Guest Reviews
- PIOTR (8/5): - Miejsce, spokojne noce, blisko do rynku z lokalnymi produktami, bliskość różnych restauracji i barów no i do centrum i atrakcji w 20 minut piechotą.
- Sophie (10/5): - Perfectly located in the Oltrarno neighbourhood, great value for money with the size of the apartment. Silvia was very accomodation meeting us at check in time.
- Marina (9/5): - Eine schön eingerichtete, saubere, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, tolle Lage Vorsicht: enge und steile Treppe zur Wohnung (die Wohnung ist im 2.Stock)
- Livia (10/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): - Accommodation as described. Very clean. Everything we needed. Great location
- Gabriella (8/5): Mysig liten lägenhet - Bra läge i staden, hjälpsam värdinna , trevlig liten lägenhet!
- Sandra (9/5): A comfortable flat in the San Spirito district of Florence. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby; and walking distance of - Really well located for exploring Florence.
Comfortable apartment with everything for an enjoyable stay. A couple of flights of steep stairs was tricky with heavy cases.
A few cups were chipped and/or broken
Neither a big deal
- Luka (10/5): - Dandelion Flat is a great place to stay while in Florence. It's clean, comfortable and has everything you may need during your visit. The location is close to perfect, right at the heart of Oltrarno - and a short walk away from the main attractions. The host was more than friendly, always ready to answer our questions and even made some adjustments for our stay. I would definitely recommend this place for your next visit! Sometimes there were wi-fi and signal issues, but nothing we couldn't manage.
- Karen (9/5): Apartment is close to restaurants & attractions in centre of Florence. - Location is next street to restaurants, cafes & village centre. Walking distance to attractions. Coffee machine was a welcome touch. Our Host Silvia was very helpful & met us on arrival. ..
- Irina (10/5): - All was good, enjoyed our stay at the property. Location is good and the host was lovely.

- Kim (9/5): Great place to stay in Florence! - Spacious, clean, nice decor, great shower! The host was easy to communicate with and worked with us to accommodate an early check in which I really appreciated! I found the bed uncomfortable. My partner thought it was fine.

- Dominique (8/5): Un séjour inoubliable à Florence - Très bien placé pour. Imiter Florence à pied. Logement calme, bien équipé Attention, 2 eme étage avec escalier très raide
- Pia (10/5): -
- YA TING (10/5): - I felt great from the time I arrived to the time I left. The host took great care of us.
- Francesca (10/5): Love the vibe of this place! - Such a beautiful and spacious place to stay in Florence! The location is perfect, away from the busy attractions but still bustling with rich culture. The place was clean, the bathroom was cozy and the kitchen was nice and well-equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals. There are lots of good restaurants, gelato shops and charming stores nearby. Very walkable to some of the attractions of Florence. Communicating with the host Silvia was easy and fast. Will definitely book again when we return! No elevator so be ready to bring luggage up a few flights of stairs, best to bring a small luggage for less trouble
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jay (9/5): This was a great base, south of the Arno River and away from the main tourist chaos of Florence. - Location was great. The layout was nice, with separate areas for living room, kitchen, and bedroom. I was cool and cosy during a warm period in the city. Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom.
- Godfrey (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent. It enabled one to explore, return to the apartment for a break and then enjoy the nightlife.
The host was responsive and has given clear directions. Everything was perfect
- Osmary (9/5): Spacious and comfortable apartment in the heart of the city - The property is located in the middle of Santo Espiritu, a young and lively neighborhood with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Ponte Vecchio, Galeria Uffizi, and Palazzo Pitti, some of the many attractions in Florence, are also a few minutes away. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, which helped us a lot because we like to eat a big breakfast before leaving. At checkout, we needed a few more minutes, and they waited for us patiently. The espresso machine wasn't working, and I think a lock box for the key would be a better system, since they can only meet you from 2pm to 8pm, otherwise you have to pay 30 euros. When I travel I like flexibility to enjoy the places I'm seeing, and sometimes that means arriving late at the hotel. At the end, the hotel is only to sleep. I want to use my time to explore and having a specific time to check in can be annoying.
- András (9/5): IN spite of the steep staircase we were pleased to stay there. - The apartment was located 5-min walk from the river Arno, in a nice medieval district. There were several 13-15th century palaces in the region and the Santo Spirito Church (2 min from our house) was an excellent example of early Renaissance Florentine architecture. At the same piazza we found also a very good pizzeria. There was a very steep stairecase and the 40 stairs leading to our 2nd-store cannot be recommended to senior guests.
- Dmitry (10/5): we enjoyed our stay. comfortable, clean. nice location -
- Dana (9/5): We very much enjoyed Florence and this location was the best. - Very walkable. Nice to have a kitchen. Easy to get to from train station. Good size apartment. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to sleep. Good heating system for winter. The common door to the building did not work well.
- Aleksandar (10/5): Great host, perfect location, very clean - Amazing location, great host, extremely clean. Big flat for two. Loved it.
- Julien (10/5): Extremely charming, clean, silent, well located flat. - The flat is really charming and location is excellent. Extremely clean.
The building is completely silent (you won’t hear a peep!) and the bed is super comfortable (ideal for resting after a long day spent touring the city). It is very well equipped and all the necessary amenities are present.
