• James (9/5): Walked everywhere from the apartment. So many good restaurants nearby, one block from the Duomo - Vintage design with updated kitchen and Bathroom. Location is excellent, within walking distance of most attractions. Vintage elevator worked flawlessly. Should you chose to cook, the kitchen is well outfitted. Newer Washer/Dryer just outside apartment door. Dishwasher in kitchen. Can’t think of anything.
• DONGGON (10/5): 완벽한 숙소! - 제가 이제까지 만나본 호스트 중 가장 친절했어요. 호스트 로미오가 숙소의 역사와 더불어 주변 안내까지 정말 자세히 알려줍니다. 게다가 엔틱하게 리모델링 되어있어 여기 묵는 것 자체가 피렌체의 정취를 더 느끼게 해주어서 정말 좋았어요. 엔틱한 스타일과 달리 방 온도는 완벽하게 조정되고, 따뜻합니다. 부엌, 침실, 화장실 등 모두 편리하게 이용가능했어요. (부엌엔 생각하는 모든 기기가 다 있고, 같은 층에 세탁룸이 따로 있어서 세탁기 건조기도 이용할 수 있어요.) 게다가 위치!!! 100걸음이면 두오모 도착입니다. 안방 창문에서 두오모가 보이고 부엌에서는 메디치 예배당이 보여요. 피렌체 주요 관광지 어딜 가든 10분 이내로 갈 수 있는 완벽한 위치였어요. 피렌체에 다시 오게 된다면 꼭 다시 묶고 싶은 숙소입니다. :-) 없습니다.
• Erika (8/5): Very special stay at Christmas - We had a fantastic stay at Corilla Olimpica Palace. Romeo was wonderful; he was leaving to go out of town but still took the time to go over every last detail of the apartment. He went above and beyond by even helping us have a taxi meet us at the apartment when he was away on holiday. We appreciated it so much. The home is lovely, seeped in history, the beds are comfortable and we loved having space for our family to relax. The location was incredible. The only challenge, which was absolutely out of the owner's control, were the bells of Santa Maria de Fiori and San Lorenzo church tolling very early in the morning as well as the street noise. We absolutely appreciated the fact we were so close to both churches and loved being able to hear the bells. Though it did start to lose it's specialness when we were woken up very early each morning by bells tolling. The street noise is also unavoidable being in the center of town. There were street cleaners or garbage trucks one morning early, horns honking, people yelling. It's just the nature of the beast being in the center of town. Only mentioning in case someone is very sensitive to noise. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

• FEI (10/5): 完美的入住体验，百分百推荐。 - 公寓位于建筑四楼，本身是历史古迹，是佛罗伦萨女诗人玛丽亚·玛达莱娜·莫雷利的公寓。房东装修时尽可能还原了原貌，装饰和家具都古色古香，别具特色。公寓目前由房东儿子Romeo打理，设施齐全，干净整洁，位置极佳，就在圣母百花大教堂旁边，距离火车站步行10分钟，距离所有景点都很近。尽管位于旅游区，但晚上整体还是比较安静的。 没有，一切都很好。

It has an antique décor, a modern bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it a place that is large enough for a family to live in. Finally, the host, Romeo, was very kind and met all of our detailed requests. I plan to come back with my family next time.

The accommodation was spacious and beautifully furnished and the host was extremely helpful and informative. There was some noise from the street at night but that is always a downside of staying so centrally.
• Michal (10/5): This stay completely exceeded my expectations and a big thanks goes to our host Romeo. - The stay in Florence was great. The location of the apartment is really excellent. It's a 15 minute tram ride from the airport and about a 5 minute walk from the train station. In the heart of Florence. Both views from the windows are perfect. The first one is of the Duomo and the second one is even better of the Cappella Medici. You can basically stand by the window for minutes and enjoy it. The apartment is really big and equipped with everything you need. Romeo handed us the keys. He explained to us where to shop, where to eat and what to see. Romeo was by far the best host I've ever met. I can only recommend staying here. If you want to do sightseeing and are planning a stay for 3 or more days, consider buying a Firenzecard. Sometimes it will help you skip the queue and if you want to visit more, it will save you money. Florence is a really touristy city. The prices especially in the town center correspond to that. My experience is that it is worth walking for about 5 minutes outside the center and you will find a nice cafe/restaurant where it will not be completely crowded and the prices will also be acceptable.

