• Fotoas Fotoas (10/5): Frumos - Locatie frumoasa cu o gradina de flori impresionanta, in mijlocul naturii, plaja la aproximativ 3,5 km unde estye si portul, statie de microbuz nr. 12 la 200 de metri cu carwe puteti ajunge in centrul localitatii de unde puteti lua alte microbuze spre diferite plaje. De la aeroport poate este posibil sa ajungeti cu mijloacele de transport dar pare complicat deoarece statia de microbuz este departe de aeroport, aproximativ 2 km de unde ar trebui sa mergeti incentru apoi de acolo alt microbuz nr. 12 care merge langa locatie, noi am renuntat si am mers cu Ron proprietarul. Terase in apropiere, un supermarket modest aprovizionat este la 1 km iar o plaje de foarte mica tot la aceeasi distanta.
• jens (9/5): - Gute Lage etwas abseits vom Tourismus . Sehr netter hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Nähe zu kleinen Badestrand. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorhanden. Mit sehr preiswerten Public Bus Ausflüge zum English Harbour und Strände unbedingt empfehlenswert.

• Claudia (9/5): - It’s very comfortable and the facilities are great! Beautiful garden and nice room. However if you don’t have a vehicle it might be a bit far away from major areas but Ron would help out (bus or taxi, etc.) would definitely recommend and will be back!
• Elisabeth (9/5): - lovely owners who have a simple guesthouse which is perfect for a few nights. We used it as our base to explore Falmouth/English Harbour. It's very good value for money. It's a bit far so you will need to get a taxi/bus into town.
• Rebecca (7/5): - Ron was a very kind and hospitable host. He was able to find us an extra room at short notice and was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Although the rooms are a little dated, the showers are hot and the beds are comfy. You need a car to get into English Harbour but this suited us and there are a few bars and eateries in Falmouth Harbour if you are happy walking along the road. The rooms didn't have consistent amenities (kettle, mugs etc) although Ron was able to find us what we needed. Be prepared for the wildlife (ants and mosquitoes).

As to was the view and my host - Ron!! Signage was a little bit of a problem upon arrive but nothing major. I’m sure if I’d have read the pre stay instructions or text Ron - it would have been 100% clear. So it’s more of a me problem 😩
• James (10/5): - Very clean and tidy in a beautiful quiet location. 2 great restaurants are about 12 minutes walk away. Or there is a place to rent a car very nearby. Definitely recommend.
• Pauwels (10/5): Mooie, rustig gelegen kamer bij vriendelijke mensen - Vanaf het moment van aankomst voelde ik mij hier oprecht welkom. De ontvangst was bijzonder hartelijk: een uiterst vriendelijke host nam meteen de tijd om tips te geven over leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt en hielp mij bovendien met het regelen van vervoer naar de luchthaven. Dit alles gebeurde met een aanstekelijke glimlach, op een joviale en oprecht warme manier. Dat gaf meteen een gevoel van thuiskomen. De kamer zelf was kraaknet, stijlvol en zeer verzorgd. Alles straalde rust en kwaliteit uit. Een absolute troef was de douche, met een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei – een moment van pure ontspanning. Daarnaast was de kamer heerlijk rustig, wat het verblijf extra aangenaam maakte. Wat vooral blijft hangen, is de warmte van de mensen. Ik voelde mij hier geen nummer, maar een oprechte gast. Dit is zonder twijfel een ideale locatie voor wie rustig wil verblijven en toch vlak bij het levendige Nelson’s Dockyard en de jachthaven van Antigua wil zijn. Een plek waar comfort, gastvrijheid en een mooie omgeving perfect samenkomen. -

Absolutely stunning, this place will inspire you to forgot all your worries and set your heart a blaze. The Island of Antigua itself is a paradise so Unforgettable Gardens is a paradise within a paradise. I would highly recommend for anyone to visit and stay at this location. This place is not just a temporary stop, a place to have events, a place to relax , no, this place is all of the above and more, this place is home. Mr. Ron Collins, his family and his entire staff are extremely accommodating and openly welcoming, the perfect host. The location itself is quiet with tranquil surroundings. There are different types of fruit trees to captivate a tropical experience. Numerous species of birds and other exotic creatures will entice your curiosity. The locals within the area are just as welcoming too and will instantly make you feel like long time friends. There are restaurants to accommodate eating out and shops to facilitate your needs. There are beaches nearby to explore and very near to English Harbor which is well known for its beautiful sceneries including Boat racing, Yacht shows and aquatic activities. Truly is an unforgettable experience, one that I will like to soon return too. • Jenn (10/5): Lovely location, surrounded by nature and animals - Location is fantastic a great spot to explore English Harbour and Falmouth. Really enjoyed the beach ride and swim at the nearby Antigua Equestrian Centre. The host was very helplful and straighforward to organise check in, even with a last minute booking. Everything was fine.

