaker for me. It was also quite difficult to find. It just looks like an apartment building. Its tucked away around a corner and there is no sign outside to indicate that you are at the right place. Other than those two things, it was a decent stay.
- Muhammed (8/5): Very good - The owner is an amazing person. The price is cheap and the neighborhood shows the real local experience I was scared at first because it is really local neighborhood and a few people able to speak English.
I had to mention that nothing scary happened.
Also, this place is a little bit far away
- Kuzovlev (8/5): Very good -
- Tommy (9/5): Nice room in a local hood. -
- Elinor (8/5): Very good -
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chen (9/5): overall, if you are not taking a lot of luggage, it is a great and chill place - it was easy to find on google map, so it is easy to locate if you are taking a taxi. you have to walk about 5 mins to get into the hotel, and there aren't always people there. it is a private building and there is no lift.
- Julia (8/5): Tranquility and comfort - The apartment is very cozy and comfortable, with plenty of space, including a wardrobe, sofa, armchair, fridge, and other furniture. It also has dishes, cups, and cutlery. The bed is soft and very comfortable, and there are various lamps to light the space. The bathroom is large and well-lit. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful; we chose this apartment for its value for money and for seeking tranquility and comfort. There are some shops, a 7-Eleven, and restaurants nearby. It is a bit difficult to find the location because it is secured with a gate. A neighbor helped us by shouting to alert someone to let us in. We were met by the mother of the person managing the bookings, who gave us the keys and indicated the third floor with a hand gesture. We went up there, but it was not the correct floor; our reservation was for the second floor. We spent some time trying to open another apartment until a young man came out and told us that it was the second time this had happened.
The sofa has cat pee stains and smells a lot.
The apartment has a small terrace and a bit dirty. We did not use it.
It's far from the city center, not close to the metro, and there is no good bus connection.
- Mohan (9/5): Superb -
- Ondrej (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (10/5): Great spacious apartment and amazing host. I will definitely visit this place - The owner was very friendly and helpful. The day I was checking out it was raining heavily so he allowed me to stay in the room for a few hours extra without any extra charge. Its a lovely apartment and not a hotel. So cant expect cleanliness like a hotel. But it was clean enough
- Aleksei (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place! This is not the first time I have stopped here. The owners are very kind and polite people. In essence, this is a home hotel, and you feel in the comfort and coziness of home. The rooms are large and have everything you need for a long stay. private bathroom and balcony. There is a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, dishes and other items for a comfortable stay. The area is also very convenient, not too far from the noisy center, but there is a metro nearby. 7-eleven is one minute away. There are also many local merchants, street food and necessary little things. local people are very friendly. There is a Buddhist temple around the corner. there is a calm atmosphere around. you feel safe in this hotel and want to come back here again and again!
- Arsolon (9/5): The owner is very hospitable and accomodating. He accepted our request of early check-in and late checkout. - Theres a lot of food shop around the area.
- Rüdiger (9/5): Highly recommend! - Very friendly staff, really nice neighborhood, close enough to the city center (you will not have trouble getting there by cab after midnight), laundry service was awesome - left a bag and got everything nicely folded back the next day for just 100THB. Big but also very cozy and really nice appartment, there is a 7/11 only two minutes away if you need anything - can only recommend to stay there. Wifi signal was a bit weak on the top floor but everything works without issues. There is no elevator if that is a problem but the owner will always help you with anything.
- Oleg (9/5): Super local vibe! If you are not scare to use public transport, thr rest is super! Spacious place for relax after the lo -
- Arseny (9/5): Superb - Great value, location is not in the main city centre, but it is very fast to get there on a public transport. Metro is in 5 min walk. Hotel is located on a quiet street, it is very peaceful to sleep there. The owner is very nice too. Aircon could be colder, but the included in the room fan fixed the sutiation.
