If your a light sleeper a pair of ear plugs would be useful. The road at the front, like all roads in Florence is pretty busy. I would stay again. More photos on google maps. • Ian (9/5): Ideal location to discover Florence. - Perfect location to discover Florence. 1min from Ponte Veccio. It’s also beside some great bars and restaurants. The property is full of authentic charm and Andreia gave great advice on where to eat locally. It could be noisy but honestly it didn’t bother us at all. That’s the price of being so central.

Gastvrouw was super vriendelijk, ze gaf ons een lijstje met leuke barretjes/restaurants en heeft ook mijn taxi naar de luchthaven terug geregeld. Super! Er was af en toe ‘s nachts veel lawaai, mede door natuurlijk de goede ligging in het centrum.

• Gerhard (10/5): Florenz mittendrin - Komfortabel und stylish, allerbeste Lage an der Ponte Vecchio, besser geht es nicht. Man fällt aus der Haustür in den für uns besten Platz Teil der Stadt. Sehr nette Gastgeberin mit sehr guten Restaurant-Empfehlungen, unbedingt in Anspruch nehmen. Top! Dafür können die Gastgeber nichts: Florenz ist wirklich sehr laut, empfindsame sollten Ohrstöpsel benutzen

The whole property was renovated and you have everything you need to prepare a meal or just relax! Host: If I could, my rate would be 10 starts! She was very helpful from the beginning, gave us a lot of great tips of places to go and even went with us to the restaurant right next to the property and got us a table when they were crowded! Have no words to thank Andrea enough, I would definitely come back to stay at one of her properties! Nothing

• Kane (10/5): Cool, comfortable apartment in a great location with everything I needed for a week long stay! - Great location! Cool apartment with a comfortable feel. Can open the windows and look at the busy foot traffic below. A/C worked well as did the washer. I would definitely stay there again! It is located on a noisy street which did not bother me because I can sleep easily despite noise. It may be an issue to others if they are sensitive to noise at various times of day and night.

I recently stayed in a stunning loft apartment in Florence, Italy, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The loft space is even more beautiful in person, The space was beautiful ,exposed brick, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located in the heart of the city and close to everything you’d want to see and experience. What made this stay unforgettable, though, was the property owner, Andreia. She was absolutely exceptional & kind, She was very responsive, and incredibly helpful. She was waiting for us outside the apartment when we arrived and welcomed us with such warmth. I asked her about a nice dinner place for my sister's birthday and she created a personalized list of recommendations that we followed closely, and we were amazed at how helpful and spot-on her suggestions were. Thanks to Andreia, this was the most memorable sister trip we’ve ever taken. I can’t thank her enough and truly can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend! This place felt like home! WE LOVED EVERYTHING! WISH WOULD COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER!
• Jacqui (5/5): - The host was flexible as I was delayed. It was good to have a washing machine and coffee maker. The internet and air conditioning worked well. The location was great. The building was secure. The place was not very clean: the floor was dirty and the practical design for day to day was not logical. The bench where the coffee machine was placed tipped occasionally. Most of the lights were bright wall mounted but were not well placed (no light for kitchen but would shine in your eyes when on couch or in bed). Lamps would flicker from power point.
• Bruce (8/5): Very good - Great location, lot's of really good restaurants and entertainment nearby and the apartment had everything we needed. There was a bit of late night noise.
• Ferenc (8/5): Very good - The host came to the apartment, guided us around. She was really kind and helpful with things to see, what to do and and where to eat (list of great restaurants to try). The apartment is very nice, works for longer stay too. We have spent almost 2 weeks there. This is a city to visit. If you have not been in Firenze yet, book at least a week! The only negative, that is more a general issue in southern countries is the lack of isolation on the houses (even on brand new ones). It is not needed for the heat, but more for noise cancellation if you are living down town. ... and this apartment is the most beautiful central downtown area one can imagine, including the night life. You will sleep between 3am and 6am, so you have a rest when you go home :)
• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Andreia was an amazing host. She met with us when we arrived to share the keys and also show us all the amenities in the apartment and help get us situated. She shared a list of restaurants with us as well - we visited a couple and they were delicious. If we had any issues, she was available to help us via WhatsApp and offered to come by if necessary. For the apartment itself, it was also excellent. There is a small kitchen with microwave and small fridge. There was a kettle for hot water for tea and a coffee machine with pods as well. We used the washing machine to clean our clothes, and there was a drying rack and iron available for us to use too. The bed was a large bed, and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and stocked well. And there was a good amount of space. There was a proper living room with a TV too. The location is amazing too, everything is very walkable in Florence, and this apartment is located in a great area where you can walk everywhere. Overall, the apartment exceeded our expectations and was a great place to stay. It rained heavily when we were in Florence, so some of the smells of the street got into the apartment which were a bit smelly. The problem resolved itself after a few hours. It wasn't that big of a deal, but it was the only negative thing we experienced, so I wanted to note it in the review. Despite this, I would still come back and stay here the next time I am in Florence. In an older city, I think this is expected when it rains.

