• Angles (10/5): Great value if you don’t want a big hotel on the beach. I would definitely recommend this place. - Great communication from Ramon and great location for the airport. We loved staying here. The kitchen was very small but had everything we needed including a coffee machine! Ramon was very helpful with directions (pre arrival and at departure). The area felt safe and wasn’t noisy at all. There are very steep stairs up to the property and big steps inside too. If you need to use the bathroom in the night be very careful! This is not something that can be changed so definitely not a negative from us, just something for others to consider.

• Frederick (5/5): Decent. - The bedrooms are comfortable, clean, spacious, and the bathroom is fine. The kitchen is a bit small but appropriate for an Airbnb. The kitchen had a bottle of clean drinking water. That was very good. The living room sofa is dirty. The lock on the front door is very loose, and the lock has the same key as the guest in the condo downstairs. This doesn't seem very secure to me. First day there was no hot water, and on the second-to-last we had no water in the morning because they were fixing a leak. Visitors are not permitted on the property, including the yard.

• Nancy (10/5): Lovely vacation spot - Wonderful place off the beaten path. It was clean, quiet and the owners were a pleasure. Thank you for a lovely stay. Everything was great. We advised the owner that something needed repair and they were right on it.
• Beran (5/5): Very basic accommodations for short stay. - It is located in a secure area with a gate. This was both good and a little complicated. It felt safer but you also have to show id which is photographed and license plate photographed every time you enter. Ramon is super friendly and helpful, much more comfortable speaking Spanish. We were only there from 9pm until 4:30am next day so have limited experience with what else is nearby and have NO info on the exterior of the house because it was dark. It is really difficult to contact the host when you are traveling internationally and can only use the booking.com website with wifi. I was able to find a phone number and he answered right away and was over in just a couple minutes. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the place is located in a dense neighborhood where two story condo type structures are packed in. This one is at the end of the street and has some nice vegetation around it. The stairs to get to the unit are very steep--the entire unit is upstairs.

• Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Out of city centre but not too far by Uber. Shopping was also easy to get to. The owner is close at hand.
• Lindsey (8/5): Quaint and basic, recommended for short stays only. - This was a very residential location which was a bit away from any hot spot areas or restaurants. Definitely felt more local! Nona was very sweet, meeting us to hand over keys and walk through the property. The stairs to the unit are very steep. Not recommended for anyone with movement challenges. Due the residential location there's not much around for food - requires driving elsewhere. The neighbor dogs were also, unfortunately, very vocal most of the night.

• Robert (2/5): Awful. Left next morning - Owner’s daughter was very sweet and friendly. Location was ok Communication was awful. ran into complications with our rental and we were there an hour or so later. Host did not communicate with us (I showed proof even though they said otherwise). When we arrived there there was no one there, both contact phones went straight to mailbox. I had to knock on a neighbors door so she could go find me the daughter. Stood outside for 45min in this heat with a baby. There’s no “reception desk” as advertised or anything. Property looks very different than advertised. Very rustic (not in a good way) and old, was dirty, had dead bugs (killed by hand) on the walls, there were huge ROACHES in the house, towels felt like sand paper, owners expected us to collect trash and throw it away outside etc (and told us we should buy trash bags ourselves) even though they charge a cleaning fee. We are paying for a service even if it’s a house, this is not a tipped couchsurfing. It was so weird that there were family photos all over the house if this is a property used for renting to tourists as well. Beds felt like made out of carboard, and all they give you is only a very thin sheet. Living room/kitchen are extremely warm. A property looking like this should not be used for rent. I suggest the owners decorating differently if targeted to tourists. Definitely don’t recommend to families traveling with small children. Floors are uneven and they’re dangerous for toddlers. There were dogs barking ALL night loudly. Just terrible. We left the next morning.
• Sorin (9/5): Nice apartment in a safe area, but you need a car to move around - The apartment (I got the apartment on the 2nd floor) is in a secure area on a closed street with security at the entrance. Everything is good but you need a car to go along. Even the hosts dont recomment walking on the street of Cancun. So if you rented a car or you are ok with getting around with taxis this is a good location.

• Sheryll (9/5): Safe, Simple, Well Equipped, and Clean. - They had all the amenities needed for cooking, showering, etc. The place was super clean and safe. nona and Ramon were both awesome. There were only air conditioners that worked in the bedrooms. There was no air conditioner that worked in the living room. The fan in the back room wobbles a lot and makes a lot of noise so it’s a bit hard to sleep with the fan on. Definitely needs to be fixed. Pillows are very hard but beds are comfy. We were told that we could only have one set of towels for nine days which did not sit well with us. However, Nona did send her daughter over with a new set of towels when we were less than happy about not getting new ones. So that issue was resolved. But all this is not to say that the hosts were not great because they were awesome!! Anything we needed they addressed immediately.