- Nadia (7/5): Good - Called him and he was quick to respond and helpful. Quite a simple airbnb, but honestly it had all we needed.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Staying at Pym's place was an absolute delight! Not only is he incredibly kind and always ready to offer helpful advice, but the location in the friendly Thai neighborhood provided a refreshing perspective of Bangkok. The room was exactly as depicted in the pictures and descriptions, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to experience the warm hospitality and unique charm of Bangkok!
- Carolina (10/5): A nice first impression of Bangkok - I really liked the location, you can go everywhere walking or by public transportation. It is a quite place but just around the corner you can find street food and experience a little bit more about local lifestyle. The host was extremely friendly and willing to help and his family as well. Was a great experience.
- Tun (8/5): Very good -
- Dânia (7/5): Good - - Really nice and friendly staff, they were available and helpful - in the morning it was too much light in the room
- not hot water available, only a cold shower
- the location it was a bit far away from everything
- Kristijonas (9/5): Superb - Owners were nice Paid water:(
- Olga (7/5): Good - The host is a nice person. The neighbours was glad to chat with us.
There is a fridge, pan and dishes in the room. In the fridge was water.
Seven eleven and MRT are close. I assume that the room was cleaned after previous guests but it was some time ago so there was a little dust.
- Watson (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - The stuff is very friendly, the rooms are well equipped and they have air conditioner. Just a detail, and it's a problem in all Thailand, but they only accept cash (no cards).
- Peter (6/5): Could be ok or even nice, but no thank you. - The owner is nice. - No hot water
- Location is horrible if you want to go anywhere, it will take 1+ hr by public transport or 150-250 thb per trip by taxi. What you save on the accommodation, you will lose on time and transportation costs.
- Only low quality street food is available nearby. Other areas in Bangkok has way much more and much better options when it comes to food.
- No bed, just an old, soft and bumpy mattress on the floor
- Old, dirty, rusty fridge
- No cleaning, the shower was full of long hair at the time of check-in
- Beer caps, plastics, leftover garbage in the drawers
- Lots of personal items left in the room
- Old, useless furniture in the room
- There is a lot of place to improve around the house and the apartment, but the owner is just laying and watching TV when at home. Never seen anyone to do anything, there’s a lot of garbage in the common areas… No one was touching it. This place could be run so much better… Very sad to see the negligence.
- Costello (10/5): big room / great place / nice host !! recommended - amazing location/ nice stuff everything was great 👍 would be great if it would be a bit cleaner 😊
- Stijn (10/5): Amazing place in a friendly neighborhood - It is a great stay in an amazing neighbourhood. Everyone is amazingly friendly and you feel immediately at home.
Also a great perk is that we could store our luggage for one day.
- Zachary (2/5): intense, absurd, eye opening, scary - lovely family and authentic experience. NO HOT WATER!!!! like ever. it wasn’t malfunctioning or temporarily out of service. there was no where to clean your body. I know it’s a third world country but surely everyone needs to clean themselves. there was a shower head that softly dripped rusty, smelly, cold water on top of the blocked drain. it emitted foul odours. unclean to the point I was worrying about catching a disease, stains and hair on most surfaces (and I’m bald, it’s not mine). I closed the bathroom door and waited for the morning to leave.
- Rowan (10/5): Felt like home - Really nice little place. Have to say that it took our tuktuk driver a little while to find but that wasn't the properties fault. We got greeted by a lovely gentleman... The whole family was lovely. The room itself felt like home, comfy bed, nice shower, fridge with some drinks in it and good wifi. Would recommend.
- Wendy (1/5): Bad - The room & location is great This Mr Nipon is a crazy man. I stayed twice there, the first time was good . When I arrived the 2nd time around 1030am, he told me I cn check-in early as it's the same room. I brought my luggage into the room & found the room exactly the same 2 days ago when I left. No housekeeping was done at all, strange ... but I didn't complain.
When I came back at 8pm, I was shocked to see other people's luggages in the room but no one inside!! I went downstairs to knock on Nipon's place but no one was in. I called him & he told me that I was supposed to stay in another room & asked me to swap keys with the other guests. What kind of arrangement is that?!
