• Zakarliuka (1/5): Don't recommend at all! - Nothing I categorically do not recommend staying in this apartment. The windows face a bus parking lot, which means that from 5 AM buses were starting their engines and leaving them running until around 7. The noise was unbearable, the smell of exhaust was awful, and drivers were shouting constantly. The same thing happened in the evening when the buses returned. It was absolutely impossible to get any sleep. Parking was another nightmare. When I arrived, I couldn’t park my car at all. The owner simply said, “It’s the season, park wherever you can.” But there were cars everywhere and no free parking spaces. This caused a huge problem. The room itself was dirty and clearly not cleaned before my arrival: dust and dirt on all surfaces, even the table hadn’t been wiped. In the bathroom, there was a terrible sewage smell. The toilet and shower cabin looked like they had never been cleaned, and the sink was disgusting. The kitchen was no better. The stove was greasy, the dishes were filthy, and I had to wash everything before I could even use it. I smelt previous guests on my pillow and bed, It was awfull :( ! Staying here was a complete disaster. If the owner had honestly described all these conditions in the listing, I would have never booked it. Save yourself the trouble, choose a different place, and don’t waste your time or nerves here. P.S - I have more photos and video but can't attach it here

• Mihaela (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean, very comfortable, place is very close to everything you need (beach, supermarket, restaurants, shops)
• Theodore (10/5): Pleasant stay in an easily accessible apartment near the Durres Beach, bars/cafes & grocery stores. - This apartment was located very near the Durres Beach and on the 1st/2nd floor of the building. Services nearby include a Big Market (within crawling distance) and a bus stop (40lek/40cents to ride into downtown as of Sept 2023). The apartment itself was perfectly suited for a 2 week stay - I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area. The bed was large and comfortable; the t.v. and internet worked (and was fast), the a.c. unit was appreciated the few warms days it was needed; kitchen supplies made eating on site very easy and affordable. The refrigerator was a smaller one, like many college students would expect to see in a dorm room. That limited how much perishable goods could be bought/stored at a time. Fortunately, there are a few grocery stores just nearby, so shopping for essentials & perishables was easily done on a daily basis.