The location is absolutely ideal and the apartment is comfortable and well equipped. We were all extremely happy with our stay. The number of hours of heat are a bit limited but I suspect that that’s universal in Firenze.

• Teresa (7/5): Good - Great location, great apartment I booked Corilla Olimpica Palace for its proximity to the Duomo, but more importantly because it has an elevator. Unfortunately the elevator is not compliant with the law. It does not have emergency devices to communicate with the outside in case of an emergency as required by law. I was stuck inside the elevator for over half hour, could not call anyone as there was no network. A very devasting experience!! After ringing the emergency button for over half hour someone came from outside and was able to open the elevator door from outside. Upon informing the host, was told the elevator was functional.

Very close to the Duomo and the train station,and a short walk down to the Ponte Vecchio. The property was everything we had hoped for. When we first made the booking we got a message from Romeo saying that the property was not a hotel and that we could not arrive at midnight. We never suggested any such nonsense. Romeo met us at the property which was exceptional.He gave us information about Florence .Our booking was for 3 days. Romeo then told us of the 3 locations that we have to take various types of rubbish to before we vacate the property.Very unusual !

• Peter (9/5): Location and standard considered, this is well worth the money! - The location was nothing short of perfect just turning the corner and seeing the Cathedral. The apartment was more than big enough for a family of 5. The hosts were very accessible and communications were swift. Getting access to the place was handled perfectly and the short introduction was as good as can be expected There wasn't anything at all that bothered us. Due to the location, there was of course some street noise, but not to a point where it bothered us. 5 people sharing one bathroom could perhaps be an issue for some.

The host was so accommodating, holding our luggage for us when we arrived early and bringing up our bags for us so they were waiting for us after we explored Florence. The location could not have been better, the views from every window were breathtaking, the care placed in creating such a warm and accommodating space, the comfort of the beds, and the attention to every detail a guest would need on their travels was above and beyond. We are still talking about our stay and would not hesitate for a second to recommend Corilla Olimpica Palace to our friends and family when in Florence. We can not wait to return. We absolutely loved everything about our stay!

• Jeanette (9/5): Spectacular location right in the heart of Florence! - This spacious 4th floor apartment (which is serviced by a small elevator) is located only 2 minutes walking distance to the Florence Cathedral. The apartment has unique antique furnishings that complement its historic style and it was spacious and very comfortable. There are large comfortable beds, good internet and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom had plenty of towels (but no shampoo or soap, so plan to bring your own). There is a washer and dryer located in a separate room outside the apartment, which is shared with other apartments on the 4th floor (detergent is provided). Located in the very centre of the historic area of Florence, there are spectacular views of the Duomo from the living room & bedroom and of the Basilica of San Lorenzo from the shower! There was also a very talented opera singer that performed several times below our window during the week we stayed- which added another layer to the ambience of this special location. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops just outside the door and a small grocery store only a short walk away. Romeo was a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions we had and provided restaurant recommendations as well. He met us upon arrival to explain the apartment’s features and nearby historic sites. We had a wonderful stay. The only downside of being in this spectacular central location is that it is in a very busy tourist area and can therefore be somewhat noisy late at night (particularly during the weekend). As the windows are not double glazed, we used earplugs to solve this problem for sleeping.
• Larry (10/5): GREAT place to stay and use as a base to explore Florence/Tuscany. - The host, Romeo, was absolutely fantastic. He communicated well before and during our stay as well as answered all of our questions. He provided resources to help us explore Florence and the surrounding area. One of the best hosts I have met over my years of travel. The apartment itself was beyond expectations as a 17th century building. Very cool furniture from the time period as well as many modern conveniences. The location was absolutely A+ as it is only two minutes from Il Duomo. Very well worth the value! The elevator seemed to be a negative aspect of this rental, but over the time we were there it became an eccentric attachment and not a negative at all.

