• Irina (1/5): - Location The location and sea view are good, however the condition of the apartment was very disappointing. The property is poorly maintained, quite dirty, and does not match expectations. There were several serious issues: an open electrical socket (unsafe, especially with a child), a broken shower which made it impossible to properly wash, and doors that would not close properly. The surrounding area was also dirty. I stayed only because the booking was non-refundable and I could not afford to pay for another place, but this was not acceptable for the price paid. I would not recommend this place unless these issues are fixed.

• Víctor (1/5): No recomendable - No me gustó nada en absoluto, para empezar por la terraza la mesa no se puede usar está rota completamente,para tender la ropa muy sucio el salón un sofá cama donde el colchón está lleno de suciedad una mesa de vidrio sin limpiar, el hervidor no es adecuado en lo personal lo tiraría, la cocina le falta limpieza. La habitación: las almohadas hechas un asco demasiado sucias se ve que nunca las cambian, los armarios llenos de manchas las puertas y mal limpias El baño: la puerta no cierra y super sucia, el espejo en mal estado, la ducha sucia y la manija rota.

• Dawn (1/5): Unclean, unkempt and a waste of money, concerns in no way validated by agency - The bedding. Many more photos and videos and images but only allowed to add 4. This property is terrible, and if not for the fact that we did not discover the extent of the problems until it was too late, we would have left the day we arrived. We left the following morning after providing booking.com and the property agency with information that this property is not acceptable. The shower is not fit for purpose. The doors are not securely fitted and there is little room to move around in the shower. It is a very small shower and the internal fittings have taken up too much space to allow for movement. If one move the doors would be dislodged, which could result in serious injury. The shower is unsafe. The property smells of cat urine both inside and outside. The property has a stained and unsightly headboard and the room smelt of an unclean smell ; a strong smell that could not be ignored. The architrave in the bathroom above the door is missing and reveals an unsightly gap. The stairs leading to the property are dirty, narrow, full of weeds, and clearly unkempt. The final stairwell leading to the property is very narrow due to an overhang which limits movement and is unsafe when trying to carry luggage. It is also not well lit, another hazard. The area is like a building site. None of these issues were advertised within the property description or the photos. The photos advertised look very nice and we were certainly fooled by them, but the reality is very different and we feel that we were misled and miss sold. I have never felt the need to leave a property after just one night out of 4. We tried to get our money back through Booking.com but the property insisted there was nothing wrong with the accommodation and this simply was not true. We were meant to feel like we were being dishonest. I have booked many accommodation through Booking.com and I have always left honest reviews which are positive. This is the only time I have left a negative review. I feel compelled to do so to protect other people from being hoodwinked like we were.

• José Luis (1/5): Scheisse - Gar nichts! Dieser Ressorts hat sich nicht bemüht mich zu kontaktieren! Die Wohnung die wir gebucht hatten waren von einander entfernt und das ist bei der Buchung nicht gestanden! Beide Wohnungen&Küchen sehr dreckig(Harre,Flecken von getrockneten Flüssigkeit,Staubig,wurde kein ein Liter Wasser zu trinken und auch gar keine Möglichkeit zum selber am Morgen Kaffee zu kochen gegeben,Kühlschrank bei der Wohnung Nr.50 Lief immer auf vollen Touren es konnte nicht geregelt werden Früchte,Wasser die wir gekauft hatten froren ein, Balkon konnte nicht geöffnet werden da die Schiebeglasstüre klemmte an der Seite zum Balkon zu gehen auch könnten beide Wohnungen abgeschlossen werden da die Balkontüren kein Schloss oder Griffe zum abschliessen haben!Duschen/WC (Schiemel an den Rändern der Dusche,WC Schüssel dreckig von Kot die Bürste zum reinigen sehr wahrscheinlich über 10 Jahre alt,für die ganze Zeit nur zwei Duschtücher und zu wenig Duschmittel bei der eine Wohnung und bei der andere gar keins). Wir haben in denen vielen Jahren nie reklamiert obwohl wir da und dort Kleinigkeiten waren aber diese zwei Wohnungen übertreffen alles wie hach die Kommunikation mit Blue Sea war nicht zum Gebrauchen Notfall Telefon niemand nimmt ab bei WhatsApp wurde und gesagt da die Situation der vielen Buchungen keine Möglichkeit gebe uns weiter zu helfen! Also mir wäre es lieber dieser Ressorts hätte uns einen Rückerstattung offeriert und wir wären ins Hotel gefahren aber das ist denen egal so wie ich vernommen habe von Nachbaren die dort wohnen. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und hoffen auf keine weitere Abenteuer von solchen Firmen die anscheinend Ihnen es geht den anderen das Geld aus dem Portmonee zunehmen und keine gewissen haben solche Wohnungen/Zimmer zu vermieten 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Alles wie es oben steht! Gar nichts ist nur scheisse !

• Hans (7/5): - Het uitzicht en terras viel tegen door ver overhangende takken met prikkels en deze opmerking verstuurt met de vraag om te snoeien maar helaas geen respons. Door naburige bouwactiviteiten moest er ruimte gemaakt worden in doorgang waar de overhangende takken moesten worden verwijderd om te kunnen rijden en maar gevraagd of zij ook op het terras zelf wilde snoeien wat ze hebben gedaan.