Too many keys needed to get in door and should be coded for easy entry .

• Monique (10/5): Perfect stay in the center of Florence! - Amazing location! Host was really easy to reach and helpful! Apartment was clean, lots of space and had all the amenities needed. Might just apply to me - a solo female traveler. They only provided a single key which is also needed to turn on all the apartment's power. So once you're in the apartment, you will need to lock the door in the dark (there is a window but obviously at night it is dark) before you use the same key to turn on the power. It was honestly a bit scary. However, all in all will definitely book the place again but next time I would ask for two keys. I totally understand the need to save power but for safety reasons I would prefer to have some light in the apartment when I enter.
• Anthony (9/5): Lovely apartment in a fantastic location! - The apartment is in an absolutely ideal location for exploring Florence. The hosts Andrea and Lorenzo were wonderful and were kind enough to make several restaurant recommendations and dinner reservations for us while we were there. They met us at the apartment when we arrived (late due to a delayed flight) and showed us how everything worked. The apartment itself is lovely with exposed stone walls and open staircase up to the loft bed/bathroom. It has a nice dining table and sitting area. There was one ring that included a key required to turn on power in the apartment and keys to unlock the door to leave the apartment. As a result we were unable to leave a key in the door at night (unless we wanted to be without power) which could have resulted in us being unable to leave the apartment quickly in an emergency. When we reached out to Andrea, she very kindly gave us a second apartment key which resolved the issue for us. Just a couple of small things - it would be nice if there was a bit more counter space in the kitchen and the couch is not terribly comfortable. All in all, it was a wonderful stay for us and excellent value.
• Catharina (3/5): Good location, bad experience. - Great location Hospitality was below our expectations. There was a problem with the hot water that couldn’t be fixed. The landlady gave us two options, stay without hot water or move to another apartment. We wanted to book another hotel ourselves and that they compensated us for the remaining two nights. They refused, so we agreed to an apartment close to the original apartment. Suddenly out of the blue we got a massage that she rented a completely different apartment without consulting us. She rented an apartment 30 minutes away with a rating of 4,8 on booking. When we refused to go there she got very unpleasant. She showed no compassion at all. We had no place to go and she refused to compensate us. Eventually we had to book a hotel ourselves and it cost us hundreds of euro’s extra. Not to mention that we lost a day of vacation on finding another hotel last minute and relocating. We definitely don’t recommend this apartment, the way got treated was not ok.

It's in walking distance to the main attractions and 20 minutes walk from the train station. Noise from the street comes right through into the apartment so I'd recommend having earplugs for sleep.
• Katherine (9/5): Would definitely recommend this apartment, to anyone wanting to be close to everything - Fantastic location, excellent communication with Andreia, parking garage was really close. Lovely apartment. The only thing was that the bedroom upstairs was quite hot overnight even with the fan. However the daily temperature was very hot so it may have been an unusual circumstance.
• David (10/5): AMAZING PLACE WITH INCREDIBLE HOST IN GREAT LOCATION - This place was beautiful, and the host, Andreia, was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond, assisting with everything from luggage and planning to recommendations. When I faced a transportation issue for an appointment, Andreia even helped me secure a ride. Her support was invaluable. The accommodation itself was stunning, and I highly recommend staying in the Oltrarno area when visiting Florence. The great thing about writing reviews on Booking.com is that owners can use constructive feedback to improve their properties for future guests. I have two small suggestions that might enhance the experience. First, I’d recommend adding a mirror downstairs. Although the place is fantastic, there’s currently no mirror on the lower level for a quick last-minute check before heading out. It might seem minor, but having to go upstairs for this can be a bit inconvenient. Second, consider adjusting the A/C unit setup. Currently, it’s controlled by a master power switch that is keyed, which is intended to save on gas and electricity. However, during the peak of summer, the room gets quite warm before cooling down. Perhaps a limit on the A/C usage could balance energy savings with comfort. These are suggestions for imrpovement only. LOVED THE PLACE!
