• Christina (9/5): A wonderful apartment with a great host in a beautiful city - The apartment was very clean and had most everything I needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the washing machine and air conditioner worked well. The bed was very comfortable and if you close the shutters, the bedroom is nice and dark. The location was great. It's away from the worst of the tourist crowds, but still within a reasonable walk of most of the places I wanted to go while in Florence. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, the Pitti Palace is super close, and there's a little grocery store not that far away if you want to cook. The host was very friendly and accommodating. She was there to explain everything at check in and has a book with suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area. She was also very quick to reply to messages. I really enjoyed my stay there and would absolutely stay again and recommend this place to any friends heading to Florence. You do need to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so if you have a lot of heavy luggage, it might not be the best place for you. The neighborhood is generally very quiet at night and in the early morning, but the bedroom is on the street, so there was some random noise throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper like me, you might want earplugs to help block out the occasional car or loud person that passes by. There were some ants in the shower when I first arrived, but the host quickly brought over some spray and a trap and I didn't have any issues after that. This is just personal preference, but I would have liked paper towels in the kitchen, a box of tissues, and a full length mirror. A microwave would also be nice to quickly heat up leftovers, but I understand they are not as common in Italian apartments.

I liked everything about the property. I do suggest that they provide a dishbrush as it was hard to clean the grater with just a sponge.

The apartment was super clean when we entered, bathroom, kitchen bedroom, everything was spotless and smelled fresh. The location is also very convenient, close to Palazzo Pitti, nice restaurants and within 10 minutes walking you are at the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment also had a nice airconditioning which didn't make a lot of noise so we could leave it on during the night.

You were able to walk everywhere but still be in a relatively quiet area. Having my own kitchen was a plus. The hosts, Alessandra and her son Mattia, were very welcoming and helpful. They responded promptly to any queries. I had to get a very early flight on my departure day and was concerned about getting a cab that early in the morning but Alessandra arranged it all for me and all went smoothly. Nothing
• Elena (10/5): Big beautiful, comfortable and quiet apartment in Santo Spirito area. - This apartment is located in a quiet area across Arno River from the tourist crowds. At the end of the day I loved returning to the clean, spacious, well/equipped apartment. Many windows and fresh air! The hosts were exceptionally helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone I know. Only drawback for some travelers would be the absence of an elevator. Appreciated everything about it.

It was spacious, clean, well well-equipped and Alessandra was amazing. She met us at the property, showed us everything we needed, and left us with a map and book of recommendations for the city. Visit the local pizza and gelato places she recommended. They are amazing!! The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed. Great for a family of 4 with two pull-out couches for the kids. The AC worked. It was on a street that was quiet but close enough to walk to the centre of Florence. Nothing really. The only issue we had was some noisy tourists in other apartments in the building but that’s beyond the control of this place.

• Tyree (7/5): It is okay, has everything you need. - The property is in a quiet location, not too far from the city centre. Bed is comfy. Has everything you need. The host is very responsive and helpful, giving lots of recommendations for Florence. The rooms are very small. I wouldn’t recommend this for a couple, especially if you have suitcases as there is no space to open them. The bathroom is very small, only room for one person at a time. The shower was a bit mouldy and doesn’t drain well, it floods within a couple minutes. The air con is also in the hallway which isn’t convenient for those hot summer nights.

• Warwick (10/5): A Spacious and serene apartment, very close to key Firenze attractions - Spacious, very well equipped on a quiet street close to several attractions and cafes. Twenty minutes walk or by bus from the main train station. Good communications with the owner. It is on the second floor and there is no lift but it is worth the effort.

There was a laundry machine which came on handy, the kitchen was well equipped, the place was spacious, clean and illuminated. The location is a bit far from the tourist places so just keep that in mind when booking.

She also prepared a guide book to see all the local restaurants/shops and avoid touridt traps. Highly recommend! Mosquitos were always a challenge in preventing coming in the room even with a flyscreen. Though this isn't the host fault but the reality of staying in Florence.

The apartment is a gem, located in Oltrano, a few steps away from Piazza Santo Spirito and in an area filled with nice restaurants, cafes and arts & crafts boutiques that are traditional for Florence. The apartment is very clean, equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay and with one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. Alessandra was very helpful and accommodating of everything, from check-in to check-out times, which was extremely appreciated. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Florence! Everything was perfect :)

The apartment had everything we needed, was pretty comfy and had good air con. We had a great end to our Italy trip here, and felt really at home. Alessandro gave us loads of good recommendations and there's plenty in the info book at the apartment - it's clear that she loves the city and especially Santo Spirito. We'll be back! Genuinely - the only negative was the lack of good supermarkets - but that's it. oh, and there were loads of mosquitoes in the apartment when we arrived, so once we'd killed them all, we felt like we couldn't safely open the windows!

When we got closer to staying there, it said that we booked apartment 1 (which isn't really pictured clearly in the photo's) Also, the apartment was not really cleaned that well
• Shalysse (7/5): Overall it was a comfortable place to stay and a great location but not the best value for money, in my opinion - The location was exceptional! It was in the perfect spot to explore Florence. The kitchen was stocked well and the access to the washing machine was fantastic. Alessandra was so lovely when we met her on the first day and was kind enough to help book a taxi for us on our final day. There were only two rolls of toilet paper left for the three nights we were staying and there was mould throughout the shower and on the shower curtain. The air conditioner was in a position in the hallway which meant that we had to leave the door to the bedroom open, which let in a lot of light so it wasn’t ideal for sleeping.
• Elaine (9/5): Superb - The landlord is very very nice, the apartment is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, very quiet. It is only 4-5 mins away walk from the Palazzo Pitti, and 5-7 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance to visit Florence.