A casa quando chegámos tinha pó e aranhas bem como muitas muitas muitas formigas. No dia seguinte seguinte a termos chegado e com a nossa autorização, foram lá matar algumas formigas, no entanto a nossa comida não sobreviveu aos ataques e deixaram nos por diversas vezes atrapalhadas e na despesa. • Angela (4/5): - The terrace was quite spacious, but we had to bring the indoor table and chairs outside, as there were no sun loungers—only a very dusty, old, and uncomfortable bench. The air conditioner worked well, but it blew directly onto the bed, which made it feel windy while sleeping :) The nice beaches and the bus stop to Málaga were just a short walk away. The terrace was constantly invaded by ants, so we were afraid to eat there. No insect repellent was provided, so we had to buy it ourselves. The blanket was too warm for August, but the sheets and mattress were good. The windows and floors were dirty, and overall cleanliness was poor. The washing machine didn’t work—the water didn’t drain, so we ended up cleaning the floor ourselves. We also saw a cockroach in the bathroom (dead, surrounded by countless ants) and a live one in the kitchen under the sink. When we complained, they cleaned the terrace of ants, so we decided to stay since we had already booked the property, but we were really tempted to leave early.

• Machulik (1/5): - Es war nicht weit vom Meer Die Unterkunft befindet sich direkt neben einer Baustelle. Den ganzen Tag war der Riesenbagger mit Stemmhammer und LKW im Einsatz. Der lerm und Staub waren unerträglich. Nichts darüber stand in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft auf der Homepage. Eine Entschädigung sieht der Betreiber nicht an. Solange die Bauarbeiten noch andauern kann ich diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlen. Die Wohnung war an sich in Ordnung und die Lage auch, aber nichts für ältere Menschen, der Berg bis 8n die Unterkunft ist lang und ein Auto kann man nirgends abstellen.
• Przemyslaw (6/5): - Mało rzeczy które się podobały poza pogodą, oczywiście pisze tu o zakwaterowaniu Wysłano nam taxi dzień wcześniej, trudno znaleźć numer domu, brudno , mały apartament, żadnej butelki nawet z wodą na powitanie, łóżko bez jednej nogi z boku, mały prysznic , size dla dzieci albo anorektyków.Poza tym zdjęcia na stronie to jakby inna rzeczywistość, masakra , nie polecam za tą cenę.
• Darren (7/5): Initial disappointment - apartment doesn’t currently look as welcoming as in the photos, but overall a comfortable stay - In a good location. Other reviews said about the steep walk. However, I used the steps just off the main road, which were acceptable to use (althouh not for those with poorer mobility), and then a short walk up an admittedly steep hill, but again very manageable. The bed was comfortable, bathroom facilities acceptable and a reasonable shower. Aircon was good. This does come with a ‘well done’ for taking prompt action: I was really disappointed to see the view from the terrace which was covered to a large extent with overgrown vegetation and branches from a tree growing from the path below. It gave very little natural light to the terrace, and there was not the promised sea view because of this. I find it incredible that someone would let this property without undertaking very basic garden maintenance. And now the ‘well done’: Sunset Málaga Apartments acted also immediately when I alerted them on arrival to the fact that I was dissatisfied with this. They sent a maintenance person/gardener to the property whilst I was at the beach and by the time of my return, had cut away all of the offending vegetation. Thank you to Samantha for attending to this straight away and I was then able to enjoy the views to the sea.

In my case, we first moved in a previously booked apartment but noticed there some technical issues . I approached the team to fix it and was surprise to receive immediate reaction, even with providing a better apartment to stay, as compensation for complications. And the location is totally perfect - supermarket, bus stops to city center and surely the sea right across the street. Definitely recommend you!

After we called him he ask us to write him a mail, to let him with the issue! after we wrote the mail, he ask us to send video showing that the toilet flush did not work!? we where not able to send the video and he never did anything to change fix the toilet. We have been there twice and like the place very much, yet the people who work there will not repair even the basic eg. toilet flush. Yet keep in mind the door of the Balcony does not close properly and even two years ago did not work. And the toilet door is very difficult to open from inside. We really hope this wonderful place will get new people who take care of it and fixes there balcony door and the toilet flush!
• Philip (1/5): Bad - Nothing It was not as advertised on photos on booking.com. Property was unclean, lots of dirty areas, shower stall was filthy, electrics unsafe and the view was not as seen in photo. All in all a very disappointing apartment and we left after one night and had to buy another apartment for 6 nights. We feel that we are owed a refund and will peruse this claim.
• Ekaterina (6/5): In the middle of nowhere - The one beautiful thing is terrace. Pictures looks much better than the reality. It’s up but near rush road. Window and door doesn’t have isolation so you hear all noise. Very minimalistic of everything.

• Therese (5/5): The apartment was fine but the location was up a steep hill. - The small apartment was fine with a small kitchen in the living room and a bathroom and separate bedroom. I was there without a car so had to walk up the steep hill with my luggage and then later with groceries. I am over 70 years old and this was a challenge. The door also did not feel very secure.

• Marie (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect The terrace was beautiful and the view was amazing The apartment was a little tired and would have benefited from new crockery, and a small pot. While everything was clean the towels and bed linen were well worn. It was a shame as the location is ideal. A small amount of extra effort would have made this a real gem
