• Schreiber (7/5): Great apartment for TWO, street noise is very loud and very late - Large apartment I don't remember if it said the elevator was broken, but it was. The listing says "soundproof" but only in the rear bedroom. If you were planning on using the couch in the front room, you won't sleep unless you are deaf
• Jane (7/5): A good base from which to explore Firenze and surrounding area. - Good central location. Good sized apartment. Lots of street noise. Lift was not working.
• Damjan (8/5): - The accommodation is located in the city centre, very close to all major tourist attractions. The apartment is spacious, set in an old building with high ceilings that exudes the spirit of past times, giving it a special charm. The terrace, or open space at the back of the building, offers peace and quiet away from the city noise and crowds, which are present not only in summer but also in early spring. For two evenings, we noticed some issues with the availability of hot water and the heating system, which could be related to the ongoing construction works in the immediate vicinity of the building at the time of our stay in Florence.

• Francheska (7/5): Too expensive - The property is close to the centre and the train station. We booked this last minute we’re grateful they were able to accommodate us on such short notice. Too expensive as the property is outdated, it could use some renovation and it is so dark as well. There are not enough sockets as they are either broken or don’t work at all. Since it’s in the centre, it can get noisy at night. Property is on the first floor, and the lift doesn’t work from there. Everything is old, honestly was scary to stay there. The kitchen stuff were too old as well, it’s time to retire them.

• Pam (10/5): Spacious apartment in a great location. - Really spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location. Close to train station, tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. Lighting in the kitchen/dining area could have been brighter.

• Benso (8/5): Appartement très spacieux, authentique et très bien situe! - Localisation exceptionnelle, situé à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la gare Santa Maria Novella et juste au dessus de , petit bar où prendre un bon petit déjeuner! Jolie vue avec fenêtres hautes, plafonds hauts également, décoration un peu à l'ancienne avec bibliothèques, parfait pour un séjour à trois! Il y a aussi une petite terrasse privée qui donne sur la chambre, sympa pour prendre l'air. L'appartement n'est pas tout récent, les lampes dans la salle de bain clignotaient parfois, la douche était correcte mais pourrait être ameliorée, et même si la literie était bonne il y avait quelques cheveux sur les coussins stockés dans l'armoire pour le divan lit...

• Greedygurme (8/5): In the centre of Florence - Location was perfect - max. 10 mins to everything. Google location pin is a little off. I recommend searching for nextdoor 'My Bakery' - also a wonderful spot for breakfast/ snack. Communication - fast and efficient. Facilities - comfortable bed, good kitchen with big dining table and very cold fridge. According to Booking listing, there should have been a coffee machine and shampoo. There was a mokka pot and shower gel only. Living room had a sofabed and work station, so useful for digital nomads, but not very comfortable to hang out in. Large terrace but no table or chairs which was a pity.

• Gamzec (9/5): Superb - The location of the house is amazing It is a high ceiling place with big windows in the living room; well decorated. Internet was working Okay. Very clean - full of all facilities mentioned at the begining. Taking the keys was a nightmare part of the booking. First of all, the address they sent us via information was wrong. I reached their phone but only one of the phone numbers responded and she misled us regarding the correct address. I had to call Booking, and the booking agent had to reach out the other person. It was raining a lot at that time and we had to wait loong time to get back to hear from them. The address they out on Google Maps is wrong and needed to be updated urgently.

• Sarah (6/5): Convenient location, but problematic. - Excellent location, walkable to everything. The living room with sofa bed does have a door to close it from the main apartment and the 1 bathroom is Jack and Jill to the main bedroom. Walk out balcony from kitchen and bedroom is convenient. The electrical is compromised, many plugs are not functioning/recessed into the wall and unable to be plugged into, and 2 of 4 gas burners will not ignite but does off-gas if left open (I’m in the building code field, both issues are not very safe). Also the heat didn’t work The key was not in the lock box on arrival, I had to call twice for support to access, the contact was more interested in me placing cash by the door for cleaning fee and the increased city tax. Since I prepaid 1300€ this extra 100€ being there immediately (not picked up for 3 days) seemed crass given the challenges.
• Teresa (4/5): Great location but terrible apartment and maintenance bordering on dangerous. - location is fantastic! the size is great and spacious. However, this is entirely let down by the general cleanliness and professionalism of the “staff” or landlord, both of which we did not see. Nobody greeted us, or relayed information pertaining to the apartment or its amenities inclusive of WiFi etc. Lacking in general maintenance. The plumbing is in shambles in the kitchen and one pipe is disconnected which I had to personally reconnect myself after it slipped out. Handles on drawers are missing and perhaps most importantly plug sockets are damaged and may be hazardous in the future though right now they can’t and certainly should not be used. Would be conscious of couples with children when in apartments in such unsafe disrepair. The bedroom shutter does not shut or lock posing security issues and comfort and coldness issues. Lastly, the furniture there is covered in stains of varying, unpleasant description. As above. The aged historical building requires a good, conscientious hand to maintain it. This is not the case right now as appliances are very old, very dirty, lighting is limited and this property is not seeing the fullest of its potential nor is it really safe to rent for short or long term stays overall. I would imagine the landlord keeps things running on the general location being as good as it is and the incorrect and outdated photos used on the site to bring custom in.