• Eden (4/5): Disappointing - The property, gardens were beautiful and the hosts were lovely and easy to communicate with. I liked the outdoor communal seating area and the view of the trees from there. Property and are felt quiet and relaxing. Room was very tiny, no kitchen only a kettle and mini fridge. Bathroom doesn't have a door so sharing a room when someone uses the bathroom is unfortunate. Small room. Got munched by mosquitos. It was a bit expensive for what my small room had to offer and the photos showed all the different rooms available there so I didn't know which one I was to expect.

• Louise (9/5): AMAZING!!! - Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Unforgettable Gardens and I was very sad to leave! Everything clean & tidy, comfortable room, gorgeous surroundings, great location. The hosts are beautiful souls and always show kindness, warm and friendly smiles and conversation and are very flexible and attentive for their guests. Its evident just how much they care about what they do, their big hearts are very much on display all the time. I honestly cannot wait to go back and stay there again! I would highly recommend booking this fantastic place - you will not be disappointed :) Lots of mosquitos, however of course this is to be expected. And this minor inconvenience is far outweighed by the great blessing of being in such a paradise as Antigua! Just get a good bug spray for the room and use it before you go out in the morning/at night which should help :)

Ron was available when we needed him, and answered all our questions about restaurants and beaches and things to do. Walking distance to nice restaurants and grocery stores. Our room was very clean, We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would not hesitate to come back anytime. Our room was a bit poorly soundproofed. It was only a door between our room and the room nextdoor. You need a car to go to the beaches (well, I guess you could go there by bus too, but we never tried that). Anyway, the beaches nearby (Pigeons, Galleon Bay) are great!

Dinah and Les and not forgetting Lindzey made our trip even more memorable The apartment was extremely clean, and we had all the amenities needed. It has a nice family feel, and the grounds are just stunning. We are having our wedding reception there next year, so we came to sort the preparations in advance. Dinah has the most beautiful setup, and it was so easy for us to vision our special day. They are the best hosts I've ever met and really go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. Their accommodations I would highly recommend and if you ever need their venue for a function definitely look no further. Thank you all. Love always sham & Roger x

• Daljeet (10/5): This place is literally UNFORGETABLE! A-1 PLUS! A crime not to stay here! - The location is perfect great access to English harbour,Shirley Heights and pigeon point beach to name a few great places it is quiet and relaxing. Plenty of car parking and fab views to boot i would like to add! The rooms are all well kept and very clean and well furnished too! We took great care to turn of lights and power points which are plenty! We also saved water being an island water and power are hard to maintain so my advice is to any one is do your bit to help this lovely Island. I have stayed here before and this is the reason for coming back i cannot speak highly enough about this great place and great hosts Ron and Dinah both are pretty much dab hands and i found them extremely helpful and reliable. As you walk through the main entrance keep a sharp eye for Humming birds! The flowers and shrubs are just so lovely. The varandah i found was a great place to see the day dawn...... Peaceful and relaxing. . . with a cup of coffee in hand i felt i was in heaven! I hired a car which is well worth doing and please visit Shirley Heights for the picture of a life time! The other place i found nice was Longbay beach! Thanx Ron and Dinah you guys are amazing hosts see you in March. . . . .Cannot wait! It is all good trust me!

• Ricardo (7/5): My stay was great. - The warm welcome greetings, the view and near all: walking distance groceries, sweety’s, Cloggys restaurant great ocean views. Nelson attraction park including finning and shopping and let’s not forget Mama’s Delight missing that home feel meal felt at home. After Mama’s a trip to Pigeon point beach that crystal clear water beach. The roads from the airport to the apartment have been seriously neglected. Other than that especially around St. George area by the stadium and behind the airport.