The host, Silvia, is extremely kind and acommodating. We had a very pleasant stay and, if we ever return to Firenze, this is the first place we will look into booking!
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. The host was very helpful and the apartment was very comfortable, clean and well equipped for cooking. Highly recommended. Lots of restaurants nearby and great market in the Santo Spirito piazza on Sunday. Easy walk across the river to all the main tourist spots. Pitti Palace a few minutes away. Nothing
- April (8/5): Great stay, nice host, good location! - Our host was kind and easy to communicate with, the location is off a busy street and very easy to get to, the amenities were great. We loved our stay, the only feedback we have is to provide an extra set of towels. We were staying for 4 nights with one set of towels each, there was an option where we could get another set for 10 euros upon request, so we made do with the set we had.
- Paula (9/5): We had a lovely stay in Florence and this accommodation met all our needs. - Accessible, clean and comfortable property. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was so well equipped and had everything you could possibly need for a short trip. Facilities were so clean. We loved the location, close to where we were being picked up for different tours and the main attractions. Equally lovely part of town to eat and have a drink at night. Would definitely recommend to others.
- Beth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Communication with Silvia was great. Thanks to Alessandra for checking us in and showing how things worked. Kitchen was conveniently equipped with essentials and the bathroom felt luxurious. Easy walking distance to a couple supermarkets.
- Zeng (9/5): Superb - The flat is well laid out and charmingly decorated with most of the amenities you could want while travelling. The gas stove was excellent for cooking a home-cooked Florentine steak. Silvia was exceptionally responsive and helpful. Kettle was very small and could not be disconnected from the electrical cord. Besides that, no complaints!
- Karyn (9/5): Superb - Great location to all tourist spots. Great apartment. Separate rooms. Very comfortable. Clean. Spacious. Great shower. Comfy bed. Close supermarkets for supplies. Communication was simple and we were met at the door. Recommend highly Nothing
- Rose (10/5): Super location; safe. - Large apartment at a location near downtown sites. Landlord was very helpful and accommodating. Nothing
- Tanis (9/5): Great hostess, amazing location - Fantastic location, cute apartment. Excellent communication with the hostess. Steep and narrow steps to second floor could be an issue for people with mobility issues.
- Lindsey (10/5): A great place to stay in Florence - The location was excellent - close to many good bars and restaurants and a short walk over the river to central Florence. Nothing!
- Mohammad (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect. The flat was clean, quiet, well equipped. I definitely recommend it. We loved how Italian it was but someone may don't like the stairs
- Sophie (9/5): Superb - The warm welcome and the perfect location The wifi and the mobile network a bit weak
- Patricia (9/5): Superb -
- Alistair (9/5): Fabulous Florence - apartment was relatively spacious with a nicely furnished kitchen and living room. kitchen was well equipped and had a big fridge. Bed was comfortable. location was excellent - very close to a lot of restaurants and a square (Piazza Spirito Santo) that had a great atmosphere in the evenings. Despite the bed being very comfortable, the AC in the bedroom didn't work correctly and on a couple of occasions the room was too hot to sleep in. it was the only issue, but when you're exhausted from sightseeing, a good night's sleep is extremely important.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (9/5): Great neighborhood and a wonderful flat. I'd stay there again. - The location is great. I really enjoyed the neighborhood. Santo Spirito isn't as crowded as many other areas in Florence and the market in the piazza was nice to walk through. It's easy to get anywhere in town from this location if you don't mind walking, which is to be expected in a city like this. The flat is perfect for one or two people and the hosts had a person there to hand me the key when I arrived.
- Elena (10/5): Highly recommend staying at Dandelion flat - We truly enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. Everything about it is just perfect, the interior, the location, fully equipped kitchen and the shower with a strong water pressure. The only thing that might need improving is the wifi signal. It only works in the living room and in the kitchen.
- Jack (10/5): Had a brilliant time in Florence and this apartment just topped it off. Highly recommend, great hosts. - Well furnished and well set out. Apartment was clean and well located. nothing.
- Kurt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional - The place was lovely, great location, and quiet at night, shower was good and bed comfortable.
- Aliceb333 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (9/5): A wonderful place to stay in a lovely setting. - It was in a beautiful part of the city and very convenient. it was clean and neat. The host was very responsive and helpful. Perhaps a few more towels and pillows would be an enhancement, though when asked, Silvia brought over.
- Isabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlos (10/5): A perfect, central and chilled-out place to stay in central Florence - A smallish but brilliantly designed and attractively decorated, high-ceilinged wee flat.
Dandelions abound, of course!
Cosy bedroom (with very comfy double bed), stylish little bathroom, compact kitchen area, and lovely sitting room with
a small TV and the usual oddly compulsive Italian channels.
Quiet too, but with just round the corner a brilliant buzzy piazza with a quirky weekend market and loads of nice cafés,
bars, eateries + a handy tabacalera for buying postcards, smokes, stamps, water et al.
A 20-minute walk from the train station; the Pitti Palace is 3 mins away, the Ponte Vecchio about 5 and the Uffizzi just
10.
Silvia and Alessandra are mega friendly and super attentive.
We'll be back...
- Karen (10/5): Excellent holiday in Florence made better with a stay here. Highly recommended! - Felt homely. Well equipped. Spacious. Loud music playing at midnight from a neighbour but otherwise perfect!
- Leontidou (10/5): Exceptional -
