Too far to walk with large luggage from train station (25 minute walk). We caught an uber. Washing & drying facilities were great. Bed, pillows and shower all good. Very spacious living area with high ceilings, air conditioning was excellent. Apartment was flat with only 3 stairs at entrance. Had seperate freezer. Host Cosimo could not have been more helpful and nothing was a problem. Very responsive on What’s App. None.

The building is very secure and boasts a beautiful view of the garden. Very well appointed kitchen. Good WiFi. Very comfortable and attractive apartment and quiet. Spacious. Loved the natural light and garden view out the window. Easy and safe walk into the city.

You can see almost everything if you walk a little bit. - Convenient self-check-in - a pretty apt, a comfortable apt - It's very bad when you drain into the shower booth and sink. It takes more than 20 minutes to drain all the water after a shower. - The city tax in Florence is very expensive.

• Thomas (10/5): Sogni d’Oro - 1. A very large flat.  With four of us, we had more than enough space to include luggage. 2.  We easily stayed cool when we wanted.  It had AC units in the living room, bedroom (also had a ceiling fan), and bathroom.  The building is cool, so we did not run all the time as it was better not to have a full shock of heat when out and about (our pov). 3. Had everything you could imagine: books, umbrellas, glasses, on and on. 4. The inner courtyard view from the living room and kitchen was green and peaceful. 5. The Internet worked great. 6. A very nice small park around the corner to relax in or stroll, especially in the evenings. 7. The flat is in a quiet area and only a 15 minutes' walk to Ufizzi and other sights, for example. 8. 7 min walk to a well stocked grocery store. 9. Host responsive the couple times we had questions.   10. The key app worked great. Although we had keys, we only used them for the flat door as the app did not control it.  There is the outer building door and an internal gate door the app opens (has keys, too). 11. The host could not meet us (no problem for us), he included excellent directions on how to obtain access via app and how to get keys from the lock box.  The directions included in the video are super easy. 12. Firenze Campo Marte is a closer train stop just north than walking from Central.  We used it when we left for points farther south.   Overall, we enjoyed the flat greatly, and the kids were sad to leave.  If you want absolute perfection and a brand new build, then find a brand new hotel.  If you want to enjoy somewhat how it would feel to live in Florence, soak up the people and amazing culture, this is an absolute perfect option. We could not stay longer than 6 nights.

• Hrksea (10/5): Exceptional - From start to finish, our stay at Colonna Apartment was outstanding. The apartment was an amazing place to spend our time in Florence. Check in was a breeze with great communication from our host who checked in throughout our stay to ensure everything was good with our stay. It was clean and comfortable with all the necessities and was in a great location. The shower drain was very slow to drain.
• Linda (7/5): Great location and quiet - Big light airy apartment. Old building with plenty of charm. Location was excellent, very easy to walk everywhere. Quiet area at night. Bed comfortable. Very easy to communicate with the host. He replaced the faulty kettle and toaster during our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and there were not enough towels. There is a problem with the plumbing, water drains from the sink and shower very slowly. When the dishwasher is running the water comes back up into the sink. The iron leaks water and needs replacing as does the pots and pans in the cupboard which are in poor condition. The storage cupboard for the iron etc needs a good clean.