It was a little bit far from the Sorrento shopping action, however close to the train station which was a good trade off!

• Irena (10/5): Fantastic stay at Corilla Olimpica, indeed a home with a view! - We loved our stay at Corilla Olimpica palace! The location of the apartment is amazing, right in the heart of Florence; all the points of interest are a stroll away. The building is historic, very well maintained, on a pedestrian street, and the apartment itself is lovely, with decorations characteristic of the Florence-of-the-old-times, yet modern and very well appointed. One can admire the beautiful traditional Tuscan architecture from every window, and sleep well at night due to the double glass. Finally, special thanks to our host Romeo, who was extremely available and accommodating. He waited for us on arrival, called a cab for us on departure, and was a wealth of information about Florence throughout the stay. And as an interesting fact, Mozart slept across the street, so look no further! We highly recommend the apartment and hope to return soon! Everything was perfect

The apartment was well appointed; like a little museum. It was comfortable with all essentials being provided. There was even a real dryer for your wash. Romeo was an excellent host. • Celeste (10/5): Beautiful, elegant apartment in ideal location - The location of this apartment was amazing. We could see the Duomo from the bedroom and the Medici chapel from the kitchen and living room. The apartment is beautiful, huge and elegantly decorated. It is a couple of minutes walk to the Duomo and also to a great grocery store, gelato and anything else you may need, and less than 10 minutes walk to the train station. Having a lift was great and it worked well and quickly (fourth floor!). Host was very friendly and helpful and provided a thorough review of the apartment on check in. We very much enjoyed staying in this apartment. There was an issue with drainage in the shower, but technicians were coming the day we checked out so I am confident it's being taken care of. Otherwise, the apartment was perfect.

He was very kind and explained every single detail of the room eventough he had his birthday that day. Very professional, very kind and amazing. There were also views of Il Duomo and other majestic monuments and buildings from every window. Romeo provided a very warm welcome and all the information we needed. The property was great. You just have to keep in mind that Florence is so popular with tourists that it can be noisy at times.
• Bne (10/5): Beautifully renovated apartment right in the centre of Florence - and yet quiet! - Corilla Olimpica Palace is a beautifully-renovated and spacious apartment right in the centre of Florence ... the Cathedral is about one minutes' walk away. And despite itself central location, it was also quiet (and the bells of the cathedral don't chime until 7 am)! The apartment comprises a living room, dining room, main bedroom (with an extremely comfortable king-size bed) and a kitchen, and there is a washing machine and dryer in a separate room up a few stairs on the landing outside the apartment. The apartment is on the 4th floor of the building and is accessible by a lift that, whilst compact, was big enough to take two adults and all four of a bags! Our host, Mario, met us on our arrival and gave us lots of interesting history about the apartment, and explained how the facilities worked. We would thoroughly recommend Corilla Olimpica Palace if you are looking for a home away from home in central Florence.

The pleasant owner, Romeo, met us upon arrival to explain the apartment’s features and nearby historic sites. The apartment has splendid antique furnishings that complement its historic style, comfortable beds, good internet and a well-equipped kitchen. CNN International was available for news. Located in a busy tourist area during the day, but quiet at night. An opera singer performed several times below our window to the cheers of enthusiasts. Good nearby restaurants, take outs and a large grocery store only a short walk away. An enjoyable home away from home. Nothing I can think of.
• Maura (10/5): Exceptional - The location was right around the corner from the Duomo. For such a close proximity to all the touristy landmarks, it was surprisingly quiet and we heard no noise at night. The air conditioning worked great as well. There was A/C in the bedrooms only, but it wasn't necessary in the rest of the apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels, however, there was no shampoo so plan to bring it (we had our own). There is a washer and dryer which is located in a separate room outside our apartment but same floor and it is shared with other apartments. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Romeo was a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions we had and provided recommendations as well.