No air conditioning - I understand that there are rooms with aircon but unfortunately, I booked late and everything was taken. It was ok at night but really hot during the day. The room was very small I had a problem with where to put stuff.

Owner Ron who was really helpful and friendly about just about anything that you needed. Also helpful hints on how to enjoy the area. Really good value for money paid.

The room, whilst slightly smaller than I expected, was perfect for my stay at this delightful property. The room was clean and well equipped. There was a fridge and kettle provided. Antigua has an excellent bus service and it is relatively easy to get to the accommodation from the airport by bus. There is a supermarket nearby plus an excellent restaurant - Cloggys. The owner (Ron) is a super host and I enjoyed our chats very much. Not a dislike, just a recomendación. The property is in a rural setting - take some mosquito spray with you :-).

• C (10/5): Great place, clean, friendly, well-maintained. An oasis in the countryside! - Did not have breakfast. I liked the congenial owner Ron Collins and his wife very much. Grounds have dozens of gorgeous, well-tended flowering plants, especially bouganvillas. and owner has large walled property, with building and grounds to host weddings. From my room I could see a little of English Harbour. It's only two or three miles to English Harbour and the marvelous Nelson's Dockyard. There are several types of rooms available; mine was a very basic, inexpensive studio with fan (cool enough for me), just fine because that's all I needed. Owner showed me two of the air conditioned larger rooms with kitchenettes which would be better for couples or families. Good prices. Owner said his sign on the main road blew down, it really is necessary for visitors who don't know the area. Also they absolutely need a sign on his attractive brick wall near the entry gate. The three hundred yard long road is rough, but you're in the real Antigua , and Ron's place is an oasis in that beautiful countryside.

• Stefan (8/5): Nice stay in a convenient location - Very nice apartment, with all the facilities we needed. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. It was conveniently located, with Falmouth Harbour and English Harbour walkable. Hiring a car made it more convenient to get around the island and there was generally ample parking. This is also a wedding venue, which is fine, although on one of the days we weren't informed that a wedding was happening. I had to park my hire car on a main road and there was music until very late.
• Nikki (9/5): Geeat value, great hosts, beautiful scenery, quiet yet not too far from English Harbour - Geeat value -clean, comfortable quarters, gotgeous views and gardens, superb hosts. Bucolic setting yet, only a few minutes walk to a secluded beach, the bus stop, a supermarket and restaurant. If you don't like walking (was not an issue for us) I would recommend renting a car. Room was a bit small and basic, but peefectly clean and had averything as advertised . Would definitely stay here again.

• Daljeet (10/5): Lovely-clean-quiet place! great host! - Where do i start. . . So many pluses here the host the location the beaches . . . Our host was Ron a lovely chap a happy guy with an amazing smile very helpful. We had some house keeping for good measure this was a bonus for us the room we stayed in was super cool complete with a clean fridge and a kettle and cups so making a morning coffee was very nice i was up by 4.45am most mornings to catch dawn from the nice balcony which had lovely sea glimpses the best part of the day! Armed with my laptop the WI-FI was amazingly quick! (thanks Ron) A coffee in hand i was in heaven whilst my girlfriend slept haha! We hired a car which we picked up at the air-port this is a MUST HERE! Buses are few i saw only 2 in 10days and these where parked up so hire a car you get so much more from Antigua trust me freedom and independance we could go where we wanted when we wanted! Car parking not a problem at Unforgetable gardens lots of room for car! We bought some things from UK as being an Island things are not cheap, what to bring. . . think what you need simple as that! This place is quiet it is very relaxing and location is the best in Antigua trust me! Would i stay here again YES i would Host-location-Accomodation A-1PLUS! Well done to Ron and his family of course!!!! NOTHING ALL GOOD!

Am happy I stayed there and to have met the friendly and personable proprietors. - First and foremost, Ron and Mrs Ron are tremendous in how they make things happen, everything is smoothed out - great personalities. After leaving, I had a big problem and they (with Omar the taxi driver) saved the day. Couldn’t do enough to help 👏👍 Good value especially by Antigua standards 😮 Bus 17 from road 150 metres away (Big ‘O’s is the stop) goes to Castries (Market Street station). English Harbour etc not too far. Supermarket within walking distance. Nothing much but a bar of soap would be a simple add-on. I guess I would swap a tv for a fridge and a fan for a.c. but others may differ.