Then, Nipon's niece came down & clarify the matter. In fact, she messaged me on Booking.com but I didn't see it until the shocking incident. As she was there, I told Nipon that I'll hang up & deal with his niece.
After a short while, he called back & said that I've talked rough to him & ask me to get out of his house & he'll refund me! I may have raised my voice a little in the shock I was in but that shouldn't have resulted in him calling back to scold me, isn't it??
As it's was late, I didn't want to argue. I said everything settled, then he calmed down.
Instead of him apologizing, I'm the one apoligising to him, that's ridiculous! His niece is good.
All I can say, beware of the mad man!!!
- Nguyễn (8/5): Very good - The water of 4th floor is too weak and cold, we don’t have hot water. But the hostel owner is very very nice
- Louis (9/5): Superb - Pym and her brother are very nice people. I have stayed with them for 10 days, and everything was near perfect (only a crazy someone upstairs made some noise up to 3am+ one night, I hope you will only have respectful guests when you will come). The room is spacious and comfortable. There is a fridge, which is always nice in Thailand. I did not miss a hot shower, the water is already hot enough by itself. And the neighbourhood is great: there is a cute temple, plenty of canals, and the people are authentic (a guy saw that I was a little sad - because I did not want to leave Thailand -, so he played the guitar and taught me some muay thai movements) with less tourists than other areas, which I very much enjoyed. nothing except this unrespectful guest… 😉
- Domiziano (10/5): Super nice apartments in authentic neighborhood - The apartments are super welcoming, spacious and clean. Also located in the untouristic Bangkok Noi. It’s exactly what we were looking for.
- Costello (8/5): Great but a little bit noisy - everything was really nice there was a loud strange sound from the energy counter
for me it was really hard to sleep - but they fixed it after I told them - but in the night it started again
- Valentina (10/5): feel like home -
- Viktoryia (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent place! Spacious, clean room, nicely decorated, with all the necessary amenities. Cool local neighborhood. Kind owner who let me leave my bags after checkout time. Great value for money all in all. Nothing
- Sagar (9/5): Superb - Location is in the middle where all the locals live, it's a really good location, bus, metro and 7/11 is all in walkable distance
Air condition works well, room is large and spacious, has a gas cook top with utensils, clean and neat Beds make a lot of nice, wash-basin tap was leaking
- Dmitrii (9/5): Superb - A nice place, fair 10/10 for price-quality proportion. Yes, there is no warm water in the shower, but it is the only one lack – and for me personally there was none, because with a +30 outside the window you really don't need additional heating:)
I liked the features of this place: nice price, quiet neighborhood, a lot of space in the room, and, of course, Pym's hospitality. For me, NBH.@Prannok is the place that above all praises, I definitely recommend this one to my friends – and if I'll visit Bangkok again, first I'll check that hotel.
- Gracie83 (6/5): Pleasant - The location was fine. The apartment was quite large. Sofa and lamps made it nice.. No hot water, barely any water pressure. Bathroom was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable
- P. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xay-ananh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianita (9/5): Superb - We really love this place since it's very quiet but it's very central. It's not far from the Wang Lang Market and Pranok Harbour, BTS station, bus shelter, and surrounded with kind and humble local food sellers. The owner of the house also is very responsive and super humble. He responded very quickly when we told him that the AC is broken and fix it straight away. Surely we will stay in the same place if we are going back to Bangkok The water pressure in the shower is very slow. Apart from that, everything is amazing
- Zena (7/5): The Host is kind and helpful, area gives an authentic Thai experience but the bed was a let down :( - Staying here was great value for the price, it is authentic, lots of food markets around and tourist attractions. It is easy to commute from into central Bangkok and the host is very helpful and friendly. He is kind to guests The bed we had in our top floor room was bad, it made a racket whenever we made the slightest movement, making it hard to have sound sleep. The water pressure in the sink and shower is displeasing, the cold water does not help either.
